They took me right in the following day and swiftly and professionally examine my tooth and gave me very easy to understand information so that I can make a decision. I felt confident the doctor knew exactly what he was talking about. I took his advice to see I oral surgeon close to his office and they were equally great in resolving my issue. The fees were affordable and the whole experience was happily pleasant.

Suzanne did a great job at my cleaning, explaining what she was doing, and always kept the conversation flowing. I had my cleaning done, then dr. Hinder came in to look at my x-rays. He said everything looked fine, there was just one tooth they're monitoring. All in all, it was a great experience.

So I call to make an appointment and I'm told new patients have to come in for two appointments almost back to back. Ok a little different but whatever. I also make sure to ask that they except my insurance. She says yes they do so wonderful I am a happy customer. The first visit is to be a very thorough visit with all kinds of photos and things that I have never done before. The second visit would be for the cleaning. Well the receptionist called me a few days before my visit and asked if I could stay for the cleaning. I was a bit confused as this was to happen on the 2nd visit but it wasn't a problem and I told her I could stay. I asked once again if they had checked with my insurance company and she said yes everything was good. So on the day of my appointment, I check in and then the office manager calls me back to her office. Weird. She lets me know that they are Out-of-Network and she is not sure how much will be covered by my insurance and how much I will owe. So I was not happy and it did not give me a good first impression or visit. I will say the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and apologized profusely was very nice and so was the dentist. I think the front office needs to be upfront and do a better job. Maybe this is their way of getting people in there and getting money. The jury is still out if I will go back. It will depend on when I receive my bill and see how much I owe.

Anyway, I've recently changed dental plans which opened me up to other dental practices and found Beach Family Dentistry pretty close from where we live. So far the experience have been really good. They were pretty good at keeping on time with appointments, the staff were really nice and the difference in service is night and day. There were no upsell, they were upfront about services not covered by insurance and I felt that they care about saving you teeth than just recommending services to earn money. If live at the beaches and you're a dentist, check this place out.

They told me no charge that today's services were covered by my insurance. My second appointment for the cleaning was not completely covered. I was told I needed a more advanced cleaning than what insurance covers. When I came back they used this water blaster device to clean under my gums and did the normal scraping and polishing. The entire cleaning didn't last 15 minutes. I was very suspect of the quality of service. When I left there I didn't feel that my teeth were cleaned very well - unlike the feeing I had after leaving my previous dentist. About a month later I received an invoice from them for the x-rays. When I called to inquire the woman who took my call was very rude, unwilling to resubmit the claim and hung up on me. I'm off to find another dentist. I would not recommend this place.

Dr Hashim went over my options for treatment and ways we can lessen my discomfort and stress. She explained thoroughly what needed to be done to bring my teeth back to a healthy state, while going over my X-rays. She is very thorough, professional and takes her time explaining. I was given a treatment plan for my deep scale cleanings, filling and crown with detailed itemization and options for payment. The pricing was fair for all I needed to have done and the woman presenting it answered all of my insurance questions. The star of the office for me is Raphael the hygienist, he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, felt safe and explained every detail of what he was going to do. He is truly an angel! I was immediately scheduled for my treatment and have already finished phase 1 with phase 2 being completed next week. I highly recommend this location.
