My wife and I wanted to get a quick pedicure and this place had good reviews. I called at about 2pm and they said they could get both of us in before close today. I was slightly concerned with the older shopping center, but everything inside this place felt comfortable. There isn't anything too fancy about them, which works for me. The new owner did my pedicure and the previous owner helped my wife. They were very friendly and polite and I enjoyed the conversation and experience with them. We each got the delux gel pedicure with color, cost $42 each. So with tip and the 3% surcharge for using a credit card we were out the door at $107. I don't feel like you're getting a decent pedicure under $40 these days so overall not terrible in cost. We will be back again as long the gel lasts. read more

I just had a pedicure done by Kimbriel and she did a FABULOUS job! The salon is less than a half mile from my house, EXTREMELY affordable! Clean salon, everyone was so friendly, and such a nice atmosphere. I plan on going back at least once a month to have Kimbriel do my toes. She's gentle, considerate, and very good at her job! Don't try to change your appt last minute if something comes up with your schedule!! You'll hear how they want you to give 24hrs notice because of techs relying on their commissions with no chance to rebook because of a last-minute notice. I needed to do this today because of somewhere I need to be at noon and my appt was 11am. The owner himself let me know this as if I'm not already aware of techs relying on their commissions & their tips. (She would have still got it, just a few days later). I tip fairly well, always $10 for a $45-50 service. She also would have still recvd this gratuity. I told the owner I don't make a habit of changing my appt and that something came up for me. His voiced dropped ALOT when he told me he had a 1030am appt for the following Monday. At that point I said to just cxl everything. I can't believe he had the nerve to lecture me about their commissions. Getting your nails done is a luxury that many cannot afford and we are well aware of the techs need for their fair share and tips. So patronizing. After I told him to cxl, he simply hung up on me. Immature much? Not one ounce of professionalism by their OWNER. I'm stunned enough go straight to yelp and tell anyone reading this. This happened by their LEADER. I feel bad for the tech. The staff was very friendly! We talked about our move here and how the salon is family owned. I had gel on my toes previously and the gentleman took it off very delicately. I got a pedicure and sns nail set. The service was great and relaxing. Update: 3 days later both my thumb nails, popped off with the greatest of ease while running my fingers through my hair. I have been going to this salon for years and they do amazing work! I live in Gilbert but drive all the way there every few weeks because of how good they are! Gelacio (the owner) is so patient and very detailed with his work. He is able to do all my Disney designs and they turn out beautiful and last a really long time! They are always friendly and do amazing work. Everyone that works there are great at what they do. They do take walk-ins but they are extremely busy on the weekends so I recommend scheduling an appointment because they are that good that they book up quick! read more

I made an appointment the day before, and arrived 10 minutes early. One staff member who was doing a manicure for another client, told me to pick a colour for my manicure/pedicure, which I did, while another sat ignoring everything while playing on her phone with earbuds in. I picked the colour, then sat down. Ten minutes after my appointment time, I stood up, told the esthetician that had originally spoken to me that I was leaving. She then tried to get the other's attention, without success as I left. just as I was backing out of my parking spot, the second esthetician came out and asked if I had an appointment- I said yes, and was told she "didn't know " she had anyone booked - obviously she hadn't looked at her schedule. she then told me she could do my nails, and I declined. I don't believe it is a good idea to tune everything out at work- especially when you are in the public areas of your employment- I'd suggest either the break room, or just stay home if you don't want to engage with (potential) clients. I walked in with a friend to get both manicures and pedicures. We were immediately turned away and greeted with hostile energy. I called prior to arriving and she said they were accepting walk ins but once we arrived we were total the complete opposite. She said appointments only and so we figured we'd make an appointment for the future so we could potentially find a home salon. The woman at the booth servicing another customer stopped whatever she was doing, huffed and puffed and grabbed a notebook from the drawer. She flipped a few pages and nonchalantly said they're booked for the next two weeks. At that point we thanked her and walked away. We sat in the car looking for another nail salon and two other people walked in and sat by the walk-in area waiting to be serviced. They weren't heavily crowded or under staffed. I'm from out of town and I went to Do My Nails for a pedicure. I came here on an emergency visit because a relative was hospitalized. Consequently I didn't get a chance to get a pedicure before I left. After a few weeks of trying to tolerate my alligator feet I just couldn't take it anymore! I tried to cut out my own ingrown toenails out and it turned into a bloody mess. I tried to cut my toenails down and my feet ended up looking like a jigsaw! I NEEDED HELP!!! So I called Do My Nails. I spoke with Andy and he took my appointment. He did an ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT JOB! I had the hot stone massage on my legs and he scraped the equivalent of a whole grown man off the bottom of my feet! I swear I left a hundred pounds lighter without all those callouses and ingrown toenails on my nails. I gave him a $20.00 tip to show how much I appreciated his outstanding service. When I come back to Arizona I will DEFINITELY come back to Do My Nails and not just for a mani/pedi. I will come back for the pleasant conversation too! They are a good nail salon. They have everything I could ask for except trendy polish and styles. This kind of kills it. I asked for black matte polish with rose gold chrome tips. They couldn't do it because they didn't have the correct product. The staff is friendly but if you are about the A-nail game, this place isn't for you. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. First, do not be thrown off by the location. Its in that run down strip mall on 103rd ave and Olive Ave. While the building is a bit dilapidated, its super clean inside. Everyone speaks very good English which is a plus because I didn't worry about communicating what I wanted. I came prepared with pictures of the full set of stilletto acrylics I wanted. I was paired with Bebe, who is a sweet, kind, woman in her mid 40's. She said she's been working at the salon for 3mos and she loves it. Before doing ANYTHING we settled on the price of what I wanted. There are boards hanging on the walls with all the prices as well, which you don't always find. Bebe made sure I was OK with the price which was $40 for a full stiletto set with one design nail. Super cheap! My nails took an hour and 15min and I freaking love them. I haven't had nails in over 10yrs and recently got a wild hair and wanted them done. This place had the highest reviews on Yelp in Peoria, and I can see why. Dear reviewers, This place is amazing it's a hidden gem. Very tuck away in a quiet plaza that has a tattoo shop and a little beer stop next to it. The outside might scare you if you think it should be a sunshine place. But inside it's so cute and little just for whatever services you need. Nothing over the top or fancy they don't need that since all the services they do always come out way way way beautiful. I been here twice so far, and I plan to come back for more and this is coming from a person who is scared to go to salons. I only had my nails done now 4 times in my life and one of the times was at Lish nail salon and let me tell you they do way above and beyond what Lish can do. Don't waste your time here. If you don't have an appointment don't expect them to treat you like a customer. Call and get an appointment before going in or expect to be treated poorly. They are rude, especially when this place is not a appointments only salon. When it says walk-ins welcome, honor it. I brought my mom and grandmother in for simple pedis, the Asian woman in her 40s (three Asian women working on staff) asked us if we had an appt, we said no and if we needed one? She said no then flipped through her appt book asking for our name and we reminded her we didn't have an appt. She then gave attitude when we asked if they were too busy to help us. THEN she said it was by appt only and we would need an appointment. We told her signs posted said walk-ins welcome and she told us we now when we asked if we needed an appointment from the beginning. So we went to the salon over in the Safeway plaza which was much more welcoming of walk-ins, friendly and NO snobbery! read more
