When I picked up my new Tesla, tinting was a high priority. The dealership in Eatonville recommended a place WAAYYY in south Orlando that used LLumar films. After a lot of research and comparing technical data, I concluded that XPEL products blocked more infrared (that heats the car up), so I used their authorized dealer locator to find Tint man, conveniently near Costco, and a HELL of a lot closer than the place the dealership named. The work itself looks great, and Rafael was the nicest guy. Read reviews for 2 weeks before deciding to go with Tint Man in Winter Park to get tinted windows for my brand new Mustang. The heat was killing me but I wanted to find the right place. I talked to Rafael and got a quick appointment the same week. I got there early in the morning on a Saturday and was impressed by the shop. Rafael was very professional, friendly and explained everything to me: The options, the process and answered all my question. I told him I was apprehensive about getting tinted windows again because the place I used before damaged my car but he put me at ease. We always get our cars tinted at Tint Man, the winter park location is great! They have a room for you to wait, with WiFi, tv, coffee and water while they work on your car. The guy, i believe his name was Shaun, was so helpful and showed us demonstrations to help us decide better. They always do a great job and take their time and the tints stay great. Tints are something you should only have to do once so even if they are a little pricier it's worth it! read more

I called them and asked for an appointment. THEY set the time. After getting several texts to confirm I would be there, I got a call less than an hour before my appointment wanting to reschedule! This place was one of the most expensive out there - but I was willing to pay for professionalism. They have a policy where if they do not get a 24 hour working day notice or if more than 15 minutes late we will have to charge a $50 rescheduling. My husband surprised me with getting my windows tinted. It is something I have never had done on any car before. This place is 45 minutes away from my house but the only tint shop I will recommend and here is why. 3 weeks after getting my windows tinted, someone smashed out the side window of my car to break into it. I got the window replaced and my husband said to call the Tint Man. I called and I told them what had happened and they offered to replace it for free!! I scheduled an appointment in a few days and they did it in under 30 minutes. I tried to pay them and they said no! I said, are you sure? They said nope, no need. Unbelievable! Wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review to see if there were going to be any issues with the tinting. There weren't. The tinting looks great. The guys were very friendly, and the shop was clean. I went with Tint Man because I came across their YouTube videos that helped me determine which tint I wanted to go with. You should check them out. Do not be put off by the outdated look of their website. These guys know what they are doing and tinting is all they do. It's not a side job at an audio or tune-up shop. I went to this shop with my Ford Mustang to get my side and rear window tinted. He explained everything about the tint process. My rear window was taking too long as well as not coming out right. He asked me to come back a second time but the battery was dying because of leaving the car on while doing the process. I bought a brand new battery and came back a third time. He was still not able to do it right. So he asked me to go to their Longwood location. Told me, "Lemme give you 50$ for your troubles, because he feels bad." I told him, "Just give me a discount when I come back for the front window tint." He agreed and I went to the Longwood to get the rear window tinted. I went and got it done. There were bubbles in the tint but they said that's normal and the sun will get them out, just give it time. A car hit my car and unfortunately wrecked it. I called back with my car I have now asking about prices and if he would honor that discount. He laughs and says, " Bro how long ago was that...." I reply I still have the papers, receipts, and pics of the tints from both locations. He continues to laugh... so I say, " don't worry about it...." read more

I was looking for a good deal on hi end tint (a big fan of Llumar CTX) and a co worker recommended tintman. I was doing my due diligence calling others and getting prices. Apparently 3M tint has gotten very popular lately. I looked around compared specs and still wanted Llumar. After talking to tintman they explained how well Llumar handles warranty and from experience, I've never had any issues with any Llumar file from the standard to top of the line. I was given an exception price at tint man and told about a newer product air blue (front windshield tint) and how it keeps more heat out of the car than just about anything. I decided to take the total package Llumar CTX and air blue on the front. I can now leave my dark car in the bright FL sunlight all day long and you would never know it getting in the car. It's warm but feels like the car had a curtain around all the windows. The tint looks perfect and I'm already getting compliments on it (in the 1st week before it's fully dried and set in). Lifetime warranty, best price in town (for Llumar CTX) plus an amazing product in the air blue, all for less than the 3M quotes I received for just the side/rear. I don't know If 3M has surpassed Llumar (which I doubt) there doesn't seem any need to get any better than CTX and air blue. Check out tint man and have your tint really work for you (especially if you are a southerner with our heat). To note I did go to the Altamonte location and my car was a 2015 Camry XSE with what they call cosmic grey mica (dark bluish green almost black) and black/ash interior. read more
