Horrible experience here. Basic pedicure with no massage took an hour. No hot stones for a nice pedicure. I chose the colors I wanted and was confronted by staff numerous times because the toes were different than the nails. One of the staff members actually cut some of her bangs in the salon. Needed a dip and the tech not only took close to 2 hours but the results were uneven. She did not know how to properly shape nails and even caught my skin in the nail clipper. They needed to put a top coat over the dip color which was not even close to the color I selected. The nails are misshapen, some are square by the culitcle and some are oval,and after only a few hours the top coat has begun to peel off. Would not waste my time here. read more

My cousins and my niece went to this nail salon.. and the work was saddening. Though my neice (too nice of a neice) liked the girls attitude, she tried to jip her by trying to charge her for a full $45 manicure, when my neice only had her nails painted. I found this out, because I asked my neice what was done, and she said she just painted them. Not only did this happen, but I got a gel Manicure, and the lady who did my nails pretended to give me a manicure by literally clipping air. It was a bad job overall, to pay $95 for gel manicure and gel pedicure at that price is appalling and messed up when the job was so badly done I don't really know what these good reviews are, the place was not busy- we should've known. I have been coming here for years. The employees here are very nice! They have a wide variety of services that they do very well and they're reasonably priced! Even when they're busy they will do what they can to try to fit you in. This is my favorite place for pedicures!! My feet always feel great when I leave here! We have been to tip and toe quite a few times and several times they have over charged us. I went in April to get dip nails done for prom, and we called ahead of time and they said it would be $55, I went and had them done and they tried to charge me $85 and about two weeks later the nails broke. Another time three of us went together and they tried to charge us more than $200. The people working there seemed nice they just overcharged us on several occasions and gave us poor quality service. read more

We love the staff at tip and toe! We come here every year for our annual family girls day and they are always amazing with accommodating all of us. I try and go at least two other times a year and am never disappointed. With the bridge closure traffic can kill you and they have even been flexible with that. We will continue to use them! All i wanted was a polish change on my toes (which was $30 a ridiculous price). Women said they were too busy to do walk in so we needed an appointment. I made one for 3 hrs later. I came here for a mani-pedi, and the staff seemed to be in a rush even though there were not a lot of people there. I had two different people working on each hand and they both shaped my nails completely different and they were extremely uneven and messy. I went to get a color change and fill in today. I am on vacation and was shocked at how my tech didn't wear gloves. The clips for the remover process also were used, tossed back in a baggie and placed in a drawer--no sanitation whatsoever. I also got cut once really bad by the drill and several more close calls where it hurt near the cuticle. Staff was kind and apologetic about the cut but I still did not experience a great nail job. I got a mani - pedi tonight. The quality of the mani-pedi was fantastic, but the BIG problem was that the owners had their children there. And their 3 or 4 yr old little boy wanted to go home or something, and he was LOUD and ANNOYING! The mother would then YELL or SCREAM at him in Vietnamese and in English. My daughter and I came in today for pedicures. I'm getting married tomorrow. We did not have an appointment, but the sign said they took walk-ins. Immediately it felt like an inconvenience. We were told that one of us could get in but it would be a wait for the other. I was getting a manicure also, so I thought I would go first, but they waited for my daughter to select her color and then sit down to start her first. Meanwhile, I'm soaking my feet in progressively cooler water. When my technician arrived, she seemed fine, but the whole experience felt mechanical. I looked at a place on my toe that was white and reached down to feel it because I had recently stubbed my toe and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a blister. She brushed my hand away and told me it was skin and she would fix it later. Then she told me I cut my toenails too short. I knew it was short because when I stubbed my toe, it cracked. I felt like I needed to apologize and explain, which is just weird in the first place, but then she acted like she didn't believe me. ???? Later we started my manicure. Honestly, I almost just didn't, but I have a fingernail that has a split at the quick and I asked if there was a way to keep it from snagging my clothing without cutting it deep. She pulled out two jars. One was powder. The only thing I'm familiar with that is powder is acrylic. I asked what was in the jar. She said she fixes with powder. I repeated my question, but what is the powder? She said, you don't want? And rolled her eyes and put it away. I'm assuming it was acrylic and I didn't get it but she never did say. We got through the next few minutes with minimal conversation, I paid, I tipped and she moved me to dry. Then, while I'm drying she asked me about the tip. Apparently she couldn't read my number 5 and rewrote it to the side of mine. I mean, the total was legible and the 5 didn't look like anything but a 5, so that was strange as well. In fact, my 5 looked clearer than hers. It made me wonder if she was unhappy with the tip (which was more than $5, that's just the part of the number she took issue with). What should have been a relaxing afternoon with my daughter the day before my wedding, turned out to be stressful. I never leave reviews, but this time I really needed to put it in writing. Now I feel the need to write positive reviews for all the lovely places we have been to balance this out. read more
