Stopped in for a drink and to listen to music was a nice spot to chill. Service was quick and the drinks were good. We didn't have any food but the menu looked great. For live music this is definitely the spot.

Such a fun place! Quick service at the bar. Quick food service - had the fried pickles which were not overly fried or salty. The Leland Brothers band were very energetic which caused a great dancing environment. Heading back in a couple of days before I have to depart the city.

The live music as we walked past is what initially drew us in. There was no cover to get in which was nice especially because the bar across the street was charging a $30 pp cover! Anyhow, the music was great! This bar had two sides to it, one with a dj and the other with live music. Both were fantastic! The bar tenders were attentive and had amazing hearing especially with how loud it was lol. We met a fantastic couple and shared great conversation! A time was had!! The prices were decent and the music was great all night long! We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Such a fun place! They have really good drinks, good variety. I love the frozen Jack and coke. They have the classic lager bomb and basic Jack and coke, strong and good prices. I haven't had many of their fruity drinks but will be getting those next time. Pretty venue with great music, good hangout spot on I-drive! Quick service too didn't have to wait long on our drinks, nice people.

Another good spot for local talent. Good service, open air, inside/outside seating, decent food. Fun spot.

Cool place on the corner. Prices are like most places, $15 a person no matter what you get. Food was good overall. I do wish the hamburger bun was a better quality. The smash burger was good but could have been a bit more crispy. No problem coming back and trying something else. Was that a "bread and butter pickle" on the burger? Not a good surprise. Dude this is a cool place but at 7pm on a Wednesday, 7 employees shouldn't be hiding at 1 end of the bar peaking around the corner and not talking to customers- Food looks mid, music isn't bad but the staff looks like they are more interested in gossiping and staring at people vs making money and giving a great experience

Service, food and drinks were awesome! They had live music and a good portion size and prices. Only complaint was the menus and some things looked like they needed to be cleaned. Otherwise a good spot to go to for classic American food, beer and live music. Bartender was awesome and attentive.

Great location and walkable to many other places in the surrounding area. Loved the live music and ambiance of the place. They also have patio seating. Bartender was quick and attentive. Food was only average, but guess this to be expected since it is a bar/live music place. I enjoyed the cauliflower bites.

I've been here three times and the service is hit and miss. It depends on what time of the day you come, but on a busy night, you have to wait a little bit for your service. Staff was friendly and they try their best. The food was mediocre fried and nothing special. The saving grace is the entertainment. They always have a good music especially on a weekend night and the crowd is always engaged.

We were here on Thanksgiving and there was no wait to get in at 8:30pm. My husband sat in the patio area since they would not let me in with a drink from another restaurant and he was really hungry. I was able to stand at his table from over the fence until I finished my drink. They check men with a wand metal detector going in. They don't seem to check women. They may check purses, but I don't carry one. They had live music and the musician was really good. It was pop country type music. If it's like the one in Charlotte, they have different styles of music on different nights. It just depends on the band that's playing. Our waitress was really busy, so service was not fast. I ended up going to the bar myself and ordering a drink. Someone else brought my husband's wrap out from the kitchen. Our waitress didn't come back until we were finished. They were probably understaffed because of the holiday. I didn't mind going to the bar to order my own drink. They also will take food orders at the bar, in case you run into slow service. With the open bar area you can easily hear the music from the sidewalk. I think they might have an age restriction after a certain time. So if you're at ICON Park with children, you can still listen to the music from outside.

Tin Roof is located in a bustling entertainment center, so with plenty of places to eat nearby they add some flair to draw you in. That flair? A laid back music venue with great drinks! The chicken tenders were cooked to juicy perfection, but will say that Nashville sauce was a bit of a let down. Essentially just a cup of not very spicy oil. However, the drinks and the service made out for a pretty fantastic afternoon on the patio. With plenty to look at as you sit and chat, it's easy to spend a lot longer here than you meant to! Would certainly recommend to anyone in the area looking to chill out.

