On 7/29/25 My 16 year old daughter experienced her first downside of having your own car! She walked up to find her tire flat. A co-worker was able to fill her tire with air with a portable compressor. I told her I would meet her at Tire Kingdom in Apopka. Wow! Awesome customer service! Although it was busy, they fit us in and as suspected, the cause of the flat was a large screw. See photo. They told us they should be able to patch it. Sure enough they were able to, then reset the tire sensor and all was done. When I asked how much I owed them, was told no charge, would just hope we consider them for future tire and general automotive needs. Are you kidding me? I purchased 4 new tires for my Ford F250 here 2 weeks ago . Immediately when I pulled out of the parking lot the Tpms light came on . This light came on for the rear drivers side tire . After returning the truck back to the shop and telling them that the light was not on prior to them changing my tire and was on after they changed my tires they told me it was coincidence and that it was not possible for them to have damaged my tpsm sensor while changing the tire . long story short I had to purchase not one but 2 tpms and pay to have them installed . After a quick google search I discovered that not only is it possible it is somewhat common for the sensor to get damaged during tire change outs . The dishonesty of the statement that it was possible is shocking . The tech saying that it wasn't possible wasn't even working the night I had the tires changed . I have used Tire Kimgdom for years although not this location . I will certainly never bring my truck here again and most likely my relationship with TK is over . read more

I made an appointment for an oil change about a week and a half ago. I went in for the oil yesterday and had a good experience. The business is clean, I was greeted helped right away, and the guy who helped me also helped change my name in his system because it was spelled wrong. My car takes only synthetic oil and I had a coupon so it only cost me $87. The service was done in about 45 minutes and I was on my way. Went to the store while speaking with sales services as the store manager was quoting my wife's tires i told the store manager that corporate quoted me a lower price, he start giving me attitude about how he can't change the price and how by lowering the price quoted by corporate he'll be making a 2-4 dollar profit... at that point i just told him i dont want for him to do anything on my car in fear i get (whole or something worst) that he could do out of spite. Don't recommend the place . Apparently safety for the customers are not important apparently making more than 4 dollar profit is a must for them. That i completely understand but not when is an emergency situation and dont have enough money for the most expensive tire in the shop. Called customer service and after 1 hour i just ended up going to another place . Definitely walmart is way better and less hassle.I DONT RECOMMEND ! read more

I've been getting my tire service here for about about a year now. I got a good deal on 4 tires when they were running a sale that came with a hazard warranty, tire rotations, and an alignment. The work they have done on my car has been good and they have never recommended work that I didn't need. Price-wise, they seem about on par with other shops. My reason for three stars is because of how long it takes them to get work done. When I purchased 4 tires I was quoted one hour on the phone and then quoted an hour and a half when I got there. I went first thing in the morning and I was the only car in the shop; it ended up taking two and a half hours. Not the biggest problem ever, but it made me get to work much later than I expected based on their initial time quote to me. Now when I get work done I either plan to drop off my car to pick up later or just bring my work laptop with me. read more

Went for an oil change, they replaced all of my tires without permission. Now I have to worry about the tires being put back on in the wrong spot. Told me my tires were bad so they could not rotate them when they still have 35% of tread left according to the wear guide on the tire. This is not the first time they lied about things needing repair.This is the worst place to go. Never Again. read more

2017 Ford F350 Diesel 102,000 mil. I stopped there to have one of the techs/counter guy look at my tires because I was concerned they are coming apart, chip outs, deep dry rot type lines. We found out I bought them 3 years 10 months ago. He told me the warranty had expired after 3 years. So I would be shopping around for new tires I suppose $ 1300 dollars give or take for new tires. He (20 something) wouldn't even bend over to look at what I was trying to show him to see if this is normal. I was wondering if I should buy the same tire again. He asked if I drive in the mud, I told him if it was present on the road or job site that I did. He said that helps them dry rot faster. So don't drive thru mud folks. long story short- I have bought my tires for 3 vehicles there for years & years, but because of the lack of concern to look at my issue, they don't want my business so I will no longer buy from them. Discount Tire Apopka shows concern and there new tires are being installed now. GOOD LESSON- If you have good service you tell someone, If you have bad service you tell Everyone, and I have a large family and followers online. That should be enough to deter some folks. read more

