Wow, this is such an amazing idea!!! I visited a month ago and I still think about this concept OFTEN. We stopped in for coffee, and if I'm being honest, the coffee was the only disappointing thing about this place and the only reason for taking a star. I'm not sure if the barista was new or what but all of our drinks were subpar. That being said, the combination coffee/sweep shop/play a pace/party venue is so amazing and I'm surprised these types of spots aren't all over! We could definitely use some in Indy! They had little racks of the softest baby clothes ever and a cute little corner for kids to go when they're feeling overwhelmed with emotion. Overall, so glad we went because I legit want to open one now!

Glow Worm was my salvation when my kids were about to climb the walls during winter break. I was able to easily book a reservation online for next day (though they do sell out so book with as much notice as possible). And a 90-minute play session was $10 per child. After checking in, we ventured to the back to find a couple small play gyms, a play kitchen and store, a lounge-y kids reading area, an enclosed play area for the really littles and plenty of seating for parents. Some other thoughtful touches I appreciated: * Everyone is directed to take off their shoes in the play area. * Glow Worm has a strict no-hitting rule, for kids and parents. * There's a bin to put toys in that have been in kiddos' mouths. * The play room includes a rocking chair for nursing in the corner. * Glow Worm controls the number of kids per session so it doesn't get too full. * The staff was quick to clean and put the room back together after the session was over. Oh, they have great coffee and pastries too! And the small retail selection of clothes and kids items is the cutest! Keep an eye out for their great sales! My only suggestion would be to put foam tiles throughout the floor for the entire play area, not just half. My son tripped going from the tiled section to the not-tiled section and bonked his head on the concrete floor. (He's OK!) I heard from other parents that this has happened before. Still, Glow Worm is such an amazing addition to the community. I and my kids can't wait to go back soon!

It took one visit to Glow Worm Play Cafe to decide it was worth buying a membership. I recently had a preventative double mastectomy and I messaged their Facebook page to see if they would be willing to help me lift my two-year-old out of the car. It seemed like a long shot, but they were kind and didn't make me feel insane for asking. I ended up teaching my daughter to climb in and out of car seat using a step stool, but decided that their response alone warranted giving the business a try. Glow Worm has a child-led play area for children 6 years and younger. They limit the number of children permitted to play at one time; reservations are made online. This is the perfect spot to be able to keep eyes on your child while you sit in a cozy booth...or even a hang on a couch...while they engage in child-led play with themselves or other children. The vibe can vary quite a bit. Sometimes it's crowded and chaotic and other times it is almost peaceful and serene. But all the times, it's been worth it. At the end of the child play lounge, there's a garage door that is open when the weather is nice. There is additional seating outside. In the entrance to Glow Worm, they offer specialty coffee and other unique beverages, savory lunch/snacks, and a large variety of treats and baked goods. They have a small collection of clothing and giftable items. The entire place has an adorable boho vibe. The music is soft. The service is remarkable. For a mom with young children, while recovering from surgery or not, this place feels like a sanity savor. If there is anywhere locally that offers anything remotely similar, I've yet to hear of it. Glow Worm Cafe has little buggies to ride around on, slides, a couple of nuggets, a play kitchen, a play vet station, books, a glow table, etc. There's an area fenced off for non-walkers. Everyone removes their shoes. If something goes in a child's mouth, there is place to put it. It feels super clean. There's a classroom with events. It is the absolute perfect party venue for your little one. I feel certain I do not know all there is to know about it. Not yet. My kids love Glow Worm. I love it. My husband loves it. When I feel like I'm on the brink of insanity, I'm happy to know this new friend of mine has my back. I've heard they're opening new locations. I honestly thought twice about leaving a review. If my new friend gets too famous, will they still have room for me? Either way, Glow Worm Play Cafe deserves the love. I give it all the stars. You won't regret patronizing this local business.

We are so thrilled to have a place like glow worm around our area. Not only is this place amazing for kids, it's a great place to meet a friend to catch up over coffee and sweet treats. Glow worm has play yards for little littles, as well as a giant tree house for bigger kids. Glow worm offers 3 sessions throughout the day. Each session is 2 hours long! Aside from the playards and tree houses, glow worm has numerous toys, books, and riding items that kids can play with/on. We are so happy to be able to support this new business, I hope you will too!!

I came here for the first time today after finding it online! This place was very cute, organized, clean and most importantly fun for my son. I thought it was awesome that they only offer certain spots for play sessions, so an unlimited amt of kids cannot come. If you have ever taken your kid to a park, chuckee cheese or somewhere similar on a weekend and its SO FULL, you will want to try this place. I dont know if it would be great for older older kids but it is perfect for babies-toddlers. It would be a nice place to get some work done, wifi is offered like at most cafes. Coffee was good, I didnt love the scone or smoothie I tried, I promise I am not picky but neither was the right temperature for me. The scone wasnt hot enough, the smoothie wasnt cold enough. It wasnt enough to affect the rating of the review or the chances of me coming back. I will be coming back for sure!

A must try is the in house paninis - especially the breakfast sandwich (any time of day). You will not be disappointed.

If you visit Louisville and don't stop here for a bite to eat, I feel sorry for your taste buds and…read morebelly. All of the reviews about the Danwich are TRUE! True people! Because it was bigger than my head (ok, maybe this is a slight exaggeration but not by much) i had to disassemble it to eat it in stages. First off were the waffle fries and I found them to be tasty, crunch and fluffy in all the right spots. Once the taters were off I cut that biggie baby in 8 'Oh My Danwich' slices. Y'all, I rarely find myself at a loss for words, even my high dollar, 10 letter ones, but I can't fill this space with all the adjectives I would want in describing this sanwich that would make you want breakfast for every meal. The sausage had that savory salty pork taste that makes you happy you're not a vegetarian with an egg slice that was fluffier than my German Shepherd's downy fur. The cheese even had a nice pull with the topper being their chive aioli. And that sandwich was just the beginning because I also ordered a Strawberry Cruffin, Bourbon Peach hand pie and a raspberry Danish to have as late night snacks. The handpie didn't do it for me. The peaches lacked flavor that I found myself asking bestie if she wanted it because I was jiat going to toss in the trash after just 2 bites. The strawberry mascarpone cream in the cruffin was silky smooth and berrylicious with the croissant being flaky and fluffy. It was almost like a sweet and savory after school snack. The kind of bakery item that keeps you coming back for more. And more. And the piece de resistance was the raspberry Danish. I've lived my 61 years learning to never turn down raspberry anything and today, my raspberry research paid off. One hundred percent tenfold. Even though the glaze drizzle was super sweet, the flaky danish offset it with that light crunch but fluffy innards. Y'all, with each bite I just fell more in love. The Danish was so good that when I came to my last bite not only was I sad that it would soon be gone but I wanted to cry. Cry y'all. Over a Danish! Yes, do it. You only live once. Order the Danwich & the Danish. You won't be sorry. You can pay me in Butchertown gift cards. Or Bourbon. Hubby's brother lives across the Ohio so, next time he goes to visit them I'm going with him. Just so I can drive over here and try their lunch items and grab more danishes. The folks were super friendly, the place both clean and quiet. Which, kinda surprised me because the food is so good I couldn't understand why there weren't lines around the block. That changed the longer we dined in as folks just started roaming in. I said to my friend that the Louisville folk must get started late in the day.

Got the bacon and egg biscuit sandwich and a chai tea latte. The biscuit sandwich was really good…read more The chai tea was good.
