No joke, last month I got a full balayage and some face framing layers, and within an hour of leaving my appointment, running errands, three strangers stopped me and asked me where I went for my hair/commented on how amazing it looked. Finally, you will not find someone with more flexibility on timing - she is beyond accommodating with her hours which is amazing for people with crazy work schedules. Do you have a stylist that will meet you at the crack of dawn for a quick, 5:30AM partial balayage before you go to work? I doubt it. Could not recommend Balayage by Linet (and Chelsi) more!

I called to make an appointment with Soonie for a cut and blowout. Grace, the manager, made the…read moreappointment and informed me that all women's cuts come with a blowout so in the future I could simply request a women's cut. This information was confirmed when I called to reschedule I mentioned I wanted to reschedule my cut and blowout and Grace repeated that a blowout automatically comes with a women's cut. On the day of my appointment I arrived 20 minutes early but Soonie was 20 minutes late. While I waited I saw women leaving the salon with sleek, straight hair and I was excited to begin my appointment. When my appointment started I explained to Soonie how I wanted my hair cut and then asked for her input. I always do this because I value a professional's perspective and even when I don't ask stylists typically offer guidance. When I told her she was the professional and asked for her opinion she replied that I'd had enough haircuts to know what I wanted so she had nothing to add. When she began cutting my hair I told her I wanted a center part. My part was crooked from the wash and my hair hadn't been brushed afterward. She said it didn't matter and left it crooked while cutting. Stylists always ask where I part my hair and use a comb to part it properly but she did not. When she finished the cut she took out a diffuser and began diffusing my curls. I told her I wanted a blowout. She insisted I keep my hair curly and I explained that I specifically booked a blowout with my cut. She then put me under a dryer and told me my hair needed to be 80% dry before a blowout. I told her I wanted sleek, straight hair and she said it would be. After about five minutes she came back and proceeded to fully air dry my curls with a blow dryer before attempting the blowout. She never used a round brush she simply pulled my hair taut. I could see the frizz immediately and she could tell I was upset. At one point she told me she "could feel me sweating." She didn't section my hair and it was going in every direction. I tried helping by holding sections but she said it was okay even though it clearly wasn't. She continued making a bigger mess of my hair as she "worked." I watched women with beautiful, sleek hair walk past me in the mirror while my hair looked like a tangled messy bird's nest. My hair came out frizzy with waves and dents so she took out a flat iron and began flat ironing the frizzy hair and causing constant snagging. I've never had a stylist flat iron my hair after a blowout and I was surprised again. Her unrelenting conversation was about how I must be very good at blowing out my own hair, how I needed a trim every month and a half and then she drifted into awkward stories about when she first started working. All the while my hair looked nothing like a professional blowout certainly nothing like Cristophe of Beverly Hills. It felt more like a child playing hairdressing. I was stunned when she said she was done. I told her I would need to go over my hair at home because this was not how my hair should look. She simply said, "Okay, good." I was shocked she was comfortable letting me leave like that. This wasn't my first haircut or my first blowout. I know how a proper result should look. I even watched her give the woman before me a blowout and she took her time with a round brush and used pins. It says a lot when someone can only blow out straight hair. For Cristophe's reputation this was unacceptable. For someone advertised as a "master stylist," Soonie's work was atrocious. Her work looked like that of a beginner and I felt like she was practicing on me. I was deeply disappointed by her unprofessionalism and her bizarre uncomfortable conversations. She said she likes cutting but doesn't like blow drying. I wish that if she at least liked cutting she would've done an exceptional job there but the cut itself is ridiculously basic and she missed a section leaving the front uneven on one side. I go several months between cuts but not with this one. I need another cut immediately. I'm used to leaving salons with glamorous, bouncy, flowing hair that turns heads. Instead my cut with Soonie is heavy, has no movement and looks like a wig. She knew this would happen and should have said something when I asked for her input and even if I hadn't asked a professional should offer guidance. I cannot believe I specifically asked for her opinion and she refused. When I went to pay I was charged $200. I was stunned she had the audacity to send me out with frizzy, dented hair and waves at the roots and still charge me $200. I told the person at the front desk that I was very upset and she agreed my hair was messy and unkempt. She gave me the names of three other stylists who she said were good at blowouts and added that they were master stylists. I told her that according to the website so is Soonie.