I've been to Tire Kingdom a few times, both in the old, and the new location that they just moved to here in Apopka. It seems wildly inconsistent here. On my purchase of tires there, I had the sales person over the phone go out of their way to not only help me beat the best price offer I had elsewhere, but to get me the tires that night (I called in the afternoon), and have them on for me first thing the next day. This was at the old location. Now at the new location, I needed and oil change, and decided to drop the car off on a Saturday with no appointment. I didn't really need it for much of the day, and didn't worry about a longer wait time. I was quoted 3 hours, which is a bit long, but whatever, it was a busy day and they had just moved, so I figured it might not be great. I came back at 3 hours exactly, and the car had not been touched yet. They immediately worked on it, and got it done in 20 minutes, but my guess is that if I had not have come back then, I would have been waiting even longer. Overall, I'll go back another time to see if this was a new store hiccup, or if this is just how it is done now. Just be aware that if you don't have an appointment, you might have to be a bit pushy to get things done, which is not overall great customer service. read more

Bought new tires seven month ago. when I bought them I wanted a warranty and told them. Their response Was "your car needs an alignment And without one we can't warranty your tires". I wanted the warranty so I bought the alignment. Fast forward to today and I take my car in and they say I got a chunk of metal in my tire and they can't replace it. So I have to pay for a new tire because the warrenty they "sold" me doesn't include the damage They claim I had a chunk of metal bigger than a nail, when it was a copper nail. I have a picture to prove it. Won't ever go there again, I would never recommend them to someone else. Great way to treat customers especially during a pandemic. read more

While previously had good results with this location not so today 10/06/2017 Replaced tires but failed to return the theee with tread still left. Charged me the tire disposal fee, claimed tire pick up was already done for day...ect ect I had asked for them back but now they are gone. I won't take my business here again. Absolutely pathetic. I got in my car and called them so I could get a quote while on my way there. Someone picked up and asked me to hold. I drove the whole 25 minutes to the shop. And as I was backing in, someone finally picked up the phone and asked how he could help. Unbelievable. I walked in and there was a total of 4 men in the front by computers. And none of them realized that there was a call out. I walked in and got a quote for a tire. Asked how long it would take and they said several hours. I said F' that and walked out. In full disclosure, I'm not a car guy. I'm guessing my car has an engine since each time I turn the key the engine starts but I really have no idea how to open the hood. I have a company car through a leasing service and my only requirement is that I have it serviced on a regular basis. After my recent relocation to Apopka I needed to find a new service location for my sled. A service location that accepts my leasing service, at this point Tire Kingdom is my new home. These guys suck. Bought 4 tires 6 months ago for a car with 30,000 miles on it and they told me they won't warrenty the tires unless I pay for an alignment. I did it whatever I new they wher full of crap. Behold I get a copper nail in the tire in the top of the tread and the tire is un fixable and I have to buy a new tire because there road hazard doesn't cover it. Worst place to get tires from. Should have just went to wallmart paid 10 bucks to get it fixed. read more

Even if you arrive at 7 a.m. - implying that you are attempting to get the vehicle in and get the work started - they take their sweet-a*% time getting out from the garage into the customer intake area. The work was done reasonably quickly, but, when I went to pick up the vehicle - again - had to wait for 5-10 minutes before someone turned up in the lobby to help me get my car back. read more

Since then I have scheduled two appointments for oil changes, both of which have taken hours plus. I could understand it taking this long as a walk in. I went there for an oil change and my car has no oil leak and it is only two years old car. Main point for taking the car so I can save $20 on tire rotation. They have broken the oil pan screw and blamed it on my previous oil change place where I have been going there for last one year without any issue. They were trying to charge me $500 for changing oil pan and the whole thing. I have called my mechanic he informed I do not need that he will do the whole thing include oil change only for $110. It was a disastrous day. I had to call my insurance for tow truck and get it delivered to my mechanic's home. I wish I never go to this place. Horrible service to reap off people. For trying to saving $20 now I am end up paying 7 time more including these hassel and loss of my vehicle. I do not have any way to sue them but I can tell others please do yourself a favor never go to this place. read more

My girlfriend took her car in to have her new wheels balanced and after waiting for an hour they tell her the lug nuts are on too tight and even there strongest gun couldn't get them off and sent her packing. Hmmm funny because I used a lithium ion impact gun not nearly as strong as an air impact to put them on. Apparently the little girls in your shop can't pick up a tire iron and do it the old fashioned way, wouldn't want them to break a little sweat I guess. read more

