She kept speaking to me very quickly and expected me to understand everything she was saying, even though she has a strong accent herself. Whenever I politely asked her to repeat something because I couldn't understand her, she became visibly annoyed instead of being patient. She also got irritated because I took some time choosing my nail polish color, and she seemed unhappy with the nail shape I selected. Overall, she had a very unpleasant attitude during the entire appointment. When we finished and I mentioned that my pedicure appointment was with Rio, she became extremely upset. She said, "Next time, go to Rio for your hands too if you're so happy with him." I calmly replied, "I'm happy with you for my manicure." But she kept saying, "No, next time go to him." After that, she didn't even apply the hand cream or cuticle oil that is normally part of the service. She simply rushed me out of her station as if she wanted me gone as quickly as possible. I asked her, "Is there a rule that I have to book both services with the same person?" She answered, "Yes." After that, I went to the lady at the front desk to explain what had happened. At that point, Michelle suddenly started saying, "No, I didn't say that." But I am 100% certain that she did. I have lived in the United States for years and hold a TOEFL certificate, so I had no trouble understanding what she said. Then she turned around, walked away, and continued complaining in her own language. I found that incredibly disrespectful. I came to this salon in the middle of my day to relax, enjoy myself, and feel refreshed. Instead, my entire day was ruined. I left feeling incredibly stressed and upset, and I'm writing this review while I'm still trying not to cry. This was a very disappointing experience. No customer deserves to be treated this way. I just got back from my appt and they already look like they're starting to grow out because she didn't put the acrylic all the way down. She didn't do enough coats of the polish so they're splotchy and my nails weren't dry when I left. I'm extremely disappointed with the shaping and I asked her to fix it enough times to the point where I felt like I was offending her. I never leave reviews like this but she asked me to come back for my pedicure the next day and I said "I'm sorry honestly I don't think I'm going to come back I'm just unhappy with the way my nails turned out." She asked me to point out what I didn't like, so I did, and then she told me I never asked her to fix them. These nails took an hour and a half and they look like this. She then said she's never spent that long on someone's nails. I already felt bad someone was waiting and despite my attempts they still were not fixed. Then she started denying that anything was wrong with them. She took my hand and showed the other customer waiting and asked her if she saw anything wrong with them and brought her into it too. It felt very unprofessional to bring another customer into the situation. She charged me $85. I wanted to see if I could pay half but she had a tone that made me uncomfortable and an attitude. I'm extremely disappointed and upset not only with the services but the behavior. If I'm paying $85 I want to be happy with my nails and I'm not. This was very uncomfortable for me because I never speak up and I always try to trust the process but this was unacceptable. I apologized for taking up her time but I'm simply just unhappy with the way they look. Now I'm out $85 and I have to go somewhere else to get them fixed and do my pedicure. Over subsequent visits, David was often double-booked and stopped working on me whenever another customer arrived; Lisa would complete the polishing. She is very skilled with the next gen, but not a confident toe painter. I had to return twice due to poor polish application. During my last appointment, the owner, Ken, confirmed my pedicure with David, but he was interrupted when another customer came in. He stopped to help her choose colors, even though he could have finished my service first. This was the final straw. It's clear you do not value your customers, and I will not be returning.

There's a large selection of colors to choose from. I usually get the step up from the basic pedi (might be named deluxe, but can't remember). This pedi is about an hour long and involves longer leg and food massage which is always great! It also includes a mask and lotion in which you get to pick your scent/benefits. I've done the olive oil twice and the grapefruit once. I love the smell of the grapefruit! The pedi chairs are very comfortable with a good massaging system as well. The last time I was in, I opted for a gel mani as well with Kati. She did a great job and a week later my nails still look super fresh and pretty! She was gentle on my nails and cuticles and took her time to ensure the finished look was perfect. I deducted one star because two of the times I got a pedi, I realized a couple nails were filed crooked. I need to get better at inspecting before I leave so they can fix any issues. So my recommendation is just to give your file job a quick look over before you leave.

However, the greeter mentioned a Fall Pumpkin Pedicure promo -- normally $70, on special for $55 -- so I decided to treat myself (see photo!). Clara was my nail tech, and she was wonderful -- very sweet, with great attention to detail and excellent English. My favorite part was the foot and leg massage -- a full 20 minutes! It included a sugar scrub, hot towel wrap, and hot stone massage. She really took her time and made it feel like a mini spa experience. The salon was spotless, including the bathroom, and the massage chairs were super comfortable. They also had two large TVs playing, which added a nice touch. How cute they had a little child chair in Tiffany blue (See photo) next to the adult chair for mommy and me pedicure? The only thing I wish they'd do differently is be upfront about the 2% credit card fee. It's not a huge deal, but it's always better when businesses just include that cost in their pricing -- especially since most customers tip as well.
