Our client's deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. A contract fare means the driver receives a flat rate for the ride so it is easily passed over for something that may pay better. Sadly they end up waiting and waiting. I'm sure the contract they have with our company is quite large. I think if we get enough concerned citizens to speak out against this injustice, and discrimination, it may be enough to convince our employer to consider contracting with a different ztrip service provider!

With all the provided information Thunderbird Taxi managed to arrive before my flight landed and pick up the wrong person. I discovered this when I landed and saw text messages from the driver informing me that they were at the airport waiting for me (well in advance before my landing). How could they expect me to answer the text message if I was still in flight???? Nevertheless, Thunderbird drove off with someone else stating it was because I didn't respond to the text message sent. I called the company back and 45 mins later Mark arrived. He was not wearing any type of face covering. Mark said he didn't believe in Covid and insisted on shaking hands. His appearance was sloppy and he smelled like cigarettes. Mark insisted I sit in the front passenger seat next to him, but I declined. The cab was dirty and also smelled of cigarette smoke. Mark began expressing his political views and scrolling through his cell phone to show me pictures of hurricane damage while the cab was in motion (scary and illegal). Thankfully we made it to our final destination safe and sound. At the height of a pandemic, it is mind-blowing for a cab company/owner to insist on shaking hands, not wearing a mask, and having a filthy cab.
