Honest crew who is knowledgeable and super fast!!! We were on our way home to SF from San Simeon when the car started sounding funny. Then the tire pressure warning came on. We pulled over to a gas station in the edge of King City to try and put air back in the tire. As the tire filled back up, we could hear air hissing out. The 7-11 lady was nice enough to call these guys for us. We drove the 2 miles over. When they took the tire out to inspect, we could see that it was slashed on two spots. We must've driven over a piece of scrap metal or something! Within 15 mins, they had replaced and rebalanced all 4 tires. And we were back on the road again! Considering we were in a pinch, I was wholly expected to get fleeced. These guys were honest and charged us what Costco would've charged us for new tires and installations. Just after this past Thanksgiving I was returning home to Santa Cruz from Santa Barbara on 101. Some highway road debris completely cut through my rear tire. Fortunately it was a run flat so we were able to continue driving at a reduced speed. I was 20 miles south of King City. I called Tire King who said they would try to get me going again. They had the same size tire which they mounted in less that half an hour. And they charged a very reasonable price for the new tire and the mount/dismount and balance. I also found out they have trucks for on site road service had I not been able to drive in. Thank you Tire King for getting us back on the road again so quickly. We ran over what appeared to be one of the tacks from a tack strip (chasing a bad guy). It quickly took all of the air out of our tire and we didn't see a gas station so I pulled over at the exit when two SUPER nice CHP officers stopped and guided us to Tire King (they will get the next review...can you review CHP officers?). Jose, the owner was trying to do everything he possibly could to help (we have a $500 tire who no one carries in stock) He had to leave quickly but he left us in the capable hands of one of the workers (wish I could remember his name because he was also nice and helpful). We ended up having our space holder tire put on but not before we have a pleasant conversation with Jose, who had come back. What an ethical, trustworthy guy...and friendly to boot. They all made an unpleasant situation unforgettable. Did I mention the CHP office called us at Tire King and asked us if their tack strip caused our flat. They are now reimbursing us for the tire. Let me just start off by saying I'm black, so when I pulled in and got out the car, everybody just looked at me and act like I don't exist. 10 mins later I attempted to change the tire my self and my car fell. I asked all the employees do anybody work here and how do I get help, one of them point to a office with no signage. I walked in the office only to see the own on the phone staring at me through a tinted window, then he shut it.I looked in disbelief and walked out, not even a minute later a Caucasian couple walked in and was greeted with friendly service. I walked back up to the owner and asked him do you not want me here I need help, he then stated that they were too busy to help. They explained our issues (we had a slightly bent wheel), and sold us a new tire at a very reasonable cost. They balanced and rotated the tires, and told us we were safe to continue our travels, but to get the wheel checked at the dealer when we got home. They moved the damaged wheel to the back to prevent vibrations. We were so pleased we found them and would recommend them to anyone needing auto and tire service. Please make this your first call for any tire needs in King City! I was stopping to meet somebody in King City when I pulled into a driveway apron to close and tore both passenger tires on the sidewalls. My tires are not a common size and I needed two of them and to get back home two hours away asap, so I was starting to panic quick. Based on reviews, I called Tire King auto express first, and boy was I glad I did!! The owner of the company was on it instantly. He dispatched a wonderful guy (Jose L) who is at my car in a matter of minutes. He actually moved like he was in a hurry! He whipped those tires off and was to the shop and back with new tires aired up and ready to go in 10 minutes and I was on my way! Fortunately, my flat(s) happened next to a burrito shop and an ice cream truck went by, so I can honestly say this was the best flat tire(s) experience I have ever had in my life by far! Inconvenience was never an issue, and even though the tires and service was extremely reasonably priced (less than expected and I didn't even quote them up front) it was worth the money just to restore my faith in American business! Check engine light turned on driving on the freeway, stopped and checked yelp for a nearby mechanic. Jose picked up the phone on the second ring and was able to fit me in very quickly. In King City for fair and I am writing this on behalf of my mom. Her Chevy Tahoe decided to take a dump on her on her way back to Atascadero, smoke coming from under tire area, brakes acting funny. This was a Friday 05/19/17 and we called around since she could not drive the 60 miles home, told to drop off and they would look at in am. We didn't get it towed there till 6 pm and someone from shop was there and they were able to fix our problem Sat and let up pick it up on Sunday. Don't know who we spoke to on Sunday but he got the job done and happy with it! The problem ended up being the AC compressor which of AC was supposedly just recharged about 6-8 weeks ago at West Coast Towing in Atascadero but obviously they did a faulty job! So grateful they got her truck repaired and we didn't have to tow home or come back Monday! Highly recommend! Thank you so much!!!!! read more

Jose owns this auto repair and car wash location - I was driving north on a Sunday when my clutch took the "no work on Sunday's" literally and gave out about a mile south of King City. I was towed here and Jose came in and opened the shop to take my car in so it could be looked at first thing Monday morning. The repair went very smooth and was quick to be done considering the hassle to get Scion parts out this way. We had a tire blow out on our motorhome about 12 miles south of King City. We called and talked to Jose (owner) who immediately jumped to our rescue. In less than an hour he had one of his workers (Jose also) dispatched to our rescue with a new tire. Jose quickly attacked our problem, removed the blown tire (inside dual) and had the new one on in about 40 minutes. We were back on the road in less than three hours. Yes!! Expensive and sloppy!! I went in for front brakes, and my vehicle wasn't left the same. I called the next day and the owner or manager of the place blamed me! I saw absolutely no professionalism on the site. That manager or owner cared more about pleasing "the boys" that worked for him than running the place like it ought to..It was a huge disappointment! to be charged SO much and end up with slop!
