Had an appointment for Saturday July 6th at 11am for oil change and tire rotation . Waited until 12:40 pm and my car was still not in the service bay. I wish I would've been told when dropping my car off that they were running behind. Had I known that my 11 AM appointment was not going to be honored I would've not done it. Ended up going back to the counter and asking for my key back. The place was chaotic! The management and employees couldn't handle the volume of business. I was told twice my car was next. In fact that was not even true. I think they were just telling me that to try to appease me. Through that experience, I will never buy anything from tire discounters again. I spent $1200 buying tires which I could have went to Costco to get my tires. It was more to get them from tire discounters but I wanted the all wheel alignment. The timing is awful. I was told I would be in and out in 30 minutes, spent an hour and a half. Another Person had been in there for 5 hours getting an oil change. Had an appt. at 2pm on another day, they didn't touch my car until 3;07. They stack customers and take hours on things that are quick services. Not very accurate on timing for service and appear to be a little less than accurate .. dripped car off at 8 for four new tires which they had to order called at 145 and said tires came they were starting job and would be ready in 90 minutes.. called back at that time and said they were almost done and needed 30 minutes .. fact of the matter is they started it 20 minutes earlier since my car tells me when it's been moved etc .. got there and said it would be ready soon now it's been 45 minutes .. not so much the time but the lack of transparency .. makes you wonder about trusting them .. read more

Without a doubt, my worst, and last experience with this Tire Discounter's. I bought a new set of tires this year, and brought the car back in after a couple of months as there was a bulge on the tire and tire sensor firing. When I picked it up there was no charge and nothing wrong with the tires or so I was told. As I had run-flat tires I wasn't overly concerned. The same tire with the bulge also began to split in other areas so I brought it back to the place I bought it for replacement. I didn't know if this was a manufacturer issue but needed a new tire regardless so I asked to have a manager look at it and agreed to pay the estimated $207 if there was no warranty. So, this was a Saturday appointment and I called in the afternoon before closing to check on it when I didn't hear back. I was told it may be done but it could also take until Monday. I called Monday AM and was told things were busy but I was next and it would be done by the end of the day. I called back at 5:30pm and was told it wouldn't be done until I had authorized the $207 cost (which I had done when I dropped it off Saturday) but if I would, it could be ready by closing at 7:00PM. I authorized and work began. I arrived to pick up my car about 6:40PM and it was being finished. I spoke to the manager who said it was not a manufacturer issue but a road trauma that caused the issue and that he had tried to reach me several times to discuss the issue. While I didn't get a call from the manager I believe he tried. What baffles me is that I called 3 times speaking to a live person who could not tell me the status or whatever notes may have been left on my account. I'm just irritated at the whole debacle and want to get out so they ring me up and ask for $265. I asked what happened to the $207 quoted to me. The clerk said: "Who quoted you that?" I reminded him that he did as he was the one who took my car in on Saturday. He then said I would need to show him the quote (which I didn't have with me) however he clearly had it in front of him and it clearly said $207 out the door, tax included. He called the manager back in and after changing some things he announced the new price was $243 to which I said no, the quote was for $207. After another visit from the manager the price ended at $210, he said "it is the best I could do". I also heard the manager tell him that "We just paid him to put his tire on". At this point I wanted to leave, paid the $210 and left, never to return. I typically have 5 cars at any one time and have used Tire Discounters for most of my needs. I bought 4 tires for my car here so I went to have them rotated. I asked them to check my brakes and they said they were about to fail and I needed to replace both front and back within the next week. The cost was somewhere around $1100. I said no and took the car to a mechanic we have used for many years. He said the back ones were fine and the front ones were at 10% and would need to be replaced in the next month or two. I went ahead and replaced the front ones for $300. I feel like the fact that I'm a woman made them try to use scare tactics. What they didn't realize is I'm a mechanical engineer and understand a lot about cars. They just lost a number of customers in our family. read more

