PROS: so far, he seems to know what he's doing, somewhat arrogant, seems annoyed most of the time CONS: he DOES NOT give scripts for durable medical equipment (DME); I needed a knee scooter or walker after my bunionectomy so my insurance recommended that I call my PCP, Luis Delgado, MD, and get a script from him eventhough it's not his responsibility. The insurance recommended this! So, I did. Luis Delgado staff member, Ramiro de Leon, was very professional and compassionate and immediately wrote a prescription. read more

We took our dad to see this so called doctor a perfect example that a degree doesn't define a persons education. Ever since we got there the receptionists looked miserable no manners at all nurses looked stressed after seeing the doctor then I realized why. This man took 1 minute to cut my dads nails my dad being a diabetic and previously being in the hospital with foot surgery waited so long to see this doctor who took 1 minute to cut his nails didn't bother to check for ingrown nails and did a horrible job. It seemed like if a 2 yr old was cutting his nails. This so called doctor is only there for the money doesn't have love for his patients and for what he does. I will never be taking my father there again it was a horrible experienc. read more

I attempted to give Dr Quach feedback on problems I was experiencing with his staff and he exploded. He was rude and unprofessional. In fact he told me to shut up, he didn't want to hear anything from me and he wished I would not come back again. Used to go to Dr Neller who was in this building and I really liked him. Then he retired and when I called to make an appointment they told me that Dr Neller had retired but Dr Quach was taking over. I thought they were joking (Dr Quack) and when I found out that they were indeed serious.....I found another Dr. As I told them...How can I be going to a Dr Quack? haha. Really...he should change his name or at least go incognito! haha Could be a great Dr but who knows....with a name like that? Thats like a Dr Fastsow being a dietician. haha read more

Worst bedside manner! Rude and arrogant, couldn't get a word in to explain symptoms. Persciption never made it to the pharmacy. We paid $170 for a shot and the same diagnosis for my 16 years and my husband. Never again! Don't waste your time and money read more

Dr Quach was so extremely knowledgeable and patient in listening to me. He explained the procedure I needed with much thoughtfulness and clarity. He went on to explain why my toes and feet are the way they are and gave excellent recommendations. His staff was friendly yet professional, and an aura of happiness pervaded his office. Dr. Quach is wonderful! He is compassionate and caring. I really do believe he cares for all of his patients and that they get better. I was not able to tolerate the pain on my foot, but after his care, I feel so much better. I can't say enough about how much he has helped me! Overall experience is a 1/5. Starting out with the positives, everyone at both the McAllen and Weslaco offices are courteous. However, kindness didn't fix my 3 month old baby girl with her ingrown toenail. I had to come back for a second visit for the same issue 4 days later. Now a week and a half has passed, her toe is extremely red again. Dr. Quach's staff said they would send a prescription in to Walmart but never did. They want to see my daughter again for the SAME issue, but bill the insurance again (for the third time). Very unsatisfied and worse then that, my daughter is still suffering. read more

My mother has 4 heel spurs and was recommended to this podiatrist by her family doctor. I accompanied my Mom and we visited with Dr Quach's associate, Dr. Renee Rodriguez. Kind lady; she explained exercises that could be done and gave my mom a steroid shot in one of her heels to ease the swelling. The second visit was with Dr. Quach. He was kind, but a little short with my mom, ordering complete bedrest with no shower or bathroom use (HUH?). She did complete bedrest, but did take a 5 minute shower and she had to use the toilet throughout the day. Third visit - I could no go with my Mom, but she took my niece. The doctor berated her; explained that her cardiologist, her vascular doctor and therapist and her rheumatologist did not know what they were doing and they were prescribing her all the wrong medication; this was causing the heel spur pain and swelling. Again, another shot and he required the same complete bedrest. My mom left the office crying. My mom did as told, but did take a quick shower and had to use the toilet throughout the day. At the next visit with her family doctor, my mom explained what had happened and the family doctor stated, "you are not the only one. We have had many, many complaints about the doctor's bedside manner." THEN WHY CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND HIM (but that is a different story). Please do not visit with podiatrist - rude and he talks down to elderly patients. She was not cured and we are looking for another podiatrist. read more
