HORRIBLE. I made an appt for this afternoon. I called back a couple hours before to verify the price because I had forgotten to ask, and she answered and then completely ignored me after she heard my question, though I could hear the loud tv in the background. Called back, no answer. Called a 3rd time a half hour later, and she answered again- AGAIN completely ignores me. Clearly she is rolling in money and doesn't want my business. I will happily oblige and never go here!

Tina is located in a mall of sorts, she has her own little room in this salon building. It's quaint and comfortable and what I loved the most, is it's all about you during your time. There isn't the typical chaos and puppy mill feeling you get at a lot of other places. Tina was so kind and did a fantastic job on my dip nails. So glad to have found her!

I like that she has her own shop (room). Won't be going any place else for my mani and pedis. She was wonderful; she made sure I was comfortable.

Tina was very professional, friendly and followed COVID and cleanliness protocols as I had hoped. Hubby and I enjoyed our pedicures and appreciated how much time she spent on our tough, cracked heels. I was given 100+ color options and I love that she uses polish made in America. We opted for the 2nd highest pedicure option ($30 and included stone massage & callus removal) and she offers payment by Zelle which was an convenient option. Finally! After years of wandering aimlessly and wondering if nail salon etiquette could get any worse, I booked an appointment with Tina. As a client with special needs (diabetic, severe neuropathy and in a wheelchair) I had all but given up on finding clean, quality nail care. I get that I am not easy, but even a girl on wheels ought to be able to get a pretty manicure, right? Tina works out of the Salon Boutique building in Surprise, where I already go for my fabulous silver head. I see Shamika at Glam Ave, and she is awesome. I'm rocking a short spiky do with purple and deep magenta highlights. So I called Tina and arranged to come in for a manicure just after my hairdo, and I'm so glad I did. She was able to take me an hour early, bonus! Her salon is on the small side, but with an impromptu furniture dance, I drove right in and showed her my shameful, broken nails. She had hundreds of colors available and I quickly picked a dip that sparkled and shined in blue, periwinkle and hot pink. She shaped my nails beautifully in short ovals, repaired one with a giant chip at the end, and very competently turned my sad hands into proper beauties. We had a friendly conversation the entire time, and she was eager to see if I could climb from my wheelchair onto one of her two pedicure thrones. That's for next time, of course, and I'm eager to try one of her specialty pedicures that offer a combination of upgrades and treatments. She also does waxing, so I'll get the unibrow shaped and divided, too. It was so good to be pampered and I can't wait to return for more girl time with Tina! read more

I would not recommend this place. I originally asked for Michael but was told he was not there and that I would be seen by Nick. I explained to the manager that I was very picky and needed someone who could do designs. He proceeded to say that I would be taken care of. I set my appointment for 6:00p. When I arrived a lady bought me some color swatches. I proceeded to ask her where was Nick. She did not have a clue what I was asking her because she did not understand a lick of English. The manager then proceeded to say he did but know I wanted a guy after he was the one who said Nick would be taking care of me. Well, Nick had left and there was no one who could do a design. Tina is amazing!! She was able to schedule me for the weekend, is very friendly, diabetic friendly manicure and pedicure where she did not cut my cuticles and her instruments are freshly opened and clean! She has a private room with two pedicure massage chairs perfect for couples! She has a large variety of colors. My manicure and pedicure came out fabulous! I had an appointment for noon today and put the address listed on yelp into my navigation. It took me to Vegas Nails so I went in and asked if they had changed their name because I had an appointment at Tina's Nails. They said no and that Tina doesn't work there anymore but that they had my pedicure chair ready. I was confused because I called yesterday to make the appointment and 24 hours later I am being told Tina is gone. Since they seemed to know what my appointment was for I sat down in the chair still very confused. I am giving a 5 star review because they were friendly although I didn't get to have my appointment with Tina. read more

I walked in to get a pedicure. The gal sat me down and gave me the menu to choose a pedicure. She kept telling me to do a more expensive pedicure than what I wanted. So, she goes over and talked to one of the guys then she comes back and she says he's going to do it for you. I'm sure she just didn't want to do it because I wasn't getting the expensive one, just a basic pedicure. Unfortunately this guy was a total beginner and he did a lousy job and couldn't even do a decent painting on my toes. He probably would've been great for a little kid. Needless to say, I was very annoyed. I will never go back again for such a terrible service! Shame on that lady for bate & switch. Can you say Golddigger? read more