I have always bought tires from Tire Discounters over the years for good service and competitive pricing. However over time pricing is higher and service has been poor. Recently I purchased a set of tires from a competitor and my wife was driving that day when she was losing air. She was nearby a Tire Discounters and stop to have it fixed. The gentleman told her it wasn't fixable because the large screw was to big in diameter. The screw wasn't removed I told her to habve air put in the tire and go somewhere else. Was on my way home from work and my tire was loosing air. I called a little after 6:00 p.m. and they close at 7:00. They went out of their way to help me! Told me to come up and they might not be able to fix it till the next morning but they would check it out and see what was going on and put air in it for me. They got me right in the next morning and took care of it. I ended up buying four new tires cause of the customer service I received and I did need them. Great place to do business with! read more

Well what a joke and a waste of time! Since I asked my tire with a nail in it to be plugged. They come back and say they can't patch it. I am not sure where the miscommunication was. I had to drive 35 mins to my car guy to fix it. The other place fixed it for free. I know I am due for tires soon. I even told them that this was my side job car and I wasn't willing to replace them yet. They knew I wasn't going to fall for the replace all four tires shit. I am surprised they even tried. They fixed the issue quickly which was actually resealing the tire to the rim and guess what....fixed the problem made sure all my tires were good and no charge because I am military!!!! Wtf? This place used to be 5 stars but after being a loyal customer for over 10 years, I now have to change my review. I brought my truck in on 4/25/19 for an oil change, tire rotation, I asked them to top off the coolant and remove a screw from my back tire and plug it. They called and said it was ready so I went over to pick it up. The first thing I noticed was the screw was still sticking out of the tire and I could see it from inside the shop. I asked the gentleman about it and he said the screw wasn't doing any damage to the tire because it didn't penetrate the tire deep enough make me lose air so they didn't see the need to plug the tire. So instead of doing what I asked and generating revenue for their location, they ignored my request. Can't wait to hit a pot hole and have a blow out! The oil change was $66, when usually it's just under $50. When I pulled out of the parking lot I noticed there was no oil change sticker on the windshield. I decided to pull over and check the engine coolant, and the reservoir was still bone dry. I went back to Tire Discounters and they apologized for forgetting to put the sticker on the windshield. When I asked about them topping off the coolant, the guy said it's against the shop's policy to top off the coolant and they only top off the wiper fluid (which they didn't do either). It would have been nice for him to tell me that when I dropped the vehicle off that morning. The guy said they did a coolant system check and everything looked good. He said I could pay $99 and have them do a coolant flush, or I could go to Autozone and get the coolant myself. The best part is the bottom of my radiator ended up being cracked and that's why my coolant reservoir was bone dry. Good thing Tire Discounters did that coolant system check!!! My radiator completely failed 2 days later, forcing coolant into my transmission and causing my transmission to go out. The total for the repairs.....$3,000 and not having a vehicle for 14 days. All of this could have been avoided if Tire Discounters had done what they told me they did. Hell I would have paid them on the spot to replace the radiator, and if they couldnt do it, I would have had my vehicle towed to a shop that could. I used to send people here all the time, and I always said this location had the best bunch of mechanics in the Cincinnati area. Unfortunately there is a new manager over this store now and lots of new employees. I would pay cash to find out where the former employees went to, because they were all top notch mechanics but most of all, they were trustworthy. I will never take another vehicle to any Tire Discounters because of this situation, and I will tell everyone I know and everyone on social media how lousy I was treated and just how negligent their mechanics are. I have reached out to their corporate office to file an official complaint, and I am considering reaching out to the WCPO I-Team regarding my experience. If the mechanic would have even just took a quick glance in the direction of my radiator, he would have saw the crack. But unfortunately, the man working the desk lied straight to my face, and now I am stuck paying over $3,000 in repairs. read more

