Finding a decent and affordable sitdown restaurant in a touristy destination like City Walk is like winning the lottory! So glad that my friends and I randomly decided to eat here. Looking around at other people's plates, the food looked super good and filling. I just went with the burger and was pleased. I believe our server's name was Angel, and she was wonderful. And the ambiance was that of a casual steak house and was great for people watching. My buddy forgot his crossbody and because I put my number down for our reservation, the restaurant was able to text us and alert us. Super grateful for that.

The food was great bbq flat bread and the bbq nachos and cheese. My wife had the mussels and my daughter the chicken finger. Patric our server was exceptional can't wait to go back.

The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked! Might be a bit pricey here, but it is worth it. We also got the Premium Angus Ribeye Steak along with the Gorgonzola Truffle Butter (which I felt they should offer a smaller half size for half the price) and it was so good! My friend got the brussel sprouts, and a baked potato and the potato was huge! I did get the Raspberry Lemonade too and it was a refreshing drink. The ambience of this place makes me think of a restaurant you might find at a ski lodge, though this FL girl has never been. Just with the smell of wood in the air is so nice. We had a great server who checked in on us often, that was great service! I would definitely go back.

Stopped in for dinner after a day at epic universe and it was such a good experience. I am vegetarian so we stopped in for the plant based steak. Best steak I've ever had! We also started with the Brussels sprouts... phenomenal. Ended the meal with a peach cobbler that melted in my mouth. Really good service as well, our waiter Keith was kind and attentive. We will be coming back and bringing friends!!

Pros: great service, great food, great setting Cons: salmon was mid We had an amazing time here! I don't usually give out five stars, so this is a big deal for me. Right off the bat our server, Rebekah, was FANTASTIC. Could not recommend her enough. We had reservations at 7pm, and they sat us right around that time! We got two Hugo spritz's which were delicious, the fondue and butternut squash soup to start. Everything was super delicious, we never stopped and thought "where is our food", and Rebekah checked on us multiple times throughout the meal. For the main dish we had the vegan steak and the salmon. The vegan steak is to die for. It's sooo yummy, and doesn't feel like you are eating veggies at all. The salmon wasn't anything special, but it was still good enough that we ate it all! The sauce they put it in was very good. We had the s'mores for dessert which was such a fun experience. And we ordered two more spritz's. Even after our check was paid we didn't feel rushed at all, and we got to finish our drinks in peace. The place itself was super cute. We sat in an area looking outside which was nice. It didn't feel super crowded or packed together. I didn't see any booths which was fine, but we usually prefer a booth over normal seating. The food was all delicious, our server was hands down the best server I've had at universal, and overall the experience was such a good way to end our day! I would 100% come here again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice dinner out in citywalk!

Here for a friend's birthday about early February! We got seated fairly quickly but I think my friend has the reservation for that! The menu is fairly high price and the receptionist is very friendly. However the server is a little disappointed to us. But anyway, I ordered a salad and a drink. It was ok. The restaurant is clean and well decorated but I felt like it is more for the tourist than my liking!

Another great dinner at Bigfire. This time we were seated in the main downstairs area and it was a busy night. We frequently had people squeezing in between our table and the other ones next to us. I would recommend requesting to sit upstairs. They have some cool seating where you can look over the edge. Our food was delicious, as always, and perfectly cooked. I don't generally like carrots, but these were really good. I had to try my husband's fries, for research purposes, and those were nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, hot and fresh.

We grabbed a drink and an appetizer at the Bigfire Bar after leaving a day at Universal and it was the perfect spot! My husband and I each got a cocktail and then we shared the Bourbon Cheese Fondue which was the perfect thing to split. Next time we will have to try an entree!

So yummy! 4 of us had dinner here on Jan the 2nd We ordered the Brussel sprouts and smoked trout dip for appetizers. They were both very delicious!! Brussel Sprouts were cooked perfectly and hit the spot. The smoked trout is delicious! Perfect amount of smoking on a dip made of smoked trout. It's served with crackers and it's wonderful! My wife and daughter ordered the Salmon and loved it! Generous piece of grilled salmon perfectly done was so delicious! I had the short rib and it was yummy! Tender smoked short rib covered with a tangy bbq sauce. Very tender and yummy! My son had the mussel appetizer along with a side of mac n cheese. He loved it! Mussels perfectly cooked served with a cheesy Mac n cheese covered with smoked pulled pork. He loved it! Please see the pictures below and let your eyes do some feasting!

I got ribeye and a drink. Everything was good. The steak was of good quality but nothing special. At this price point, it's okay. Service is great. They mentioned it could take 30-45 minutes for the steak to come so keep that in mind. The ambiance is loud but nice.

Came in here to have a drink and to avoid the crowds at the Universal buses. We sat at the bar because the wait for a table was a little longer than we would have liked. We had been hoping to sit outside, but they closed that area up for the night as we were arriving. We ordered two drinks and muscles. My husband loved the muscles and devoured them. I got a non alcoholic drink, which I think was the blackberry breeze, that was pretty good. My husband got the PB&J, which was very much alcoholic! The bartender that got our drinks and took our order was very nice.

