There for you still wind up breathing it and smelling nasty. They play sheets and computers here. $10 bucks for a pack and $15 for a computer. Some nights they run $10 dollar specials on the computers. Bottle coke is a $1.50 and fountain 16oz, is $1.75. Nachos, hot dogs, polish sausage, salads, burger or grilled cheese available. They usually have a nightly dinner meal too. Nothing fancy. Workers (volunteers) are always ready to help explain if needed or sell you extra sheet or pulls tabs if you're into the tabbies. I don't play them though myself. Inexpensive entertainment and a chance for some extra dough :)

However,this past Saturday night they have got a new volunteer that has gotten kicked out of the bingo hall down the road. his whole family worked there and they have all got kicked out. the last time I went there they all snubbed me because I didn't give them a tip when I won a pulltab game. at that point I quit going there and go back to bingo fantastic. This particular volunteer came up to my table, knowing that there was hard feelings and I told him to get away from me and leave me alone. The next thing I know is that the chair person. Came up to me and said she didn't let people mistreat her employees and then she changed it to volunteers. I told her what has happened and I was at my table minding my business and she had no right to come up to me saying anything. Until she knew the story. There's too many other bingo halls that people can go to without being mistreated.

Also, my fault for not realizing that a "gaming hall" is essentially slots and sports betting only. I completely mistook "gaming" to also include card games like Blackjack and poker, mahjong, paigow, etc. Those are card games. But nope, slots only. Many of you might say "it's KY of course there are no card games," but I read "gaming hall" and thought perhaps they found a way to make it legal like an Indian Casino. In a lot of the descriptions, it's called a Casino. This is not a casino. Now, it has a TON of nice looking slot machines, so if that's your jam and you love inhaling cigarette smoke, you'll be in paradise. Highly recommend! Aside from my naiveté and surprise there are no tables here, I could have made the best and tried to enjoy myself IF the air filtration system was at least half decent. It needs to be so much better to make it tolerable. Walking through there to get the the restaurants was torturous and then I'd often get a huge whiff of cigarette smoke while sitting in the restaurant, which honestly made it difficult to fully enjoy my food and beverages. Even just walking through there my clothes smelled like smoke and we'll have to dry clean my husband's suit. We originally came here to enjoy watching the Kentucky Derby at the Circa Sports center but that was also slightly disappointing for what we were expecting. That's another issue but again, I imagine the Circa is a huge bonus for people who don't mind cigarette smoke and love watching and betting on sports. Not for us tho. Won't be back to The Mint outside of racing season (August -September) and even then we likely won't be going inside, just staying outside at the track for a fun intimate horse racing experience.
