A bit of an unusual feedback post for me. I must admit I do occasionally accompany my wife for a pedicure. Not just for the pleasure of a massage chair and foot care & foot massage, but also for heel issues because I am barefoot most of the time. Decided to try Tips & Toes because of Yelp ratings and median distance between our home and home of our niece & boyfriend who both joined us. Glad we did. Why should women get all the pampering? And pampered we were! Comfortable padded massage chairs with dozens of settings. Netflix movies on the wall. Feet soaking in hot water while everything being set up by technician. Excellent safety protocols including masks & gloves on staff, every other pedicure chair blocked for social distancing, large transparent shields between staff and customer, and careful cleaning between customers. Great experience, wonderful staff, comfort you don't want to end. They even offered drinks while you're being pampered! read more

If I could give this place a Negative 5 stars I would. Not only did they messed up the shape of my eyebrows they burned me along the ridiculous process. I'm in pain and beyond disappointed with the whole experience especially when I originally came over here for an eyelash extension Groupon deal advertisement. Didn't even end up with the eyelash extensions because I noticed it wasn't something I was already familiar with. Very unprofessional and untrained. Never going back there again. I saw them on Groupon. I wanted a dip polish change and a Cucumber Pedicure. The woman told me not to buy the Groupon and just pay her directly. I told her I had tips on my nails with dip powder over and just wanted a color change. The pedicure by Lily was fantastic. However, I sat down and Julie started doing my nail ex before I knew it she was removing my tips and told me I needed new ones. Over 2 hours and a terrible job later I left with one visibly crooked nail and she cut me in 3 places around my cuticle and was actively bleeding. My nails look awful and the owner tried to charge me extra because she put new tips on me. Lily does a great pedicure but I can't recommend this place. Was going to purchase a groupon for this place but the girl offered to match the Groupon. I received the bioseaweed manicure which last longer than shellac. And received a pedicure on top of that. Service was good and really love my nails. I can in with my friend and she received the same deal as me. I got black with glitter on two of the nails. The offered complimentary wine, soda, or water. The girls are so nice here and they do a fine job for mani and pedi, but the quality of the products they use are not good! I was finished with my dip nails and gel pedicure by about 2pm, and I went for a swim close to 4 pm. By 6pm my lovely French manicure had started to yellow. By the next day after going to the beach, both of my hands were completely yellowed! It looks terrible! By the end of the week, the gel had chipped off of 2 of my toenails. My daughter who went with me said the same thing happened to her on both hands and feet. I would have gone back to have them remove the bad product but both me and my daughter we're leaving the state in 2 days. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I had ripped off previous acrylics, so I hadn't had my nails done in awhile. Now they look great. There was a $3 charge for one time use nail file and buffer due to COVID. They wanted me to move several stations over to where my nails would be done, but when he got there he told me he would have to do someone else first. That's fine. I found this place on Groupon and I'm so glad I did. I originally went for the gel mani-pedi but Anna talked me into the bio seaweed mani and I LOVE it! My mail beds are super oily so gel never lasts long and even dip chips easily. Did not have those issues at all with my bio seaweed. The pedi was so relaxing and every really took their time and didn't feel rushed whatsoever. I will definitely be returning. read more

I've tried so many nail places through the years, and I really love Tips and Toes. It's on my way home from work and very convenient. They're fast, but do very good work, and my nails always look great for weeks. I've had my nails done here multiple times and I've never broken a nail. I also think their prices are the best around. I feel like I spend about $15 less than any other place I go to. I also like how they give new customers 20% off. It's a very welcoming environment, and who doesn't want to save money. read more

I came here on my lunch break and I got a pedicure my pedicure was very good so I decided to get a full set of nails worst mistake ever, I made an appointment for after work I was super excited since my boss got me a gift card I could've used anywhere but I chose there none of my nails look the same the shapes are completely different and the nails don't even fit my nail bed I am very upset they were going to charge me extra for length and for shapes but yet none of them have the same length or shape I'm very disappointed and I'm very upset and they still charge me and I paid because I wasn't gonna have the cops called on me because they don't give refunds most disappointing experience I've ever had. I will not recommend them to a friend. I wouldnt even recommend them to somebody I don't know. Definitely the worst place to go if you want your acrylics done the right way.. "Nail techs" aren't very experienced especially with a drill and file also the sanitation is not very good either. My nails broke a half hour after getting them done. They are masters at upselling product even somehow after you said no and even when they shouldn't be paired. I would definitely go to elegant nails in Dunedin or any other place because this place is horrible!! read more

I came here because my acrylic nails were all lifting-I'm new to the area-I was ready for a break but Natalie convinced me to try their seaweed nails. Once she got working on my nails we discovered I had a couple of nails that had developed fungus (won't mention the name of the place that caused this)-I have to say I was impressed with Natalie-she had convinced me to get a new set of nails-but instead of going that route that would have earned her more money-she told me we did need to wait until the fungus grew out-this showed me she has business ethics and I completely respect that-I ent back last week and took my mom-we got mani pedis and again was very happy with the results! I got my nails done by a fucking amateur and they took them off for free then gave me an amazing price for the mood gel stuff. And seriously put up with my busy body one year old. The good thing about this place is that it's pretty cheap. However, by the next day my dip polish had started to chip. Anywhere else I go this dip technique last almost a month. This didn't even last 24 hours. Also didn't have many color options in the dip. I'm pretty sure they didn't actually know how to do the dip. She looked like she was winging it the entire time and the procedure was nothing like it's been at other places I've been to. I think I'll stick to the place I know even if it's a littler further drive. read more

My friend and I bought groupons for a Madi pedi. They have complimentary beverages including white and red white which is nice. The place was not busy at all for a Saturday afternoon yet I felt like my technician was rushed. He also hardly said anything to me during my time in there. My pedicure was nice, my polish looks good from what I can tell. They include a hot stone rub at the end of your pedicure which I enjoyed. My manicure was a totally different experience. First thing that I thought was weird was the water to soak my hands in was cold. Not a big deal but I thought that was a little off. I didn't get a hand massage which is standard with a manicure anywhere I have ever been. My polish is very jacked up. You can tell where the second layer of polish is. Meaning he didn't take the time on the second layer to make sure he was covering my entire nail ( which he did not. ) I didn't notice this until I left and was outside in brighter light. I'll be surprised if this manicure lasts two days. I would not return but my friend had a much better experience and enjoyed everything with her technician. read more
