No one greeted me as I walked in, I spent some time perusing the store with no one coming and asking if they could help me find something. I actually DID want the assistance. There were three attendants at the store, two men and a lady. One of the men did not even acknowledge me and he was right there at the register. The gentleman with the shaved head was the only friendly one. I want to support local businesses but with that kind of "service," I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Instead of standing behind the product and providing a refund, the store refused to return my money and offered store credit instead ONLY BECAUSE I had paid in cash. What makes this even more weird is that I was told that if I had paid by card, a refund would have been available. Apparently, the method of payment matters more than the fact that the customer received a damaged product!!!!!!! No one informed me at the time of purchase that paying cash would effectively eliminate my ability to receive a refund if there was a problem. The store happily accepted my cash, charged sales tax, and completed the transaction, but when an issue arose, suddenly returning the money became impossible. The conversation with management, specifically with ADAM FOX was equally disappointing. Rather than focusing on my specific situation, I was given explanations involving other customers and unrelated return scenarios. My case had nothing to do with theirs. I was simply trying to resolve an issue involving a defective product. As a "goodwill gesture," I was offered a $25 gift certificate LOL. Offering store credit and coupons to someone who is already trying to get their money back for a problematic purchase completely misses the point, especially if it's $25........... Luxury fragrance retailers charge premium prices. With those prices should come premium customer service and accountability when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Based on how this situation was handled, I will not be shopping here again and cannot recommend this store to others.

But,I have had some not so great experiences in the past. This experience of not being welcoming helped me decide not to go to shul that night. The same is this is not the Judaism I was raised with. I hope someway to find a shul that is not political/is welcoming and caring again. That is not my experience here.
