I printed out my insurance info stating they covered extractions with no co-pay and they said it would still be another $500. They wanted to take more x-rays and ignored me over and over when I said I only wanted a tooth that hurt pulled and had no money for anything else. I had over $1,000 coverage on my insurance which would have covered one extraction, but they refused to do it without an extra $500. It's humiliating to repeat a half a dozen times I did not have it. They are simply just set up to milk insurance companies and don't care at all for people with limited funds. Michelle treated me like I was stupid would not shut up and ended up hanging up on me. They insisted in taking more xrays saying the insurance would cover those. I told Michelle I couldn't pay for any treatment, so what's the point? They (the doctor) are clearly concerned only with milking the insurance companies. Meanwhile my tooth still hurts.

Front reception was friendly and nice. Xrays and new patient interview was smooth. They really wanted to get to know you which I liked. After my first new pt exam, I was told I needed a cavity filing. When scheduling (the earliest appt…read morea month away), I was told to put down 50% of the projected charge of service otherwise I couldn't set the appt. I didn't understand why since they were in network on my PPO dental plan. I did it but since this didn't seem right, I called my ins co who agreed they shouldn't do that. After mentioning the call they did refund my money and they were ultimately paid appropriately by my ins co. I felt that was crooked. However, the worst part, during the procedure, I was experiencing a lot of pain while he drilled requiring stopping him for repeated injections of numbing meds. Then during a very long time of drilling, Raul Perez fractured my tooth!!!! It also occurred to me, after the fact, that he was drilling a tooth with a previous mercury filing and didn't perform any of the necessary precautions when removing mercury. This was awful!! I do not recommend this dentist!
