Working with Rich was easy at first, but then the stress of the divorce in the fact that I was the one who left with only the clothes on the back, led me to have to make expensive financial decisions to secure a home and stability I ended up in a mental health crisis and sought help, then engaged the Services of Marble law to Craft my settlement offer. Rich was extremely adversarial and unprofessional towards both myself and my Attorney Rykesha Thomas. He was even cruel enough to weaponize my mental health crisis against me, calling me, incompetent to enter into any sort of agreement. I have never had a mental health crisis in my life, and the only one I did have was related to my divorce to the woman. I was married to for 29 years. I got the help I needed, and I'm disappointed to have found such an utterly un empathetic, unprofessional and cruel mediator. Rich Gordon should not be in this line of work. I cannot recommend him or a fairway mediation and would suggest you look at other mediators, especially female ones. Rich does not seem to understand same-sex marriages as a cisgender white male. I now regret engaging his services and have engaged the services of another mediator and fired Rich as my attorney thus likely setting back the date that my divorce will be final. But that is less important than the overtly hostile manner in which he treated myself and my attorney. Rich does not have the emotional intelligence or the gravitas his position demands.

Update: Rich sent me the threatening response below... so many things to say to this petty response. I'll just comment that my marriage "mistake" requires no defending. It was not "tragic," just a simple mistake. Perhaps the greater "tragic" mistake here is in calling Rich a mediator. There are a lot of other reviews on here mentioning the same...perhaps it is a theme. And threatening a response that may defame me, my "tragic" marriage choice, or refusal to pay unethical billing fees beyond the 3500 dollar retainer without due notification (monthly invoices promised) ...whatever man. You are entitled to your opinion. As am I. Please don't use this guy!

When is it time to look into divorce mediation?

A divorce affects the whole family, often putting considerable strain on the children.

I have had my fair share of facials, but nothing like the experience here. Alex is an expert at her craft, and you can tell she does this because she is passionate about it - her passion shows in her work! She did a Gua Sha treatment on my skin and it was wonderful. It has been a few weeks since I saw her and my skin still looks amazing - this goes to snow the quality of her holistic skincare line she uses. I have never had a better facial than the one I received here, and I have found my new go to girl. Do yourself a favor and book with her ASAP.

I found this business on Instagram and thought it looked perfect and the kind of place I would normally visit. I contacted her and asked if she did Hydra-facials, as my skin was really dry from being in Colorado, and also asked what skincare lines she used, as I can't use some ingredients on my skin. Whoever runs this business was nasty from the start. She immediately referred me to someone else for a hydra-facial, as she doesn't do them, which is fine and was appreciated. But then told me she was too busy to continue a conversation about her services. She said my skin was too sensitive to be worked on by anyone professionally and she personally wouldn't feel comfortable working on my skin. Just be aware you have to have perfect skin to be seen here and be able to use ANY and every product she deems fit, or else you're banished from all "professional facials". Zero discussion allowed. I have lived all over the country and spoken with many skin care professionals. Never have I come across someone so abrasive and rude just for inquiring about their services. If you're going to work in a service industry, work on customer service skills and time management.

Found out about this new studio through the yoga grapevine (or should I say rope wall?) and headed out to the Coachella Valley to check it out. My husband and I felt instantly calm as we walked into the warm and spacious practice room, taking note of all the nice, new props, the full-length rope wall, and the cushy floors (cork, not hardwood!). Not knowing what to expect from a class titled ''Exploration of the Rope Wall,' led by two up-and-coming Iyengar instructors--Holly Hughins and Mary DeVore--we were taught ten or so variations of the traditional poses, using the wall and ropes to get even deeper into the postures. This was a free public class, but looking at the price list it looks like the drop-in and monthly rates are totally reasonable, especially for instruction from respected Iyengar and Ashtanga practitioners. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center behind Hwy 111 and they have a nice little patio in the back. Next time we trek east for some R&R we're totally making a pit stop here for our yoga fix. Can't wait till they get their website up and running and post some more workshops!
