I had a really great experience here! I made an appointment and was seated pretty quickly. The staff was very helpful and friendly, which made the whole visit feel easy and comfortable. I wish when you made an appointment they had someone ready but I'm also used to that at nail places, this one is better than others. Because I was rushing to another appointment, she told me to come back the very next day and she would fix it. When I called to schedule the correction, Ruby wasn't there, so I made an appointment for 9:00 AM the following morning. Today, I arrived on time and waited over 30 minutes because she was late. During that time, the owner/manager came over, looked at my toes, took photos, and explained they had already been having issues with Ruby. Because I had already been inconvenienced by having to return for a mistake that was not mine, take additional time away from work, and then wait over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment, I asked the owner if acrylic could be added to my big toenails at no charge as a gesture of goodwill for everything I had been put through. The owner agreed and instructed Ruby to do it. That is when the situation escalated. Instead of accepting the owner's decision and taking accountability for the original mistake, Ruby became argumentative and confrontational with me. At that point, my frustration was no longer about the color itself. It was about the repeated inconvenience, lack of professionalism, being late to a scheduled appointment, and being met with resistance and excuses rather than a sincere effort to correct the situation. The issue could have been resolved professionally, but Ruby's attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility turned a simple correction into an unnecessarily negative experience. I also want to be fair in my review. I previously had my fingernails done by Austin, and I will absolutely give credit where it is due his nail work is beautiful, and I was always happy with the quality of his services. However, I did have an experience where I felt he was unnecessarily rude to both my mother and me, and that interaction ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can acknowledge the quality of his work, customer service and professionalism are equally important to me as a paying customer.( Fortunate for me I do have this whole encounter voice recorded so that I was able to go back ACCURATELY create this HORRIBLE review! ) The salon itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized. The workstations, floors, and overall appearance of the shop were consistently kept neat during my visits. Cleanliness was never an issue, and I appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a professional environment for customers. Stylist Review for Ruby: Ruby was the original technician who did my pedicure and unfortunately my experience with her was disappointing. She painted my toes SUPER SLOPPY the wrong color after I had clearly selected a different one and asked me to come back the next day to correct her mistake. SHE Never showed up the day she told me to come in to correct her mistake . When I returned for my scheduled appointment, she arrived over 30 minutes late. What was most frustrating was that instead of taking accountability for the inconvenience and mistake, she became argumentative when the situation was being addressed. Everyone makes mistakes, but professionalism is measured by how those mistakes are handled, and unfortunately that was lacking during my experience. Review for the Owner/Manager: I appreciate that the owner ultimately tried to make the situation right. At first, there seemed to be some hesitation when I requested acrylic on my big toes as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience of having to return, missing work time, and waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time. However, after reviewing the situation and recognizing everything that had occurred, the owner reconsidered and approved the request. While the experience should never have reached that point, I do appreciate that management eventually listened to my concerns and attempted to provide a reasonable resolution. Review for Austin: Austin is very talented when it comes to nails, and I want to give him full credit for the quality of his work. My fingernails always looked great, and I was consistently happy with the results. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I felt he was rude and dismissive toward both my mother and me, which ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can't fault his skills as a nail technician, customer service is just as important as the service itself. If professionalism and communication had matched the quality of his work, I would likely still be a client today. read more

My husband and I have been to this nail salon at least 10 times - 2 people. We both started coming a month after they opened. Somehow we've never accumulated enough points for anything. Today the gal sat us, never offered a drink (should be her job, nail techs are very busy) and played on her phone almost the entire time. I wanted a drink off the list, which I never got, only offered a warm soda by my nail tech. I ordered the soothing and refreshing pedicure. My usual gal quit and I had to remind my new gal I was supposed to have gotten a warm shoulder compress. My husband normally pays when we're finished but today I did. First nail salon in surprise that I've absolutely loved with zero complaints. I booked an appt for 12pm on a Saturday and despite being insanely busy I had almost no wait. I've waited 20+ min even with an appt at other salons when they were super busy. I'm going on vacation and wanted a nail design with an ocean theme. My nail tech, Austin, was amazing!! I showed him a couple picture ideas and he asked if he could create something that was similar, but with his creative touch. I almost always regret getting nail designs because they end up looking like bad clip art. This is the first time I absolutely loved the outcome and it's all thanks to him! Even my 2 brothers were like "oh wow those are sick!" lol--they don't take an interest in anything girly. Thank you Austin! The salon itself was beautiful and clean. They had tons of chairs and carried all the nails colors I could want. I actually had bought my own DND bottle for the color I wanted, but didn't even need it because of all the options. Knocking down a few stars after today's experience, which will likely be my last at Venetian Nail Lounge. We visited today for a pedicure appointment. We both went with the exfoliation pedicure with gel polish, which comes with a $60 price tag. My pedicure was mediocre at best. My nails are uneven and the 10 minute massage left much to be desired. What did it for me was not the pedicure itself, but the behavior from Deanne the technician. I paid with card for my pedicure and went to the back to hand my technician her tip. I typically tip 20%+, but in this situation, I felt like 18% was more than sufficient. As I handed the technician her $10 tip, she started explaining to me that my pedicure was $60 and the tip was inadequate. Embarrassed and confused, I thanked her and left. Sitting in the car, I was processing this and decided to call the shop and speak to the manager. When I first explained the situation to the manager, it was clear that he was not listening. I explained again, at which point he became somewhat apologetic but also kept talking about "body language" which was irrelevant and confusing. It was clear that we were just another number and not valued customers. I'm disappointed and frustrated, especially since we thought we found our new pedicure spot. read more