Posting a review so you can see the happy hour menu with $3 drafts and well drinks etc. I think it also said half off apps. There's live music a lot and karaoke.

The food is consistently amazing. Highly recommend the BBQ shrimp, the wood fired oysters (the chili butter is seriously addicting), and the Gumbo Ya-Ya. I really wanted to like this place but it was a swing and a miss. Parking was easy during the Saturday afternoon we visited. On busier occasions, they do offer valet parking. Nearby businesses share parking so if it's a peak time, you may have to walk a little to the door. Not a long wait before we were seated. Spacious with tables and booth seating. There is a bar and televisions here. Our hostess was nice and offered insight into the menu. For the appetizers, we started with oysters Rockefeller, and fried gator tail. It's a red flag when places smother items in a sauce instead of letting it stand on it's own. No complaints on the oysters and the gator tail was given previously frozen vibes. For the entree, I got the shrimp po' boy. The bread was hearty and held onto the six lil shrimp that they felt were enough. When the ratio of shrimp, bread and topping aren't portioned right, you end up with gaps of the flavor when you're eating. What sent me is the shrimp weren't properly deveined. If you took a biology class, you know that black line running along the back is the shrimp's waste system. I'm not eating that. The hostess saw me just sitting there looking at my food and asked if I wanted something different. Hard pass. Even the waffle fries were bad. They weren't piping hot and dried out inside. I made due with the sweet tea which they did well with. The manager came by and offered to remake or replace my meal. I appreciate his efforts but I didn't want anything at that point. The bathrooms were clean. Nice enough people but the kitchen didn't get it right.

There are three different choices for seating. A hightop near the bar, regular tables at the bar, sitting at the bar, or sitting at a regular umbrella table by the pool. I guess that makes four options. I chose a high top. The menus are already on the tables and I was quickly seated and greeted by my waitress who asked what I wanted to drink and I ordered a club soda with lime. Yeah variety of good options for appetizers and meals ranging from a hummus salad to burgers to tacos and three kinds of fries including regular potato fries, sweet potato fries, and yucca fries. I opted for the shrimp tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and quite yummy. The tacos were not great but not awful and came with a green sauce that was pretty tasty. The tacos are included in the order so it made for a decent sized meal. I was surprised when I received the check to find out that they had charged me six dollars for my club soda. Every restaurant I have ever been to has never charge me for a club soda. So they not only charged me for it but charged me twice because I got a refill. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said it is categorized as a soda but after some discussion she removed one of the charges. So I still had to pay three dollars for a club soda. If you're in the hotel and looking for some quick bite that are a decent meal or hanging out by the pool this is a worthwhile option.

The menu read great and we were excited to try this place since we love Jamaican Food. Was not easy to make a reservation - had to call Universal main line and choose from options. However, once we got a person, the reservation process was easy and pleasant. We informed the person taking the reservation that this was our first time visiting the restaurant so we expected a nice table - I assume they want repeat business. But instead we were seated right in front of the live band and it was so loud, we couldn't talk at all. The funny thing was that the restaurant was barely half full! Our waiter also had a tough time hearing us so we had to corret our orders a couple of times. They ran out of beef patties:-( that day. We decide to order some appetizers and a couple of entrees and shared. We had the Buffalo Soldier Jerk Wings - Had a nice spice to it and was quite delicious. We also hd the Jerk Caulifolower bites - a little sweet and spicy sauce and we all agreed this was the best dish we had! We had the Curried Goat stew - a weak curry and did not really have any spice to it. The Reggae Jamaican Jerk Chicken had a sweet spice and sticky sauce - next best dish we had. We also ordered the Coco bread- which was disappointing andd I do not recommend. It was just bread with some butter in it and definitely overpriced for what you got! Cocktails were rather weak. Server was just OK. He wasn't very attentive and did nothing to make our visit great.
