A few days before my appointment, I contacted the owner directly to make sure they could do the **specific nail design and colors I wanted**. I sent him pictures of the design, and he confirmed that they could do it. I specifically asked again if they had the **dark navy blue cat-eye color with gold**, as well as the **chrome/cat-eye gold color for my pedicure**, because I did not want to arrive and be told they didn't have the colors or design--as unfortunately happened to my daughter at another appointment. The owner assured me everything was available and told me the service would take approximately **2 1/2 hours** for the manicure and pedicure. Based on that confirmation, I made the appointment and came prepared for the exact service we discussed. Unfortunately, when I arrived, **the owner was not there and apparently had not properly communicated my appointment, design, or requested colors to the staff**. There was also a significant language barrier, and no one initially understood exactly what I had discussed with him. I spent approximately **15 minutes with Celine trying to figure out together what I had requested**. I want to be very clear that **Celine was patient, kind, and did her best to help me**, and I appreciate her effort. My concern is not with her. My concern is with the **lack of communication and professionalism from the owner/management**. I don't come to a professional nail salon expecting a $10 eyebrow appointment. My services totaled **$227.55 including tip**, so I expect the communication and preparation to match the level of service and money being spent. If a customer sends pictures, confirms specific colors and designs in advance, and receives confirmation that the salon can provide them, that information should be communicated to the technician before the customer arrives. I am not someone who likes to negotiate over prices, and I am happy to pay for quality work. What I expect in return is **professionalism, preparation, good communication, and respect for my time**. Celine deserves recognition for being patient and trying to make the experience work. However, the way my appointment was handled by management was disappointing and could have been completely avoided with better communication. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously because the salon has the opportunity to provide a much better customer experience with better organization and communication.

I find that review unbelievable. I have been going to Pro Nails since they opened. I have never had any such thing happen. I wore gel nails and yes they are acrylic and completed with gel for quick drying and long lasting shine. Fills are in order like any other acrylic in about 10 to 14 days. I now wear gel polish all liquid gel now and love it. The owners are fair and fantastic people. The staff always professional. No complaints here. Spotless did I say that? Give them a kind visit, they are in the Publix plaza , don't be swayed away from the construction they are here and ready! Also their pedicure includes hot stone massage with the process, and they don't offer the tool that scrubs and removes excess skin from the bottom of your feet. I appreciated the care and time with cleaning the cuticles, they even extra sanitized everything before and during- a nice touch to keep clean and quality practice of care!

When I got there, I found out someone had apparently cancelled my appointment. Emily, my technician, felt awful that 5his happened and @said she would stay late if I could come at 6:30. I had no choice. Just (5:45) got a call from the new owner...no real apology, just excuses that she is the new owner and she wasn't there when I made the appointment. She then told me I needed to come in at 7:00. I explained my entire afternoon had been scheduled based on the 4:00 appointment, but I clearly have no options at this point. She offered no accommodation for my inconvenience, no apology for her staff screwing up... It's not like they are the only nail salon available to any of us. UPDATE- went over there for my 7:00 appt. The new owner then told me 7:15. When I politely questioned her, she started yelling at me that she was stressed , that it was impolite that I questioned her workers at the desk about the appointment that THEY cancelled without my knowledge and she has mental health issues and can't deal with this right now. I explained calmly that I was stressed as well, she then grabbed her service dog, again said she has mental health issues and threw me out of the salon. I hadn't raised my voice, I hadn't been disrespectful. All I wanted to get a mani/pedi before my vacation. In hindsight, I should have gone elsewhere at 4:00, but out of respect for Emily, I waited. This woman bought a business built on customer service. THIS IS NOT HOW A BUSINESS OWNER TREATS A CUSTOMER.
