Short story: I contacted her several times regarding her Groupon, while her Groupon offer was active. The last time I contacted her was yesterday morning. She decides to only get back to me today to let me know that she stopped the Groupon yesterday and isn't willing to redeem the coupon despite the fact that I tried contacting her about it well before it had "expired". I made the mistake of going to a local salon to get my Brazilian wax done and it was for sure not worth it. I remember the last time I had gotten a Brazilian done at Beauty Queen, it was the BEST BRAZILIAN WAX I had ever received. So of course I had to call Beauty Queen and she squeezed me in, no problem. Just like that last time I remember, Christina did a phenomenal job, NO PAIN, in and out in LESS than 30 MIN and it looked amazing (and I've been getting waxed for years now, so I can compare the difference!). I've been going to Christina for 2 years now and have zero plans of going anywhere else. I was referred to Christina by a friend for lash extentions. Previously I had seen 3 other lash techs. One was very inexpensive ($50), another was competitively priced ($220) and another (eye candy) was insanely over priced ($350-400). Out of all the techs I saw, Christina's price matched and exceeded the craftsmanship one would and should expect for this service. Even at times I feel she should charge more for her services since a lot of lash techs charge more for the services she offers. I have been very happy with all my services I have received (lashes & waxing) throughout my continued time with her. Her waxing is fast, as painless as possible and very clean! Her eyebrow sculpting is flawless and she will even fill them in for you if time allows (which is good for me since my brows are sparse and I don't like to be in public without my brows). Leg waxes and underarm waxes are fast and thorough. You couldn't ask for more in a waxing service,......well, maybe a wax and a mimosa, haha j/k My lash extension services have surpassed all my other experiences. The lashes are "packed" in there with minimal glue showing (I've had places where the glue is very visible) and fanned out to create wonderful volume! The nice thing is that if you are looking for natural options instead of a super dramatic look that's available too. I like the dramatic look for me personally. I usually do black lashes, but sometimes she adds colors like purple and green for fun! So colored lashes are available in a wide variety of colors (this is a new cool option that wasn't available at the other places). I generally baby my lashes by brushing them and not getting them wet so I only need fills about once a month. Much better than the cheap place I used to go to where I had to go every 2 weeks! You get what you pay for. Service times are fast and efficient. As a testament to Christina's customer service, I once got my lashes filled and for whatever reason, I must have went through a shedding phase or something happened (one time occurence) where almost all my lashes came off. I texted Christina immediately because I had no idea if it was something I did wrong. She said no worries come in in 2 days and she'll fix them for free. I went in and she fixed them and I never had an issue since. A total freak accident. It's nice to receive this level of customer service where other places will charge you half the service or even blame you for doing something wrong, refusing to redo your service. Nope, didn't matter, she moved past that and went straight to making me the client happy. Amazing. As a fellow aesthetician and hair stylist, I greatly appreciate Christina's attention to detail, customer service, skill level and flexibility.
