The quality is top notch and we often receive compliments on our beautiful backyard! This year, we have decided to do some work out front and have already purchased shrubs for our project. The staff is not only knowledgeable and accommodating, but they are fun and so welcoming that I leave every visit feeling like I have just visited family ( the kind you actually like). Don't miss the opportunity to visit and buy some high quality items for all of your gardening/landscaping needs. Also, the prices are better than any I've found at other nurseries.... We've recently purchased a Japanese Maple that was priced almost $200 more at an alternate establishment!

We had our wedding here in July of 2021, rescheduled from October 2020. All sorts of things came up…read morethat we're never told to us during our initial meetings. Management is lazy, tried to tell us we couldn't have more than 150 people (this is after all Covid restrictions were lifted this past summer). When we pushed them on this they allowed us 200 People max. Keep in mind their website says seating up to 350 people. Then they told us we needed to rent our own chairs for under the tent because their chairs would be set up for the outdoor ceremony (none of this was ever told To us before when we originally met and told them We had a number of 250-300 people). The day of our wedding we were told we could come anytime and take our pictures. We showed up at 430 for pictures, guests starting arriving at 530 but weren't allowed in until six or so. The contract says you have five hours and we ended our event at 930. Even if you count 530 as the start time (even though staff didn't do anything since guests were held in the parking lot) our event did not go 5 hours yet we were charged for overtime!! So did not get our security deposit back due to that nonsense. Also the venue wouldn't allow us to have a decorator and said they would do it all themselves.... Well when they realized they were not able to decorate the tent adequately they finally allowed a decorator. It was very hard to get in touch with anyone there either during the planning process we often sent 3 or 4 emails or texts before we got a response. It's a beautiful venue but not worth all the BS they put you through. Super hard to work with, lots of hidden costs and just not professional people. Would not recommend!!!

They retired and sold the business sometime during the summer last year. My neighbor and I went to buy our usual selections of Annuals and Pre-annuals. The prices has gone up A LOT!!!!!!! What used to be $3.75 is now $5.99. Pre-annual used to be $7.99 for a 6 inch round pot is now $7.99 for ONE PLUG!!!! Everything is priced much much higher than what it used to be while other places in the area are still charging $3.75 to $3.99 for a 4" pot this place charge $5.99 for the same size pot of same type of plants. We both used to buy almost $200 from Farmer Brown. We both decided to go and buy from Tioga Gardens and Naticoke gardens. We bought everything we need plus more than what we were looking for nice finds! So sad to see a nice business change for worse and not better!

Boy, am I glad I finally did, too I wanted plants for my room but had NO idea what to get or how to care for them. The man who owns this place was so helpful and the variety of options they have are unmatched. I kinda don't even want to post this review because I feel like it's Ithaca's best kept secret.. then again, this place was so beautiful & fun to explore, I need to share it with others! As a side note, my plants are still alive and well months later, the instructions that were given to me were so simple and helpful hehe. OH-- and it it very reasonably priced. Everything they sell is grown right on the premises, with a heavy emphasis on natural fertilizers, and on perennials that are chosen to survive our local climate. They sell a good selection of annuals in season as well. As I said, it's a bit off the beaten path: find Port Road on Route 12 between Binghamton and Chenango Forks - across from the Holy Spirit cemetery, on the same corner as the Sunoco station. Turn north and climb up the hill. Keep climbing and just about when you think you've missed it, you'll see it on the left side.