While doing an over-the-phone quote, the rep was able to give an agreeable price to replace the two rear tires on my mother's Corolla. I scheduled an appointment and went over to get it taken care of. There were three bays open and two mechanics working. I knew I might have a few people ahead of me, but heck, it's only two tires, right? Ha. It took over an hour for the car to get put on the lift (which was insanely aggravating, considering the appointment, but whatever). After the car was finally up, I felt like I was in the home stretch. Wrong. Into the garage walk two guys in street clothes and the two mechanics stop working and begin a conversation. A twenty minute conversation. They finally leave and the mechanic goes back to the car. Then his phone rings and he takes the call. I'm watching from the waiting area, halfway to losing my temper so I bring it to the attention of the desk attendant. He tries to tell me he's working on the tires. He is not. After a while, the desk guy goes out and says something to him and he gets off the phone. Finally (fin-a-f**king-lly), he changes the tires, which takes approximately two minutes. I pay the guy and get out of there before I lose my cool. Had I known two tires would take almost two hours with an appointment and only one other person ahead of me, I would have put the damn things in my trunk and changed them in my driveway. Heres the Real deal on this place. This is going to be a long one so sit back and enjoy. I moved to Apopka about 2 years ago and this place is nice and clean and close to home. So I decided to stop in with My Nissan 300zx one day to have a Power steering belt and a A/C belt done along with an oil change. My car was running great when I brought it in that day around noon. I knew I needed the belts from the squeeking. I Went to pick it up at 5pm when I got off work the car started violently shaking and wouldn't fire on cylinder 5. So with $275 later and my cars runs worse than when I brought it in. They wanted nothing to do with helping me and recommended another competitor to find the problem. Went in with 4 new tires for my Wifes Kia Soul on a nice Saturday. They were very willing to install the tires I had gotten a hundred dollars cheaper than them on ebay.I Went that day with my brother and we went to the gym next door and worked out for an hour and a half only to return and find they have yet to bring my car into the bay. So lets just say I was pretty upset that I waited ANOTHER hour and a half! for them to finish. 3 HOURS! TO PUT ON TIRES! So about 4-5000 miles later we go to a Valvoline to have a tire rotation and oil change. The gentleman tells us that who ever put these tire on mounted them backwards. So in technical terms the tires are directional tires and must spin a certain way. TIRE KINGDOM had put 3 of them on backwards. Wow 3 hours and you still cant seem to get this right can you guys. Now for the reason im writing this review. I brought my Hyundai Tiburon that I had just purchased from a girl on craigslist into the shop for a full inspection. A full inspection that cost me twenty bucks plus I got a oil change done. I had brought it in because of a bad shaking and grinding from the front end. I wanted to know what was wrong so I can order parts for the car accordingly. So after work I went to pick up the car and then behold a $2683.98 dollar (needs to be done) bill. Granted most of which is your typical Flush your coolant, change your brake fluid, clean the injectors type stuff. I saw the bearings were bad in the front. So I ordered front wheel bearings and proceeded to find a good mechanic to fix the problem. Well we went to take off the front wheel to start the hub job and popped off the lug cover and found that (ALL) of the lug nuts were about 2 threads from falling off. The wheel was just about ready to fall of on both sides. And the lugs were on backwards. The girl who had the car before me wasn't very smart and had left me with a death trap. So tell me this Tire Kingdom how do you claim to do a full inspection on a car if you can even take a wheel off to check basic stuff. You charge me 19.99 for a full inspection and failed to even take a tire off. Im sorry but you guys arent real mechanics. Your tire changers, and from what I have seen in these last visits you might wanna find new people who are actually certified or at least not brain dead and dangerous to your company. Not to mention the real mechanic has found that half the stuff I was quoted as NEEDING! for the car isn't even a problem. So think about this before you decide to have your car serviced from this place. Don't be fooled and get a second opinion. read more

I was almost as deflated as the tire when I rolled into the place, figuring I was going to be turned back late in the day or get some typical mechanical shop talk about how busy they were or maybe it was going to be some sweet shop lovin' -coaxing me into buying a new tire or two or hell maybe even brakes and a piece of property. These guys stepped up, squeezed me in, and I was out of the place in 30 minutes. Goodbye nail, hello grin, and the best thing about it...they charged me zero $$ because the tires were originally purchased with them. It really is true, they do honor this perk! Here I thought it was another pitch at the point of purchase! I never felt so warm and cozy while being nailed! I went in there with a small leak in a tire that is about half way worn out. After an hour and a half I finally got out of there with my vehicle and their refusal to repair the tire. I even purchased this set of tires there previously. They said they measured the tire tread near the edge of the tire and determined the tire was unsafe and would have to be replaced. This was after they told me my vehicle failed the alignment check and weak battery test. The battery was fine and the alignment was borderline. I will take my tire somewhere else to get it repaired and I will never set foot in another Tire Kingdom store. read more
