We chose surgery to see if there was a blockage, and Dr. Vic was kind enough to come in on his day off. Unfortunately what they had found was (to far gone w/) pythiosis, There was nothing to save the dog, and it turned out to be a sad day. I cannot exspress Upmost kindness and support the staff showed us. The staff placed Willie in a lovely box to take him home in. We also received sympathy cards from the staff and Dr. Honey. After pickup I called and asked the clipper if nails could be cut shorter? Only a question. The next day we received a UPS envelope saying that they were removing our animals from the practice and go elsewhere. I was devastated. The groomer had my animals kicked out over a question. This is unbelievable! In all those years I have never had a problem with anyone there! Very unprofessional!

Earlier this week I received a heartwarming card from Dr. St, Pierre and the staff and today they gave me a beautiful clay paw print of our sweet Mia, an unexpected and deeply meaningful keepsake. These kinds of gestures really show how much they care about the animals and the families who cherish them. Instead, I was treated rudely, my call was disconnected without explanation, and I was left feeling dismissed and upset. When I later spoke with the manager, Nicole, I was told that she had listened to the recording and that I had been "out of line." I strongly disagree with that characterization. I was not rude or disrespectful. I was a concerned pet owner trying to get help for my animal. What is most upsetting is that it felt like there was more interest in arguing with me than in focusing on getting care for my pet. The entire situation felt unnecessary and petty. A simple conversation and an appointment could have resolved everything. I left the interaction feeling as though Nicole was trying to punish me over a disagreement rather than help my dog, and unfortunately, the one who suffered from that approach was my pet. Pet owners call veterinarians because they are worried about their animals and need help, not to be made to feel like an inconvenience or to be put in the middle of an argument. Because of how I was treated, I will be taking my pets elsewhere and have requested to end my relationship with this hospital. Beware: If you are looking for compassionate, customer-focused care during a stressful situation with your pet, this was not my experience.

Our dog always gets a little wash and trim, she never gets matted and is the sweetest gentle dog ever. Dez is a groomer at this location who completely shaved off our dogs entire coat when we asked for a trim!! You can see down to her pink bare skin it looks so painful. Her double coat is for her health it should never be shaved down. Our family is so upset and will not be returning or recommending this groomer. Now she can't enjoy the sun outside, play outside, or go on walks because the sun will harm her. If you do not know how to work with Samoyeds, just say so!!!

Pros: 1) We used the "save your spot" feature on the website to lock in a time - it's not a reservation but it helps so you aren't sitting there for hours waiting to be seen - this worked really well and I highly recommend it. We were seen promptly 2) The vet tech and the vet were all very nice and were able to answer any questions we had 3) I feel like our dog got good care 4) They are very clear about the costs and services - they give you a printed sheet outlining the exact costs and you can talk to them about what is really necessary, etc. You need to sign the estimate before they move forward Cons: 1) My main issue is just pricing - this place is really expensive. For an x-ray, exam and 1 take home medicine it was over $500. They recommended an additional medication and bloodwork (to make sure she didn't have any issues that would make it unsafe to take the medication) but that would have added another $300+. I just couldn't justify that. We have a follow up appointment next week, when our vet is back. But, I'm happy she was able to be seen and she has medication to hold us over until we get to our vet. I wanted to make sure she didn't have any broken bones and we were able to figure that out and get her some pain medication.