While chatting with Celina at the start of the appointment, I mentioned to her that my natural nails had become weak after repeatedly getting temporary nail extensions at another salon. Celina suggested that we could try a luminary hard gel overlay on my natural nails for long-lasting strength (~1 month) and nail growth without the need for gel-x/tips. No other nail technician had ever mentioned this as an option, and I am so happy with how it turned out! As someone who always had extensions, I've never seen my natural nails look so good in my life! Not only do they look great, but they also feel so strong, and I don't have to worry about them breaking. Celina is super detail-oriented and it's obvious that she cares a lot about her work and clients. On top of everything else, the polish options at this salon are beautiful. I have found that in many other salons, color options are overwhelming and laid out in a chaotic and overstimulating way. At Two Gemini Girls, polishes are grouped and organized not just by color, but also by color scheme/tone, which is such a better experience when choosing the perfect shade. 10/10!

Let me start off by saying that if you are looking for a true professional you can trust, be at ease with and possess the skill and talent that will no doubt exceed ALL your expectations- stop looking because Tina is definitely your girl!!! I live near Seattle WA. and needed someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding in Hidden Hills. My friend found Tina on Yelp and contacted her for me. Tina was easy going, super flexible and her prices were more than fair- especially compared to some other places I researched in the area. I was super anxious not being able to meet with her until the day before the wedding to do my trial. Fortunately, Tina kept in constant contact with me- always texting/calling me back and assuring me everything was going to be fine and that I was going to look perfect for my big day. Tina did my hair and makeup for my wedding day on May 4 in Las Vegas. She answered all of my questions leading up to the date via text and email. Always responsive. I sent her some hair/makeup inspiration pictures and she delivered the look I wanted-complete with luxurious mink lashes! I had a destination wedding, so I didn't have time for a makeup trial, but that didn't matter. She NAILED IT. I'm attaching a photo from that day, but pictures don't do her work justice. Her makeup lasted over 12 hours; some of those hours were with me in the very hot sun melting during the wedding photography. I was sweating, but my makeup didn't budge. She was on time and showed up to my hotel room and worked her magic. She is amazingly talented for her age and I very much recommend her!! I was looking for a make-up & hair stylist for an upcoming birthday party for two 14 year old teenagers. I asked Tina if she was able to do their makeup light & fresh because my girls don't wear makeup at all and I didn't want them to look overly done & their hair was a side ponytail with curls and just as I asked that is what Tina did. Their makeup was done beautifully, age appropriate and it lasted all night long just with normal minor touch up here n there cuz of all the dancing/sweating - lol! Amazing does not begin to describe her. She is very professional, sweet, and tries to make her clients feel comfortable. She recently did makeup and hair for my wedding party and me. Honestly, Sharon is so good at what she does, I don't even think I needed a trial because I absolutely loved what she did but it gave me peace of mind and reassurance. I told her all my concerns (oily skin, hair that doesn't hold curls, etc) and she made sure it was all addressed. I had SO many compliments after my trial and on wedding day. My hair normally doesn't hold a curl but I wanted cohesive waves and they held the entire night without making my hair feel stiff. She was perfectly on time too. Her arrival, set up and doing my mom's makeup, my sister's hair and makeup and then mine. She ended perfectly at the end time we aimed for too. I was also pretty nervous on wedding morning and getting my hair and makeup done was surprisingly soothing. I've never felt prettier in makeup than I did with Sharon's work. We finished in the allotted time and then I was on my way. I would recommend Jane for any occasion. Jane even followed up with me a few days later to see how my day went and if I was happy with the look she had styled. I would use Jane again for sure.

My fiancée at the time came back from the makeup trial and was very happy with her experience with Kelly. On the wedding day, the makeup was done really well but Kelly's rudeness ruined it for the bride, my sister (a bridesmaid) and the mother of the groom. My bride (now wife) told me how she pestered her about payment all day and even to the point of hovering next to her while peeing, 5 mins before walking to the alter. My sister, who was holding the wedding dress so the bride could go pee, had to tell her to back off. She even bothered my mom for payment even though she was late getting dressed. It wasn't until one of our wedding planner assistants caught her asking for money, and then pulling her aside to have a chat that she stopped. My wife remembers the wedding day as magical and perfect, but her one bad taste is Kelly. She does good makeup, but if you care about an experience, I wouldn't recommend her. Oh, and about the payment. I sent the payment to the address on the contract before the wedding. Turns out she forgot to check her old mailbox as she moved to a new location
