I have gotten to know some of the staff and enjoy all of the friendly conversations while they are working on my car. They have cameras so you can see what is happening in front of and below your car which is an added plus. During one visit they were replacing my rear windshield wiper and something snapped, they were very apologetic and offered to replace the broken part for free. They ordered the part they needed to replace everything and I went back a week later and they were able to fix it very quickly. As long as their level of customer service continues I will keep going back!

But I never really spoke to her, I'd only speak to this man who may have been manager/owner or just the primary desk person. He always seemed a bit condescending to me, but I chalked this up to being tired of angry customers mad they have to pay to maintain their car. I really did think I was getting the best service, and I would convince myself my instincts were wrong and maybe I was insecure because I was in a place with experts on something I didn't know much about. It has been 2 years now since I got a new battery from Monro. I had this battery replaced for a pretty penny, and now 2 years later it needed to be replaced again. The technician told me they used a cheap, low quality battery. They fixed it for about 3/4 the price Monro did without me even mentioning what Monro charged. Also, this is funny to admit but I was told during the battery replacement at Monro that my windshield washer pump was going to cost around 300-400 for service and parts. I declined doing this because I only could pay for the battery at the time. 2 years goes by, I finally decide I want my wiper fluid again. This shop charges $200 for install and parts. All the while telling me what codes were read and what they meant. The FARTHEST from condescending. I feel that Monro was taking advantage of the fact I had little knowledge of how to take care of my car and would purposefully ignore issues so they could charge me their base service rate to come back again and add it onto the bill. I don't know if this is a management issue or the mechanics I dealt with specifically, but either way. I'm hoping to save someone the trouble of being over-charged and under-serviced.

Started my day off this morning with a flat tire. The pressure was about 60% of what it should be…read moreadded some air and at the end of my workday it had dropped another 10 psi. So I knew I had a puncture or tear. Took the car to the dealership and they saw a nail in the tire, but said I had to get a whole new tire versus doing a flat repair even though the nail was in a repairable area. They refused to repair it because it is a run flat, even though they had done it in the past. I've gone to tire discounters before I got this new car and always had a pleasant experience. I called the tire discounters at this Kenwood location from the dealership and asked if they could squeeze me in to do a flat repair. Mind it, it was already 5:15 PM and they close at 6 PM so I knew I was asking for a lot. However, the gentleman on the phone was very nice and asked how far I was and when I replied 6 minutes away, he said to come on in. Once I got there, the gentleman inside was very polite and helpful. He reassured me that the tire could be fixed based on the picture I showed him. They took me in right away and confirmed that the tire was repairable. Less than 20 minutes and I was out the door, barely sat down. To top it off, they didn't even charge me anything and had me on my way. This tire discounters location really knows how to lift people up when you are having a bad day since having to fix a flat is inconvenient and just starts your day off in a sad mood. I will definitely be coming back here for any future needs like this. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. You made my day!
