Tioga Downs bring great concerts at affordable prices. $20 wow!!! Fun with my sister and Aunt at the Three Dog Night concert at Tioga Downs. They sang a gentle song for the kids of WAR "Can you hear the voices of the children" and many many of their hits.

This was my first time to the area and the casino - and driving up this way there's not much around before the casino just kind of appears. Not a problem for me, but if you are looking for a food option other than what is in the casino, you may be out of luck. I didn't wander around. There are several options for food - coasters sports bar, buffet, nice steakhouse, and a Dunkin right next to the casino entrance. We hit all of these - the buffet for breakfast which was good, PJ Clark's for the steak, and coasters twice for food and lunch. For me I hit Dunkin as well for a matcha latte one night. Overall, I liked this place, the rooms had some wear - paint chipping here and there but the common areas were clean and kept up properly. As for the casino - it's not the biggest but gets the job done - and several of us were very lucky in our betting. Dealers were nice, I had no issue there. Would return. Thanks for adding to my casino chip Collection.

This casino was very lively and had an exciting horse race track as well! The horse racing bets were pretty straightforward and easy to understand once you get the hang of it. The races all happened pretty quickly and there was little down time between them, so you weren't sitting around waiting for a long time. The bar here was soooo cheap and I got rail drinks for under $4. Coming from DC I was shocked and amazed at these prices. The drinks were well mixed and they weren't too light on the alcohol even though the drinks were super cheap. The casino had great people working the tables and they were all lively and had great personalities. One table dealer in particular Lyman had a huge crowd at this table and was very helpful with explaining rules as we all played. Even though I lost money here, it was still a great experience!

Does anybody know what the usual payouts are for the Saturday and Sunday poker tournaments are?

The Saturday tournament, which is $55 and starts at seven, has a prize pool around $500 usually and the Sunday tournament, which has a $55 buy in and starts at noon, is usually in the neighborhood of $1400-$1500 prize pool, except the first Sunday… Read more

Can anyone tell me if drinks are free if you gamble on the slot machines? Thanks!

No, alcoholic drinks are not free and according to the monthly letter from the owner, they are not planning to offer free drinks in the future. That being said, waters, sodas, coffee, etc are free on the gaming floor.

I used to live in Northeast PA and remember when Mohegan PA first opened. Back then, it was the…read morebiggest thing to hit Wilkes-Barre/Scranton since the invention of HBO. Seriously, it was a big deal. The casino launched without a hotel, but over the years, it expanded, adding a hotel, more restaurants, and other amenities. For those first few years, this place was hopping--run like a well-oiled machine thanks to Bobby Soper, always clean, always busy, and a solid selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy between donating to the Mohegan tribe. Fast forward to now, and wow... what a fall from grace. I stopped by a few times on a recent trip, and Mohegan PA is barely a shell of what it used to be. First glaring issue? No valet parking. Why? I'm sure they'll blame COVID, but come on--at least bring it back on weekends when the place is actually busy. Speaking of busy, unless you're here on a Friday or Saturday night, the casino is a ghost town. During the week, I could have done cartwheels through the aisles without disturbing a soul. But come Saturday? It's so packed you can't even find an open machine to play. The extremes are wild. And those slot machines... yikes. I swear this must be where all the old, retired machines from their other casinos come to spend their final days. The games are outdated, some displays have screen burn-in, and several machines have broken buttons. There are even sections where machines have just been removed, leaving empty spaces with stanchions. It looks neglected. Food & Drink? Hit or miss. The buffet? Gone--another casualty of COVID, I assume. The Irish bar? Dead every time I walked by. The food court? It felt like stepping into a deserted 90s mall--bleak and lifeless. Unless you're planning to splurge at Ruth's Chris or Rustic Kitchen, your dining options are... well, depressing. Oh, and speaking of depressing - the plants in the planters outside Ruth's Chris... they're dead. Literally. And let's talk about the center bar experience. One evening, I stopped for a quick drink before a dinner reservation, and the bar was a cluttered mess. When the bartender finally emerged, I was greeted with an uninspired "What do you need?" Clearly, she wasn't thrilled to be working, and honestly, I can't blame her given the tumbleweed-level traffic in there. After visiting, I now understand why this place is dead mid-week. Mohegan PA is nothing like its former self. Living in South Florida, I frequent the Hard Rock casinos, and let me tell you, those absolutely blow this place away--newer machines, better game variety, cleaner spaces, solid food and drink options. If Bobby Soper walked in today, he'd cry.

This spot is literally the size of a larger garage or barn - teal in color with parking area on the side. I was trying to think of what to compare this to but I can't think of anything. You walk in and see a very small room of slot machines (approx. 60) and what looks like a bunch of locals, who many appear to know each other but in a small town this isn't surprising. There is very friendly staff that walk around offering mini bottles of water, a fridge with complimentary water, free coffee in the back and some vintage vending machines. I also saw an ATM machine there. Now the machines didn't appear that "loose" compared to other locations but I did end up doubling my money, winning a whopping $20. I am not much of a gambler, so I cannot speak too much on that aspect. My parents didn't win any money and they were doing Max bets on several machines, lost around $80. They did have some fun games such as an Edgar Allen Poe machine, which I haven't seen before. If you come here expecting a full size casino or anything like Del Lago, Finger Lakes or Batavia locations then you will be sorely disappointed - this is a tiny location without any frills just slots. Overall the workers here were very friendly as was the general feel to the location, so from 2 stars I have rated it a 3. Do not drive out of your way to come here, if you aren't already in the area. Good Luck if you're playing!

My youngest daughter (35) said it was the best steak she had ever had. The appetizers were fair. The desserts failed on every count. The alcoholic cocktails were uninspired. Our server tried, but, may have been overwhelmed and unable to give us top tier attention. She failed to tell us of the evening specials. This was a big deal as they were operating on an abbreviated menu of only 6 entrees. She neglected to offer us the fresh ground black pepper. She didn't collect staff to come sing happy birthday (she did join in with the family herself). The funniest comment of the evening when we were each deciding what to have from the 6 entrees we were aware of, was when she said one of them was "in their top five most popular."

We stayed in Room 734 from April 10-13 and paid over $1,000 for what was supposed to be a romantic getaway. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was extremely disappointing. The room was not clean or well maintained. There were stains on the ceiling, soot on the wall above the fireplace, and the door was in terrible condition, dirty on the inside and peeling on the outside. The TV in the bedroom even had a black line going through the picture. The biggest issues were with the pool and tub. The pool jets didn't work, and the ladder had a missing step, which made it difficult and honestly unsafe to get out of the pool. I personally struggled getting out because of this. The "champagne glass" tub also had a yellow stain where the water comes out, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. We brought these issues to the front desk and were told there were no rooms available to switch to. We were also told a manager would call us to discuss compensation, but we never received a call back. For the amount of money we spent, this experience was unacceptable. I understand that things can go wrong, but the lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and especially customer service is what stood out the most. Very disappointing experience overall.
