Update: The response from the owner is odd and appears to shift the blame/responsibility to me (the customer) for today's appointment not taking place. To reiterate: 1. This business was closed more than an hour after it was supposed to be opened. 2. I had an appointment. Why would a responsible business begin handling personal matters before verifying the day's schedule? Why would a business that is supposed to be open all more than a half hour to go by with even checking for new customers?! Again, I arrived at 8:43 and departed at 9:20! 3. I called SIX TIMES! When someone finally answered (and didn't hang up on me) more than an hour later, there was no offer of consideration to salvage the appointment. No, " Hey ...sorry you drove all the way here for an appointment and I IGNORED you because I was too busy cleaning my car. How about I throw in a discount for your inconvenience?" Instead, I got..."if your number wasn't made private it would have gone differently." No, I think this morning was for the best. Now, I can ensure my money goes to a business that is willing to demonstrate it values my business...even if that means I pay a bit more. For me, great customer service is a top priority. I won't respond to any further comments from this business. Buyers...beware! ________ I reached out to this business by phone on last Sunday to request a quote for removal and replacement of the tint on my back window. I was quoted approximately $130. Because I wanted a more definitive quote, I drove to the business on Friday and was quoted $130 for the standard tint and $180 for ceramic. I scheduled and appointment for today (Sunday) at 9am to have the ceramic tinting done. When I arrived at 8:43am, the first thing I noticed was that the lights were off. Given that the business claims to be open from 8am-5pm seven days a week, I found it odd. However, the closer it got to 9am without anyone coming to the door the more anxious I became. I got out of my car and knocked on the door TWICE before 9am with no answer. So, I began calling the number on the door. The first time, the phone was answered by a male who said "Hello" but who did not respond nor confirm when I asked if I had reached the business in question. The person then hung up and did not answer any of my follow-up calls. I also made several attempts calling secondary number that was printed on a sheet of paper and taped to the door. Again, no answer. At 9:12, I made a final attempt and left a voicemail sharing that I was currently at the business waiting for my scheduled appointment. I said I would wait 5 more minutes. Instead, I waited 8 and left at 9:20am. At 10am, I decided to call again to see if someone would answer. I didn't want to provide a negative review if there was a valid reason for the business not being open and ready to provide service. The phone was answered after a few rings and person provided a pretty insincere 'apology' and shared that he was 'in the back cleaning my car'. That was it. No genuine apology. No reasonable explanation. Just a cavalier and ambivalent attitude regarding the loss of business and poor customer service experience provided. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this business. Poor experience here. We brought our sedan in to have one window tinted, and we were initially quoted $120. Upon arrival, Ed, told us it would be $150. Not sure why 4 windows are $100, but one is $150. Anyhow, we were told it would take 2 hours... Well, it took all dang day. He had our car for 5 hours! When it was finally done, he charged me $164! How do you change price so many times!? He was also quite rude and just a total grump. And he was incredibly reckless in our car. He dumped a box of crayons in the front seat all over the floor and crushed my kid's tin box of cards. Both of these things were in the back seat and fine prior to drop off. It honestly seemed like he couldn't care less about the service. The tinting job was fine, but there are plenty of other places to get your car tinted with better service. Booked an appointment for the first availability th just for them to not be there. I called 5 times. Still no call back. I know businesses that are ran by kids who had better professionalism. Owner has a very bad attitude and will nickel and dime you to death. I have used this business in the past and had great results, but that was from his partner that worked at this location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He is not longer there so I took a chance and went to the owner for my new car. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I left his business due to his attitude and business practices. If you do try this business all I can say is good luck. BTW I gave two stars due to past service, it should be one based on this visit. read more

I made an appointment on Monday for the following Friday at 11 am. I arrived 10 minutes early and there was a sign on the door that they were at a commercial project. So I called and there was no answer. The voice mail box was full so I couldn't leave a message so I texted. I didn't receive a text back until the next day with a response of "have to reschedule". I guess he has enough business not to worry about a little tint job he couldn't have been bothered with. I have brought 4 vehicles to him in the past. Plenty more tint business with better ratings out there. read more

