This was my first and second visit to this bowling establishment. They have 40 lanes, a Pro Shop,…read morean arcade area, two pool tables, a lounge for adult beverage partaking and a fairly large snack bar. Where you bowl is different from the traditional horseshoe arrangement of seating with the scoring screen behind the ball return rack. This place has mini tables with four swing out seats and the scoring menu attached to the table. Every other lane is offset from their neighbor lanes. I found it confusing. I don't understand what all the tables are for in the bowling area unless they allow food and drinks down by the bowlers. If so, it would be the first time I've seen that. On the second visit I saw that indeed food and beverage was being utilized by the bowlers on these tables. It took me a couple of games to get used to the set up. The ball return is much closer to the foul line than what I'm used to therefore throwing off my stance but once I made the adjustment, I did much better. I bowled on a Monday and Thursday at my home lanes, then here on Friday. Bowling two days in a row really put soreness into my shoulder. After resting my shoulder and rotator cuff over the weekend, we returned today, Monday, for more games. I bowled a more consistent higher three game average today. The electronic scoring system is overdue for an upgrade in my opinion. I would like to see multiple options for scoring formats with at least one option that tells you your ball speed. We ordered a brownie bowl from the snack bar. It was okay and satisfied our sugar craving for some kind of dessert after eating lunch.

We entered by the Speakeasy parking side and had no problem finding parking for our event. From the moment you walk in this place has so much charm and potential for whatever event is being held there! The bar display was beautiful ! A real class piece. We took some pictures as we entered the speakeasy entryway with nice lighting. The main room was so spacious and wide. We had room for a stage/band and about 45 tables of various sizes for seating, trees, wreathes, silent auction items and more! There was veggie and cracker tray out for a snack before the buffet opened. The restrooms were absolutely beautiful as well, clean and stocked through the event. We chose the MoM for a few reasons: it was close to our ceremony site, provided parking for guests that we could pay for (for a reasonable cost), on-site catering by Dupree, ability to seat our amount of guests, but mainly for the AMAZING skyline view of Lexington as the venue is on the top floor of the Chase building. Mike and I worked with their coordinator Heather, who was wonderful and so helpful throughout the planning process. She is a busy lady, but would always respond back to emails/phone calls whenever she could. We met with her ~5x before the wedding to plan, brainstorm ideas, and review details. She gave a few options for the layout of the reception and how things would "flow" but I deferred to her judgment as I thought she would know what would be the optimal way. For selecting our menu, we had so many options. We decided to do a buffet-style dinner so people could have more choice over their meal. It was honestly so hard to decide on dinner choices because everything sounded delicious. We did a beef tenderloin and chicken meat option, roasted broccolini and smashed potatoes with the sweet potato kale salad- ALL delish. We are still having people tell us how good the food was!