Many thanks to Jason, Tyler and the Team 32 location for resolving our problem. We had a repair done last fall at a different Tire Discounter location. Unfortunately, the repair did not actually fix the problem. We took it back to that location and they told us they couldn't hear the noise we were reporting and sent us on our way. We finally took our car to this location and asked them to investigate. Team 32 ultimately discovered an unrelated issue to the original repair and fixed the issue at no charge because of the problems we'd had with the other Tire Discounter location. This is the only place I will get tires. When I hit a pothole and bent one of my rims, I took it to them to fix. 3 days later they said it was done. They couldn't find the tire they took off, it was good and had to order me a new one. There was no charge for the tire as they lost it. They could had easily said it was ruined and charged me for a new one but didn't. I have since had 3 vehicles get new tires there. Honestly and integrity are the way to do business read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. My wife and I have had many things done to both cars here (new tires, oil changes, shocks, brakes, etc.) and every time the service is super and they really act like they appreciate your business. Last night was probably the best example. I needed rear shocks rather badly--tires were cupping, etc. They called me and said that they were having difficulty with the outside bottom bolt on the right strut not coming off and they didn't know how long it would take to loosen and remove it (turned out to be hours) So we went over there just before they closed at 7--they stayed until after 8PM just to fix my car--and these guys are salaried, so they didn't get any overtime for that. Plus they didn't have time for an oil change on my wife's car as a result, so they scheduled it this AM at no charge. Wow--that's pretty cool. I purchased 2 tires and had them installed from Tire Discounters at 8701 Princeton Glendale Rd. My sales person was Antwan Isaac and I was charged $649.34 for the tires. I was out of town immediately after the tires were installed, but once I returned I notice the two tires were not a match to the current tires that were on the vehicle. I have (LT315/70R17 DUELER A/T Revo 2) but they installed Revo 3 without my consent. I called Antwan to ask him about the issue he said that the tires were not available and his exact words were to see if I could find them myself! I told him that I didn't authorize him to put a different model tire on my vehicle. The following day I located and purchased the proper tires and brought them back to Tire Discounters where they took off the wrong tires and installed the correct ones. After which they kept the original "wrong" tires that I had already paid for and didn't immediately offer a refund although it was his mistake. Antwan also would not provide me with a number to a manager or supervisor and I still haven't heard anything about my refund of $649.34 for the tires I no longer possess. In the 20 years of dealing with this organization, Antwan Isaac is the worst sales person I've ever encountered. He lacked communication, paid no attention to detail, provided terrible customer service and was very unprofessional suggesting the customer find their own tire. My hopes is that Tire Discounters will take care of this situation by processing the refund in a timely manner and that they will provide better customer service going forward so that nobody else will have to go through this. read more

I have done business with Tire Discounters for several years, making close to $3000.00 in purchases for tires and services in the last 3 years alone. Up until now, I have been satisfied with the service I have received but no more. I recently have had a couple of run-ins with this company that have left me with a bad taste for them regarding their service, honesty and follow through. I took them my mother-in-laws car for inspection and a tire rotation and balance due to a vibration at around 45 mph. Since the tires were not purchased there, I paid for the service. I was shocked when, after they performed the service, they advised me that she needed shocks all the way around since the vibration did not go away. For a second opinion, I took the vehicle to Bob Sumerel and they re-balanced the tires advising me that Tire Discounters had not even removed the old wheel weights prior to balancing the tires! Oh, and she doesn't need shocks. I went back to Tire Discounters and they advised me that they do not have to remove the old weights in order to rebalance a tire. They offered me no discount or refund and basically could have cared less. All of this after I had just installed new Michelin Defenders on my daughters car- 11/01/2014 (at $750.00) and Defenders on my wife's vehicle last year. On top of that, when I installed the Defenders on a Saturday, that Monday Michelin came out with a $70.00 rebate for Defenders and TD refused to honor the rebate. They offered me a $70.00 TD gift card which I deemed to be completely acceptable. I even spoke to their regional Manager, Mike Smith, who told me he was going to take care of this. That was on November 3, 2015. I have repeatedly followed up with this gentleman but to no avail. After repeated promises and lies, they never even bothered to call me or honor their promised commitment. I do not appreciate being lied to by any company. If you are going to make a commitment to your customers, follow through. TD has lost my business with the exception of their CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION TO ROTATE AND BALANCE my vehicles tires for no charge as long as I have the tires.