I got my gel builder fill with Sam, never have I had such lack of customer service, drilled my nails and cut up my cuticles. My nail beds are so sore. Never again. They offer a beautiful menu with a variety of services and seem to be more than capable to accommodate premium services as well with gorgeous, fresh presentation. Great, great, great massages. I have been to Venetian Nail twice. The first time my husband and I had an amazing experience from start to finish, so much so that we told people about how amazing the location was! The second time we went I took my mother as well for her birthday. We scheduled our pedicures and 10 min before the appointment the front receptionist was calling me asking where we were, which we were in route to. We were met by a very rude reception who was cold short and rude to us. My husband had a great pedicure but my mom's experience was very different and all the way down to the polish she picked up as wrong. As for my pedicure I try to give the benefit of the doubt and give people the opportunity to learn, however my tech, who was very new to this work and that was very obvious in everything he did. He drilled ALL of my gel polish off of my toenails, then tells me I can't do gel anymore cause my nails were to thin! I go once a month if that and I've NEVER been told this by anyone. He not only drilled away all of my gel with a diamond bit, but then took a sanding band and continued to drill at my toenail.., then this is where he tells me I HAVE RUINED MY TOENAILS using gel too much! ME I'm the problem. Then goes to file my heels and tells me "he can't do anymore" cause my feet would be too sensitive... again I go once a month and I've NEVER been told this, so I left with scratchy heels. We all three got the Volcano pedicures which is not cheap! And add two gel polishes. My mom is in the industry and this was just unacceptable from the moment we entered the building till we left. This is my second time coming here. I wish they were good because it's a beautiful convenient spot. But the first time my nails were so lumpy. Second time tech didn't even ask length of nails and cut one side shorter then kept the other hand slightly longer... I tried to let it slide but I'm back now to see if they'll redeem themselves so I can at least have decent set of nails. I've been debating doing this review. The salon is very nice. It's clean and looks amazing. I got a pedicure from here in the past and it was probably the worst pedicure I've had. I gave them another chance hoping it was just a one-off. I paid $75 for a pedicure and gel polish. I had the same experience. The "massage" was pretty much rubbing lotion and oil on my legs, my polish was not the greatest for what I paid for it. I will be looking elsewhere. read more

My sister called this place to make a complaint and they started to blame my sister, said it was her fault even though the lady nicked her when waxing her eyebrows and the man who did her pedicure made her bleed while doing her pedicure.How dare you blame my sister when you are the ones who messed up. I've been here twice. Maya and Annie were recommended on other reviews I read. I first saw Maya, a very nice lady. However I'm a bit detail oriented and picky I guess... the pedicure was a bit sloppy and had bubbles in the polish. I noticed after I got home. She did a gel builder and it was nice but she filed the sides of my nails hard and they were very sore for a few days. I recently saw Annie got the same services. I must say Annie is a bit more detail oriented and gentle. Although I did have to wait 45 mins longer even though I had an appointment. I can say she was worth the wait. I'm growing increasingly dissatisfied with Venetian Nails after going there fore several months. When the owner Annie went on Maternity Leave, she gave me three recommendations of ladies there who she thought would do a good job. All I can say is "When are you coming back, Annie?" Also the past two times I've been there, there is no management around, no one who speaks English, and techs who either don't listen or dont understand, and my nails and cuticles have been awful. Last time I was there, the tech Vivian literally tore off my cuticles instead of cutting them and I've been paying ever since. Also, for the first time in years, with Annie, my nail beds and nails were fantastic. Now, I'm back to square one with untalented techs. I have one more recommendation from Annie. If this one doesn't speak English and is as bad as the other two, I'll be looking for a new salon. read more

I went into the Salon and asked about eyebrow waxing which they said would be about a 5 minute wait. The lady comes, and as she starts my left eyebrow the wax started to burn. I told her this which she apologized but then continued to rush the process as every time she put wax on my eyebrows it burned for the first 5 seconds. She shows me my eyebrows and basically tells me that she can't do the mid section because I "shaved" my eyebrows but those were hairs she was just too lazy to pluck. Then when she finished she didn't even clean up the wax and left the hairs all over me. She was just so messy and didn't even try to shape them although she claimed she did. I didn't get her name but it was and older lady with drawn on eyebrows that were light brown. I don't recommend AT ALL FOR EYEBROWS. read more

Asked for builder gel on a pedicure and the tech didn't seem to understand what I was asking for even though I was pointing at what service I wanted added on, she insisted I do acrylic.. also they advise offering mocktails yet when i asked for one the response was "let me ask", 15 min later she comes back and states that they can only offer a free drink with pedicure service that costs over $65, I got the $45 exfoliate pedicure, with +$15 for gel, plus +$10 for charms.. to which she then responds sorry free drinks are only for luxury pedicures.