During this time, two other ladies walked in and were also waiting, but I found out later they were walk-ins. Another lady walked in after I had been waiting for 30 minutes, looking to be a walk-in, but they said it was gonna be a while because there were people waiting, so she was trying to schedule an appointment for later that afternoon. I ended up getting up and gathering my stuff and told the lady that she could have my appointment since I had been sitting around for 30 minutes with nothing happening. I looked at the lady who had scheduled my appointment the day before and who had checked me in the day of and she gave me no response. I went out to my car and the lady ended up making an appointment and following me out. Just asked what happened and I explained the situation and she had told me that most people were walk-ins for this establishment.Also the other two women that were waiting left shortly after I did and I asked if they had an appointment, but they said that they were also walk-ins. I don't understand why you would take an appointment and not honor it. There is a reason for appointment, mainly so we can keep our schedules for the day. After seeing the empty books and being told that most people are walk-ins, I believe the two ladies they helped before me were also walk-ins (not verified), and ended up taking my reserved time. It's very frustrating at the lack of professionalism with businesses nowadays. Nothing was done to honor my appointment, nothing was said when I voiced that I had been waiting for 30 minutes, and nothing will be done because I am just one person. I am not telling you, whether you should or should not use this company for any service, I am just providing a rating of my experience. I have a place that I normally go to, but it is 30 minutes away and they are fantastic. Looks like I need to go on here and give them a rating too to show how much I appreciate the service I received from them. Looking forward to a reply.

One start review, because you can't give less…read more I went in today 03/06/2026 @ 2:45pm to SOAK off my gel/acrylic nails. The bald Asian man at the front seemed like most Asian shops, pushy. I thought nothing of it. As this is how most shops are in Arizona. He sat me down at his station and kept trying to sell me on getting my nails done (fill, new set, etc.) At first I was definitely considering on going with a gel nail once my current nail polish( gel nail) was removed. However, the chain of events changed that. Before soaking of my nail he was prying the nail apart. He started cutting my finger, not acrylic, nail jaggedly and then used an acrylic nail to try and remove the gel nail I had on. I told him it hurt. He seemed frustrated and said it would take longer to soak off. I clearly wanted a soak off to save my nails from more damage. Anyway, I went for a basic pedicure, while I was soaking off my gel nails, since I wanted the gel nail color removed off my toes. I was looking for a "metallic color changing" nail color (Popular on social media at this time ). He was quite rude and said they don't have that. He stated, he has the color panel he showed me and then brought out "cat eye" nail colors after I asked the woman who was doing my pedicure. He kept interrupting her and told me there was an additional up charge of $10 on top of the gel manicure and pedicure cost. He then told me the regular matte color nail polish I was thinking of secondly, was an additional $5. What takes the cake is that when I asked what color a nail was, he stated "it's that color, it's what you see". I'm color blind! The nail I was painting at had no name and wasn't in any color order. It only had a number. Anyway, I knew that most places upcharge for gel nails $10-$15 more than the normal manicure, but to add $5 for a matte color and an additional $10 for cat eye is crazy. Not to mention being extremely rude when asked about a color that had no name or color flow to determine the color. The young woman who did my pedicure was sweet and nice. I do not recommend this place at all, especially for an ADA person. To be clear, I am Asian and I felt like this man was either racist or sexist and definitely was not professional at all.

I went to get a simple manicure. I asked the tech for a square round nail shape and I even showed a…read morereference picture after I saw the tech not do the shape I wanted. She proceeded to cut my nails unevenly, I had to tell her multiple times the shape I wanted and even after showing the a reference picture. Even my cuticles were not cleaned up, I was in the chair less than 15 minutes. The employees were nice, not rude, but it wasn't necessarily welcoming.

I was in their shop for fill Gel French Nail manicure and gel pedicure October 17 while on…read morevacation. The mother did my pedicure and asked me at least twice if I was ok. The father did my manicure. On the drive home to my toe hurt but wasn't sure why. My toe got pus on my big toe and was infected. When we got home I went to the doctor. They had to cut half my nail off. And I am on Antibiotics. The children were talking about a trip to Vietnam and there was a child on a lounge chair playing on a IPAD. I paid $150. I need contacted with an answer. Update: I visited this salon in Sun City in October on vacation from Washington. I got an infection in my toe and dr had to cut half my toe nail off. I am on antibiotics for the infection. When I called the shop she said I had to bring in proof from Dr. I said I could mail it but I am in Washington. She refused and said I had to come in. I have the recording because I am sure she will deny. Very rude and uncaring. Mother did my pedicure and father did manicure French gel. Grandchild on lounge playing on IPAD fed French fries. Couldn't know this if wasn't there. Kids talking of their trip to Vietnam.

The shop in tucked in a fully occupied strip center so it doesn't have that abandoned feeling like many of the small centers in and around Sun City. The techs are a family, like all of them. Mother (Linda), Father (Peter), son (Sonny) and daughter (Kelly). They are all friendly, patient and attentive to customer's needs. By the greetings I've witnessed, they have a first-name-basis clientele and return customers indicates exceptional service. I've found my new go to happy to send others their way!

Tina has done my nails quite a number of times and I've always been satisfied! Although she knows my go-to, she always suggests other options or additions to make sure I get the best service! I can see how other reviewers can mistake this as her being pushy, but she genuinely wants the best for her clients. She's always ensured that my gel polish is always fully dry and touches up any bumps I've done. She is open to conversation but will leave you be if you seem shy or just not in the mood!
