Hmm, well after meditating for 15 years and getting 2/3 through the "intake form" ...the honest reads here are "extremely regimented", "stifling in approach" and "exquisite need to control my environment and outcome". The intake form ultimately tapped me out, turned me off -- sent the dinero in another direction. Ask me about my skin ? Sun and cleansing practices ? Sure. Allergies ? Yeah, to a certain extent. But H to the E to the L to the no I'm not listing every single allergy I have. And as an intuitive / energetic offering...this is a bit much. If you're intuitive enough to disallow cell phones for crystal health -- listing every single allergy is unnecessary overkill. Never been asked before, never had a reaction in 30 years of facials...and allergic to tons. You know what a client's got going on if you're reading energy, and it's hard to believe any offending products are even used at this joint. For instance, should I really sit here and list every opioid I've ever had an allergic reaction to, even if it's completely irrelevant...or just pass up this maze and get that uber relaxing facial I'm after ? "Would you agree that consistency is key" ? Sure -- and so is self-love, self-care, nurturance and r&r. The summary of this paragraph is essentially "I'm really not for travelers, one-offs or a rejuvenating day at the spa excursions. I want and need you to be committed to myself and my business -- and I'm strongly urging you to agree to come every 4 weeks." Honestly, maybe a subscribers only site would be the best approach for you. "Please take a photo of your skincare" ...Um, okay...But on the real, I don't think an energy healer needs all this clutter around. No, you don't "need" to see it regimented by text message. You think you need to see it, but eliminate the thinking part and true achievement will occur. "Please indicate your understanding"...of my elongated voice. I'm sorry -- wait in my car for 15 minutes in the desert, and text you to come in ? For real ? Don't you think desert life feels oppressed by all that engine idling ? Or have the humans transitioned everyone to EMF overload from electric cars ? Wowzers. I'm sympathetic to covid victims, but state that you are if that's what this paragraph's about. Because post-pandemic it's wayyyy controlling, unless you yourself are immune compromised or you're actively crafting a space for those who are. Schedule a 15 minute appointment to re-up the products I should never stray from, after committing to you ?? And you'll see if you can fit me in to pick them up ??! Good lord girl. I'm about to pay YOU -- are you trying to pay me for those 15 in MY schedule ? Ahem...if your life made you a rich kid on El Paseo -- maybe just install a foyer with an atm and a product vending machine, so as not to be interrupted. Or there's this handy thing called a receptionist... "Required reading" ? Um, okay... "Late arrival policy". Ok...hold up, 10 minutes late auto-cancels the sesh and you get all my skrill and I get nada ? Whaaaaat ? For rill ? In one of the most populous regions of the u.s. this is a little hanal...unforeseen traffic occurrences and fluid shifts in matter are laws of physics. How bout you improvise there magic actress, and give me those remaining 50 minutes I paid for ? "15 minutes before" Um..okay. But do you pay me for those 15 minutes of mine ? Cough it up girl. "Duty to Inform" Hmmm...kind of you. But heads up : "respects your privacy" and "requests full disclosure" is an oxymoronic juxtaposition of polarities, bordering on mutually exclusive phenomena. What about this -- trim the fat and just ask for esthetics-relevant allergies ? Simple...It's a straight up facial already free of oppressive ingredients to its atmosphere. "Cancellation Policy" Mmm, okay. But I'm curious -- why does your life necessitate doubled importance than 98% of other service providers, who require 24 hours ? "Service Upkeep Policy" Yikes, omit this one. You can't control a person's life and fluid / flowing circumstances to this extent... it's just icky, and yes -- leaves an air of exclusivity all over. As if to say : Come to me and only me and if something changes, give me the comprehensive download immediately. Heads up...lots and lots of people come to get a facial just to RELAX. "Children & Guests" ...Ok -- you sure you don't want me to drop off that firstborn ? "Photos" Hmm...like you take my photo before and after with or without choice ? It doesn't specify, except to decline social media. As a photo sensitive -- I would decline all photos. They're a privacy red flag and encroachment on personal property and consciousness boundaries. "Please look for email AND text message"... Hm. So you get to unplug me -- but how about I unplug you ? Angela is such a beautiful soul! I was recently looking to switch estheticians and get myself on cleaner, but still medical grade, product for my face. I had a 4 pm appointment and even though there's a lot of preparation for the appointment everything went smoothly and she greeted me with such love! The knowledge she has to help me form a plan for my skin was out of this world. She is so informative but doesn't talk 'at' you so you can ask questions. She has all the top of the line innovative tools and devices - meaning she's doing her homework!! The best part was the environment. Found this place randomly a few months ago while visiting my parents and was blown away! Angela is so knowledgeable about her products and helped my skin clear up! The facial was relaxing and she used products that would work with my skin. She also recommended a line of products that I ended up buying, which I normally wouldn't. During covid19, when everything was closed, I saw that Chakra was offering boxed facials for $50. I was very impressed at how quickly they rolled this service out and at such an amazing value. I needed a gift for a co-worker since we were also closed and I missed her birthday so I ordered her a kit. I've had facials done before. I'm not a regular, but I can say the Angela turned me into a regular. Never once at any other facial has anyone performed a skin analysis. It seems like common sense. Angela is the first person to do one on me, and her facial followed a plan of action. I love that! Not just slather my face with things that I may or may not need, like at other places. A recent evacuee from the fires in Brentwood/Pacific Palisades, I escaped from the smoke & retardant toxin to the refuge of hiking in Indian Canyon Hiking Trails. During my break from my artist management duties via computer, I turned on local NBC channel and saw an interview with Angela as she describe her Chakra massages and inspirations for them.
