I'm always impressed with Discount Tire wherever we are. I was traveling but in town for a week and needed a little minor work so I decided to drop in and get it done. I did make an appointment on their website tool so I was expected. The staff was fast, and attentive and made sure I knew what they did and why. But they made an error. As I started to drive off I could hear a clicking sound that got faster as I sped up like having a playing card on your bike spokes as a kid. And I knew exactly what it was, the tire balance weights were hitting the brake rotors. There was no way to hear it at 2-3 MPH when pulling in and out of a bay. I had not left the shopping center they are in, drove down to the next entrance, and started pulling back in. The young man who helped me ran out the door to see what was wrong and immediately heard the sound. He was quick to apologize and pulled me into an open bay. The manager came out to see what the fuss was and then he came and apologized to me as well. It was a minor fix, they missed that they (another Discount Tire location) had upgraded tires and wheels that were not the stock sizes and put on the stock weights for the original tires. They quickly pulled the tires, reinstalled the correct weights rebalanced the tires, and got me out fast. Other places would have pretended they didn't screw up or try to shift blame. They did not, they owned it, fixed it fast, and were humble and professional about getting me back on the road. read more

He reassured me I would be taken care of to be safe on my road trip. I normally do not review my tire shop, but this was a very good experience. So yesterday I was at a friends Land Rover shop in KY, he had an extra set of brand new tires and I bought them at cost. As I was driving home I was calling around to get prices to have them installed as I had two tires with leaks and I was very sick of having to air them up every time I wanted to go somewhere. I called several places and most quoted me similar costs but when I asked about valve stems I was told that was extra. Here I asked and was told the price included everything except tire disposal, which I added. I asked how long to get it done and was told if I were standing in front of him 1.5 hours. I said I am 10 minutes away. I arrived and paid. The. Went next door for lunch. An hour and 40 minutes later I was driving away. No hassle nothing. While I was there someone came to pick up a tire they had repaired and was told no cost. I am sure they bought the tires here, but still very impressive and the service writers were very nice. Called after Walmart screwed us over by giving us a set time and not being able to replace a tire that busted while out of town and needing to get home. Jordan at Discount tire told me it would be an hour and half which is way better then Walmarts 3 hours. It was pulled inside with within 30 minutes and I was out of there in less then an hour. I had a flat tire on the road and AAA towed me to a competitor (initials T D). As I knew I had a warranty with this store and company, I asked TD to put my flat tire back in my trunk. I then took my car back to the Discount Tire store in Liberty Township OH a few days later. They showed me where the other store had put the wrong tire on my car, and Discount Tire replaced it with the correct tire at no charge--because I have a warranty and they are honest. And oh yeah, the dishonest competitor did not put my tire back in my car as they claimed they did--they just threw in a random used tire, not even the same size. I can't say enough about Tim and the other personnel at Discount Tire. Originally, I priced tires at Tire Discounter and was not pleased with the customer service. Neither was I please with the price I was a quoted. A week later, I went to Discount Tire and spoke with Tim. He made me feel like my business was valued. Tire Discounters made me feel as if my business was not important to them. I even saved $120.00 over the price that their competitor had quoted me. want to pay for something that's not broken? Come here! I bet your struts need replaced! I gave them a second chance, last year they did an alignment but didn't call so see if I wanted to replace tires that were old. Just aligned it, waited for me to show up, then asked if I could wait 2 hours for new tires. Went again About 18 months later. Same car that they aligned suddenly needs struts, same for my neighbor when he went there. weird! Both of us went to separate mechanics after leaving tire discounters and neither of us needed new struts. I'm never going there again. read more

The staff in this store is terrific. They are honest, move very quickly to service your car and take care of you as well. I don't know about you, but when I go to a place where the staff is slow moving, it makes me feel like my time is not valued. These men and women hussle. That's appreciated. I stopped in this store because it happened to be close by and I had already tried a different tire center that told me my only option was to purchase 4 new tires. When we came to this place the staff were short a 3 members, but they checked the tires and immediately got to working on it. They were also friendly ( a HUGE plus!) These guys are great. I have never had top notch service like this from tire discounters. They are friendly, fast and efficient. If there's a rebate most of the paperwork was filled out all you have to do is send it in. I went in for a rotation after I bought the tires and the beauty cover broke. I'm a super satisfied customer with the excellent service at this location. In fact, I was so satisfied with Mike's customer service that I came back with our other car the next day, even though we're from out of town. I felt that he cared about me and my family's safety on the road and made sincere recommendations based on his wealth of experience working with tires and wheels at a top of the line company. Mike also made me feel welcome by offering me cold water and hot coffee while waiting for my new tires to be put on in the spacious air conditioned waiting area where I could look at the work being done on our cars. However, I must say that these guys work fast! Within no time I was in and out. Dakota made sure I was completely satisfied and told me everything I needed to know about my new tires. Chris, the manager, was sure to point out that my rear axel had an issue they unfortunately couldn't fix. Whenever I'm in town I'll be back here for all my tire and wheel needs.