Recommended by a friend, I made a reservation at Bigfire during a recent trip to Universal for a conference. Unfortunately, this ended up being a one-and-done experience for me. Like many of the restaurants at CityWalk, it just didn't deliver. We started with the fondue appetizer, which was good overall, but still a little lacking in flavor. Decent, but nothing memorable. I also ordered the corn bisque to start, and that was a definite miss. The popcorn was odd and completely unnecessary, and the soup itself was bland almost reminiscent of baby food. Terribly under-seasoned. For my main course, I chose the bone-in short rib. The portion was shockingly small for the price less than the size of a deck of cards. The meat was tender and could have been flavorful, but the cold, unpleasant BBQ sauce on top completely ruined it. It was served with an ear of corn that was shriveled, overcooked, and cold, along with a piece of jalapeño cornbread so hard you couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. Overall, Bigfire was a big miss for me.

    Pork Mac and cheese

Bigfire was a fantastic steakhouse we ate at while in Universal studios. Highly recommend making a reservation so you don't need to wait for too long. We sat upstairs and had a whole view of the entire restaurant. Rebekah was our awesome server. We started with the wedge salad since I had been craving one! It came with avocado, red onions, tomatoes, egg, bacon, blue cheese dressing. Each and every ingredient was extremely fresh and delicious. I got my bacon bits on the side. Bigfire is unique in that they enhance their flavor by using live fire and two types of wood for the taste of the meat. We ordered the 14 oz ribeye and the bone in short rib along with the Pork Mac and cheese. My mouth is seriously watering thinking about how delicious and flavorful it all was!!! The bone in short rib was Carolina barbecue style served with grilled corn on the cob, vine tomatoes, cipollini onions, spicy maple glazed jalapeño and cornbread. It actually melted in our mouths and was falling apart with each move of our fork. The ribeye came with asparagus and chimichurri sauce on top. The meats were so incredibly tasty. For dessert, we got the Rocky Road Baked Alaska which came with chocolate ice cream, toasted marshmallows, caramel praline crust, huckleberry core, meringue, and was torched tableside which was fun to witness!! Overall 10/10 experience!!! A must go to steakhouse in universal for sure.

It was just good top to bottom. The menu was diverse enough for all tastes. There was a good variety of steaks, italian, etc. I ended going with the Alfredo, which was absolutely delicious, but I knew I should have went for a dish with more red sauce. The Alfredo sauce was incredible, albeit a little watery. The picture may not show it well, but there was a scoop of it right on top of the chicken, and it was really good. Next time that's what I'm having. The bread and butter were mind blowing though. Something about a garlic butter on a warm piece of bread is so incredibly hard to beat. I visited Del Frisco's with some colleagues, some of which were extremely enthusiastic about this…read morerestaurant. It's clear the staff takes their work very seriously - hearing about the specials almost felt like a sales pitch - and the atmosphere is meant to be upscale and well executed. I recognize that as a vegetarian, I am nowhere near the target market for this menu. That being said, I found my entree and the bar's available ingredients lackluster, but the sides and dessert were delicious. The bread, glossed with butter and very fluffy, was divine. The waiter took my drink order, I asked for some options for a cocktail that were off menu that he'd have to check on, then the rest of my table got their drinks 15 minutes later, and I was told what I ordered wasn't possible. Not sure why drinks took so long or why I wasn't notified sooner, as this made our pacing a little odd. I ordered a blood orange heavy cocktail off the surprisingly short menu, and it was just ok - not a mix of flavors I'd normally go for, and very punchy. The greenery sprig was a visually appealing touch though, although it was a bit heavy handed on my neighbor's drink. My salad was yummy, with an interesting addition of potato chip like curls. The red wine that was ordered for the table was one of the best red wines I've ever had, very enjoyable, and I never normally like reds. The wine selection seems vast here - the menu is a true binder - and some options go over $2k for a bottle, so even the most extravagant tastes will find something they like here. My waiter gave me the tiniest bit of attitude upon finding out I was a vegetarian. Listen, sir, I didn't pick the restaurant, I know I don't belong here - yeesh. He did inform me that a cauliflower steak option was available, which I took him up on, but it was not listed on the menu anywhere. They should really add it to be more inclusive of all types of diets - it's 2026, you need to offer an entree that isn't meat, even if you're a steak and seafood restaurant. I'm never really that impressed with a cauliflower steak from anywhere, but this was one of the most bland I've ever had. It wasn't filling and the sauce had barely any salt or flavor to it - very lackluster. The desserts were amazing - I forget what we ordered other than the Creme Brulee topped with macarons and Butter Cake (OMG! WOW!), but everything I tried was yummy. It was a pretty busy spring Thursday night when I visited, but everything seemed to take quite a while to come out. A friend was dining separately at another table, and when we bumped into each other in the bathroom while waiting for apps, we both remarked on how long it was taking for food and drinks to come out. The atmosphere was also a bit chaotic - we had to wait in a cramped, awkward entry hallway for 10 minutes past our reservation time, which was a weird way to start the dining experience- they need a better waiting area. It was also very loud in here, which is not what I'd expect for such an upscale place - I could barely hear people across the table from me. It cheapened the overall feel. The price points are certainly impressive if you're wanting to come here to impress a date or business partner. Some bits were excellent, but the entree fell short for me. If you're getting what they specialize in, you'll probably have a better experience, but you'll also be waiting quite a while. I feel like the only person I know that isn't raving about this place, and although it puts on quite the show, there's some room for improvement. I WILL be dreaming about that bread and the salad's potato curls, though....
