Came here on 4th of July & July 10th. We mainly came for the food since it's been forever since coming here (July 2018 to be exact) and I remembered how good the food was and was hoping it still was the same. We ordered the spam fried rice, mandoo, poke salad and laulau. Everything was so good except the mandoo was a little off for me but decent. Came back again the following week and Ordered the spam fried rice, fried pork, and fried akule. It was very good. We did order some adult beverages as well: margarita, STP, Las Vegas bomb drinks-they were strong. Glad they survived the pandemic and are still around. This place is a hole in the wall karaoke bar BUT I kinda like the vibe. I like that they old school give you face towels as napkins lol People usually come here after work or for some late night drinks and grinds! The food is so bomb! Chicken papaya soup is so good! And definitely ask for the hot sauce with chili peppers. All the food is a must try and so yummy for late night hunger after some drinks. The only reason why i gave it a 4 star is because there's usually just one mama who cooks and one mama who serves AND bartends. Sometimes they'll have another lady to help but that's it. Ahi poke with cucumbers, tomatoes & onions. The karaoke song selection is pretty extensive, but not quite up to date. But doesn't love singing to oldie but goodie songs! Cute little hole in the wall bar. A friend/co-worker is a regular here and planned an after work Christmas gathering on the last day. The parking is very limited, mostly street, so if you're alone it may be kind of dangerous to drink heavily then walk far to your vehicle. It's always made to order, garlicky, not too oily, tasty, and perfect with a beer or two or five. If you are expecting an ambiance, get takeout and send someone else inside to pick it up. Won't be back. Had to wait for my son to finish sparing at Hawaii elite and decided to have a beer since I didn't have to drive and had a couple hours to burn. I parked in the back lot. There were a few parking spots available so I backed into one. A guy came out of their back door and gave us da stank eye. He was grabbing meat from 2 older ladies in a Lexus. When they got out of the car they also gave us da stank eye. Actually eye balled us until they walked into the back door. I almost didn't walk in to the bar but thought maybe I'm trippin. I'm from Kaua'i so stank eye is a thing lol. When I walked in the spot it was dark and all 5 of the folks who were eye balling us just continued to stare at us. Finally after a minute one of the older ladies said sit where ever you want. Spot looked closed and vibe was as not welcoming. Would Not suggest this spot unless you work in the area and go there all the time. Looks like the kind of spot that doesn't welcome outsiders. At least that was my vibe. I'm not a tourist, born and raised in Hawaii, and from a Hawaiian family. So I look da kine. Not sure if it's an off day for them or if I took the parking spot they wanted. I have mixed emotions about this "dive bar". It's not really what me and my friends were looking for on a late Saturday night, but we did have a blast. That's probably because we were dominating the karaoke and were perfectly fine entertaining each other since there was only one other group at a table behind us. Other than the small group of fabulous eccentric loud mouths that I was with, place was dead. (If I'm paying a sitter to have an adult night out, I wanna mingle with different like minded peeps that I'm more than likely never going to meet again! ) The karaoke selection is outdated and the accompanying videos are cheesy as hell. There are dart boards, but other than that, nothing much to do. The only reason I'm giving them an extra star is because the food is amazing. You wouldn't think so in a place like this. I almost ate two plates of fried pork! I couldn't stop! I ate my own, plus I "nibbled" on some of my girlfriend's plate! It's salty, fried, juicy, crispy bits of yummy! The spam katsu is perfectly breaded, but the portions are too thick. It's a $1 extra if you want it served with rice. Whaaa??? I can't belIeve it's a cash only place considering the food and drinks are pricey. The closest ATM is a walk to Walgreens in the middle of sketchy Waipahu! The alcohol selection is limited. The servers are friendly. Skip this place if you're low on cash or looking to sing Bruno Mars or Arianna Grande. YOu'll be limited to mostly Pinoy tunes or late 90's. read more

This place is by far my favorite bar as of now. I live around the corner and its a 5 minute walk. The staff and bartender is extremely nice to everybody and remember your name even after your first visit. Karaoke is $1 per song but that's normal for most places on the island but everyone is always happy for anyone to show off their skills, or lack there of. No beers on draft, just bottles and cocktails. Food is incredible because it's all done by an old Filipino lady. The 3 dart machines are an awesome addition to the atmosphere and everyone loves to cheer each other on. Plenty of flat screen TVs everywhere and they will give you the remote so you can watch whatever you like. read more
