Part of great service in a business is consistency .. I came 2 weeks ago and loved my gel manicure and was charged $30 for it. I came back today expecting the same results and unfortunately that was not the case. I should of known better and ask for the same employee but I thought to myself, this place has been here for years- I'm sure all employees follow the same directions. Nope! Hated my manicure, the lady did not open a sanitized bag of tools. When I asked if those have been sanitized- she got an attitude. Also, I was charged $35 this time vs $30 from 2 weeks ago. I have tried a lot of nail salons in and around Boynton Beach, sometimes for convenience, and other times to see if I can save some money. I have only ever done walk-ins at Tina's and every single nail tech has held up to a very high standard and precision. I've realized it's better to pay a little more to have your nails done right, the way you like them, the first time! I've had regular pedis/manis, gel pedicure, Nexgen, and the services they provide are very consistent regardless of the nail tech. BEN is the very best and I make my appointments first with him - I also use Tony (also very good but different stylist) and also with Vivian who is solid. This is a very busy salon and it is clearly very popular in the community. Veevee is the very best at management of the front desk. She is also my EYEBROW specialist, but when Veevee is managing the Front desk it makes a huge difference to customers. This young woman is professional, courteous and efficient. Despite having an appointment this past Saturday, they were running almost 20 minutes behind. OK -I get it, it's probably the busiest time of the week for them. When I walked in and said, "hello," I got no reply greeting, just the typical, "pick a color!" However, when other patrons strolled in after me (and were taken care of before me mind you), they got a lovely greeting. These were obviously regulars. I get that you need to take care of your regulars, but what about your potential regulars? I got a powder polish -my first time ever! Tina's has a HUGE selection. I had a lot of trouble understanding the male technician who was doing my nails, but he was pleasant enough. He could have paid a bit more attention to my cuticles, but the polish job was pretty great. It's almost one week later, and there are no chips and barely any nail bed growth. Had an appointment at 10:00am with Maggy. I wanted chrome instead of saying she doesn't know how to do it she did it anyway and it looked horrible. I tell her it's not clean and she blames it on the chrome powder, mind u my nail had bubbles were thick and uneven. I tell the front desk lady need my nails redone but by a different person. Instead she has Maggy fix it again and instead she did this ombré look for me and one hand hat fat nails the other hand had slim nails. Finally the front desk girl gets another woman to fix my nails. I was in that nail salon from 10:00am-2:53pm. I will NEVER EVER COME BACK. Next time hire people who can actually do nails if they are not proficient in doing nexgen, putting tips, or acrylics, they should be assigned to just scrub Feet. read more

Love this place! I live around the area for many years and this salon is my favorite. They always do an amazing job with my Nexgen nails. The owner is always accommodating of her customers. So impressed! I made an appointment 2 days in advance, I got there early and told the woman at the counter and she said no problem and got me right in. I showed the tech, Rose I believe was her name, a picture of what I wanted and she said she could do what I requested which was a french manicure with a silver line of glitter just behind it and pink underneath. She quickly set me up to start my pedicure and I picked out an upgraded one which was wonderful. I loved the scrubs that was used it felt wonderful. I told her I was ticklish and she was more aggressive on the massage which helped a lot and made it way more comfortable for me! I asked about a manicure that would last and she recommended a gel manicure and explained how it will work. I was very impressed and agreed that is what I needed. I wanted the same style as my toes. She made sure to explain how to use the gel curing machine. I love how professional she kept it. There was some haughty women in there who were making the experience less pleasant with their complaining as soon as they walked in, but the work was perfect! I used to love this place but unfortunately I will not ever be returning. I was in the salon for over two hours and waited a hour just to get my pedicure. I booked the appointment well over in advance and if they were behind I think it would have been professional of them to mention that. Pedicure for me and my girl friend who was a first time client for her nails. They were busy I will say and I definitely understand things happen. I have been coming to Tina for years since 2010 and it pains me to say that I will NO longer be going back. I adore her as a person she is courteous when I walk in. I've waited numerous times before once I waited in a chair over 40 minutes for a fix 1 toe, but this last time I went I was not pleased. I really go there to have my eyebrows done and I get a little extra sometimes because I don't want to just go in for a wax. I was taken to the back which was fine the lady that took care of me was sweet but I hadn't had my eyebrows done in 2 month. I was specifically growing them out on purpose and once I got out from the chair I had only a thing line of eyebrows left. I WAS SO UPSET. You could see it in my face. I tipped and left quietly. I don't grow hair it's extremely thin it's been now 10 days (posted pictures of the day of the eyebrow waxing and now) and my eyebrows still look like a very thin line of hair. I am extremely upset and because of that I won't return. It even pains me to write a review but she needs to get better quality staff to assist the needs of their clientele. read more

I visit my family in Boynton about every six months, so my mom, sister, and I usually come here to treat ourselves to pedicures. On Saturday afternoons, I would recommend calling ahead and making an appointment. Some of the technicians are better than others, but overall you'll get a good pedi at a decent price. It's very affordable pampering. Additionally, in our family we buy a lot of gift certificates here for each other. You can purchase say a $25 gift certificate and a pedicure is $22. Because he is always busy I ended up with Tou which was great also but moved away. So my last appointment was by Tina's husband and four nails fell off in a week. Theu fixed one and then two more came off and since i cant spend all my time at a nail salon fixing mistakes i took them all off myself. Then when I went back today Ben talked me into an ombre (I wanted candy apple red color which they didnt have). So I agreed with a french ombre. After seeing him do it he tried to pull the white threw and left me with a frencg nail with a messy white line. We couldn't even manage to order the services of of their menu, and then when I asked them not to do certain things to my hands, feet or nails, they just completely ignored me and disregarded what I said. I've tried a few nail places in the West Palm Beach area and found Tina's to be the best for a regular pedicure and gel manicure (not NEXgen). Most important - for me - is they RESPECT appointments! I've been going here for years, they always do such a great job. However, recently they have added extra "add on" 5$ for nail shaping, $5 to take your previous gel polish off, 5$ for an accent nail. My $30 normal nail price was $45. My nails look amazing, I'm just not happy with the new add on prices. It also took over an hour and a half. read more