"CUSTOMERS BEWARE" My Daughter took her New vehicle here on 9/4/20. After the tinting was complete there were a few bubbles in the film. The Owner Ed "SAID" give it a week and the bubbles should go away. Over a month later today 10/17/20 the bubbles are not only still there but other defects or bubbles have formed in other areas in other windows. When we took the vehicle back today we were given multiple excuses as to why the bubbles are still there and that "It wont be perfect" We asked for a refund of the $180 we spent to get the windows tinted because we do not feel comfortable with getting the windows retinted at this business. We were told just to leave. We will be filing a Small Claims Lawsuit to recover our monies read more

I called Orlando Window Tint Studio to get a quote for tinting my car windows. I set an appointment with Ed 2 days prior to the scheduled appointment. Prior to leaving for the appointment (about 20 minutes prior to the appointment as I live close by), I called them to confirm my appointment as I noticed another review that stated no one was at the location when they arrived. Ed confirmed my appointment and I said I'd be there soon. As I arrived at the location at my appointment time, they were pulling another car into the garage. I asked if he planned to do that car first. He replied, yes, it is going to be awhile before I get to your car. I said I have an appointment. He then pretended to be looking at the schedule book and said some called and cancelled your appointment! I said no one cancelled my appointment. He said I don't want to do your car. I said I'll put a bad review on the internet. He replied, I don't want to do your car "Liberal"--he got that wrong not that it should matter in the course of business. I started to leave, but then reminded him that I called to confirm my appointment 20 minutes prior to my appointment time. He confirmed it with no mention of a delay. Perhaps, he got more money for the big SUV in the 20 minutes it took me to get there, or he double booked appointments, or forgot my call in that 20 minutes. I noticed another review that mentioned attitude type issues at that business as well. I have never experienced this poor of customer service from a business. How do you think a request for warranty service would be honored? I would not recommend Orlando Window Tint Studio. I left there and got my car done later that day at Procar Window Tint. Ed was quick and timely with getting my car in and out. Are a few hard to notice bubbles that he said will disappear in a bout 5-7 days but assured me the tint is covered under warranty. Will update if Tint starts to peel or bubble. read more

recently had our BMW tinted and very happy with the results. amazed at the results in terms of keeping the car cooler in scorching temp's! We received several quotes from local companies. some were lower, some higher but several didn't seam all that interested in earning our business. we received an estimate over the phone and ended up going with a reasonable upgrade in materials and happy we did. we also received a good explanation of the upgrade options. Had the windows tinted here for my daughter's car and it was a great experience. The tint looks amazing and the process was much faster than I thought it would be. I stayed at the shop while they worked on the vehicle and it was very interesting to watch the procedure. If I need to have any other windows tinted I will definitely contact them again. read more

VERY VERY VERY Unprofessional, on 3-18-21 I called this shop after getting a referral from a friend of mine that has done 3 cars at this shop. I tried to get in that day but I could not leave the car and wait for it being that I live 40 miles away. So I set up an appointment for today ( 3-25-21) the following Thursday. I get there at 9am ( the time of my appointment) and noticed the shop was closed. I thought maybe he is running late with morning traffic. I wait a bout 7 mins and I call him. He answers and says that my appt was for Wednesday. I said no I'm sure it was Thursday as I am off on Thursdays, I said anyway can you get me in today. He says yes but it would be in the afternoon. I said ok as I was on this side of town helping a the friend that referred me out. When I get there at noon I walk in and no one acknowledged that I walk-in in. I sit and wait for about 5 mins until my ride shows up. As I am waiting I look at the appointment book that he has on the front desk. And to no surprise I see my name written in at 9am like we discussed on the phone a week ago. He writes down what I want done right next to my appt. I say " see there is my appointment" he didn't even apologize or anything. I just didn't like his attitude and the way he does business that was not cool to not even apologize and have kind of an attitude when I asked questions about the warranty. There are too many people out here offering this service to treat customers like that. I will find somewhere else to go. I will not recommend anyone to use this place. I wasted a whole day with this.
