As a parent I can say one of the things that is always cautious is that you never know a 100% what is going on with your child so a lot of trust is involved but from what I have seen and the reactions I get from my child they have a very fun hands on program with the kids and you couldn't really ask much more. I will probably re-review in the coming years when my child enters the older classrooms to see how the development is handled. As of now though it is pretty good.

She is the tiniest toddler in the room. I proceeded to observe the situation as the teacher continued yelling and snatching items out of the kids hands. I thought about reacting but I knew they'd call the cops on me. So I went to the office, got Miralena and said, "You need to get your teacher. She's in there yanking the kids and snatching things." As we walked to the classroom, you could literally hear the teacher yelling and screaming at the kids. At that point, Miralena pulled the teacher to the back room and talked to her. I don't know what was said... At that point, my granddaughter started crying cause she didn't want to stay. Mind you this child has been going to this school for over a year and actually looked forward to going to school every day. (Especially when Miss Nyema was there) I left. Sat in the car for a second to gather my thoughts. Then went back inside and told Miralena "Today is her last day! And, I'm gonna need your director to contact me immediately." 11:34am Tuesday 2/14/23, Miralena called "So Ali is staying?" I replied, "Well I don't know. I'm still waiting for your director to call me. So how was that situation handled? Were her parents made aware of the incident involving their child? Cause I'm still trying to get in touch with them. " She said, "We let the teacher go. She won't be back." I said, " Well where's your director because she never called me...and since she didn't it's too late. What is corporates number?" She said, "I'm not in the office and have to stay in the classroom all day today." 4:54pm Tuesday 2/14/23, Rashawnah calls. She apologized for not getting back to me sooner. I asked, "When did Miralena tell you about the incident?" She said "Friday evening." I said, "Isn't protocol to alert superiors immediately after an incident involving the children?" She said "Yes!" So I said, "Right. Since Miralena didn't and now you're just calling me about an incident that took place early Friday morning ...other measures need to be taken. What's corporate number and I want that ethics line too." I proceeded to say, "See if I had snatched her ass up y'all would have called the cops on me. You would want me to do something too if it were you and yours. This didn't personally happen to me and mine but I witnessed it happen to another baby who could have very well been ours." I told her that she would be able to see it all on the cameras. She said they don't have cameras inside the facility. 11:36am Today, 2/17/23 Kelly Phelan calls me to ask is Ali last day on Tuesday? I said, "No. where did you get that from?" She said, "You the grandmother told someone here that her last day was on Tuesday." Then she proceeded to say, "AND JUST SO YOU KNOW, LICENSING WAS JUST HERE AND FOUND NO WRONGDOINGS." I said, "WELL HOW WAS THAT DETERMINED WHEN THEY DIDN'T CONTACT ME THE WITNESS WHO SAW IT HAPPEN?" Nowwwww she wants to play victim. Talking about me screaming...so I hung up. She called back to threaten me with the police if I come down there." I called her back to confirm what she had said and hung up. All of this because I reported a danger that I witnessed against a defenseless baby girl. Now Kelly wants to gaslight and play victim. Her guilty conscience came out in her "argument" with me. Extremely unprofessional.

Our son, age 5, is currently in his 2nd year at MFS and we could not be happier…read more When he first started in PK (last year), we immediately felt welcomed by the wonderful administration/teachers/staff led by (the very approachable and involved) Head of School, Julia de la Torre. The overall school atmosphere is like something out of a fairytale. From pick up to drop off, we are greeted with smiling faces, kind students, friendly parents and an overall feeling of inclusion. Academically, we were impressed with the curriculum at the PK and K levels. In addition to his normal class schedule, our son has two special-subject areas each day; one being Coding (taught by the amazing Rachel Kaplan). All special areas are wonderful, but as I understand it, MFS is the only school in NJ to teach Coding (which is the future) at the PK and K levels. We are planning to start our younger son, age 2, into the PS program next year as he will be old enough to enroll (age 3) by September.

He came from a private school in Philadelphia where he graduated top of his class, and won Pennsylvania awards for musicianship and was head chorister at his professional church choir. He is also now an award winning pianist and composer. His creativity was saved at MFS by Ed Robertson and Rich Marcucci - just wonderful artists and musicians. Other than that no one else seemed to care about his level of musicianship. During his junior year we asked for specific help about applying to creative and performing arts schools. During College admissions night, the guidance counselors admitted to us they had no process in place for developing our creative students' porfolios. After checking with Westtown School, Friends Central, Friends Select and Germantown Friends, we realized that MFS was really lacking in their ability to help our creative children. After spending $16,000 a year on our son's high school education we were truly disappointed in MFS's lack of help for our creative child and also their lack of folow up after the college admissions night. They really had no idea how to treat college applications for creative students. They only seemed to are about Ivy League level students and had no interest in their creative students. We would truly like to know whether things have changed. If not, I will continue to recommend Moorestown High School or one of the Philadelphia Friends Schools if parents have a creative child and live in this area. Renee Jones

Very pleased with the information they cover and things my kids experienced and learned. They never if rarely came home with bad attitudes or acted not taken care of. I would say they were always excited and loved attending. My two boys attended from pre-k 2 to 5 (and kindergarten when they had it). Now a few years later, we are back and I am bringing my 3rd son- starting in the 2yr-old room. So excited!

My son never wanted to leave. I had to drag him out for the first few weeks!! As the other poster listed, my son did not come home with pink eye or anything like that. He did get a virus, but who knows how he got it, even though other kids had it too. Even with all that hand washing, some stuff is just unavoidable. He was out for a week with it - if anyone remembers that winter of December 2012, that virus ran over everyone in its path! I recommend this daycare/preschool to everyone I know that works or lives nearby. If I didn't live so far away now, my daughter would be going there right now!
