We selected Tipsy Daisy after meeting a representative at The Magnolia Open House. Our initial experience was very positive, and we were impressed by the personalized guest experience they offered along with several unique touches that helped distinguish them from other bar service providers.
Unfortunately, our experience changed approximately 30 days before the wedding. The representative we had worked with was no longer with the vendor, and communication with the new representative was noticeably different. During the final weeks leading up to the wedding, we experienced several instances of miscommunication that created unnecessary stress during an already busy time.
On the day of the wedding, there were aspects of the bar service that did not meet our expectations or align with items we had contractually paid for. After the wedding, we communicated our concerns directly with the owners regarding services and products that were not available throughout the evening as agreed. While they did provide a partial refund, it did not fully address our concerns, and ultimately the resolution came down to differing accounts between our experience and that of the bartending staff working the event.
I want to note that the limited reviews I have found for Tipsy Daisy are generally positive, and I sincerely hope our experience was an exception rather than the norm. However, because our experience differed significantly from what we initially anticipated, I would encourage future couples to carefully document all verbal discussions, follow up important conversations in writing, and review their contract thoroughly before the wedding day. Additionally, I recommend assigning someone to periodically verify that contracted services and specialty items are being provided as expected throughout the event.
Planning a wedding requires a great deal of trust in your vendors, and clear communication and accountability are essential. Our overall experience was disappointing and did not fully reflect the level of service we expected based on our initial interactions. read more
