The owner really knows tires as I also asked about if tires can be put on backwards as it was something a friend told me can happen. The owner showed me photos of tires on his wall and explained which ones this can happen with due to the way the tread faces. As well as some have different tread on the inside compared to the outside ... very informative. I am telling all my friends and family if they need anything to do with tires to call these guys and get a quote! Also their quote includes all taxes, so it is the amount you pay out the door.

I have been…read morea long time customer at Consumers Tire in Markham, but since it's been a while since I have needed new tires, when I searched for their number again I found the shop in Barrie, so I called them. Sepehr answered the call and answered all my questions. He gave me options and explained how each would work for me. I was then able to make a solid decision. I was also very impressed that he could fit me in within two days to get the snow tires on my newly purchased used vehicle. I checked with the local Costco and two other tire shops to compare prices and they were no where close. Sepehr gave me a price all in, so I knew when going in today exactly how much I would be spending with taxes included. There were no other fees. I met the installer, Sepehr's wife and another happy customer. I can't elaborate enough how personable, knowledged and well organized a place this is - especially for being a tire place. It is clean, well appointed, has a great size television, colouring books and crayons for kids and free secured internet!!! Also ... Their wifi code goes with their personality! Lol an overall really really good experience. I was in and out with four brand new top of the line snow tires with rims in half an hour. Other customers came in while I was waiting and they appeared to be just as happy knowing they were in good hands! Sepehr also took a couple of phone calls while I was there from people doing their homework and trying to get the best bang for their buck. He answered all their questions in detail and asked hen to call back if hey had any further questions. What a breath of fresh air - great service, affordable (for the tires and rims I purchased - I have not asked about other tires etc, but given the number of people coming in and out, it looks like they really do offer affordable tires!) Had the front/rear rotors & pads done on my 2009 Odyssey back in July 2022 for approx $700. Ivan…read moresaid he used Akebono coated parts which are suppose to be a premium product that I've used in my other vehicle with excellent results. The following spring, with only 10k km on these rotors/pads, I started to notice brake performance decline with it not really biting and needing to apply a lot more pedal pressure to stop properly. Brought it back for Ivan to inspect. He said rotors had a lot of rust, however, they were all suppose to be coated which greatly increases the time for rust to form. So, for rust form so quickly and so severe to affect performance in just 8 months and with only 10K Km since install....that just doesn't add up and Ivan wasn't able or willing to offer anything (possible defective warranty etc) other than to resurface them for an extra $100-200. That really didn't make any difference. So, I ended up going back to my regular guru who replaced all the pads with Power Stop shortly after. Fixed it and it was 100% better. Not sure if the issue was with the parts, the installer or a bit of both. Things just didn't make much sense to me and Ivan wasn't really taking any initiative or making any effort help me other than charging extra to hopefully remedy my issues. Lesson learned...Will keep to my guru from now on.

BUYER BEWARE!! MOHAMED BUTCHERED MY BMW!! I dealt with the…read moreowner directly and he agreed to replace the oil filter housing on my beautiful 2018 BMW 330i. He completely butchered all the sensor wires because he messed up and clearly didn't know what he was doing. He ran the wiring harness in the wrong direction and had to add wire in and caused misfiring in my engine and all kinds of different sensor error codes. He zip tied the wires to anything he could. Because of his lack of knowledge and professionalism the re-wiring he completed shorted one of my modules. I took my car to Georgian BMW right after and they confirmed they did a botch job with photo evidence. They wrote everything JB Tire Tec did in detail in the invoice. This cost me over $3300 to fix. He is not responding to any of our text messages. We can see the read receipts and he is completely ignoring us and not taking any responsibility. Shame on him! Do not ever do business with this man. He will ruin your vehicle and cost you thousands of dollars. Look at the photos the dealership sent me. Its absolutely gut wrenching to see this kind of work done to your BMW.
