I had my last oil change and tire rotation here and they quoted me 45mins. I walked around the shopping plaza close by for 30mins and car was waiting for me when I got back. They were super nice and even applied a coupon I did not have on me! I'll be back. read more

THEY ARE SO SLOW!!!!! They take their time seeing customers when they first come in. They take their time getting started on your car. And they take their time getting your car back to you when they're done. Also did I mention OVER PRICED!!!! This place sucks and I won't be back. read more

As I write this review, I'm waiting at another tire shop to remove a roofing nail from my right front tire INSTEAD of driving to Saint Augustine as I'd planned. Last night, (Saturday), I discovered a roofing nail in my LEFT front tire (one of many left behind by the roofers' cleanup crew that had just left my house . . . but that's another review!). Pulling over and checking my phone, I realized that I had just a few minutes to get to the one tire store in the area that was still open at that hour. I arrived a few minutes before their closing time of 6 p.m. and was, as noted in many of the otherwise negative reviews here, quite impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby and the garage. I apologized for arriving so close to the end of their day, and explained my problem. The manager asked which tire had the roofing nail in it, and I carefully explained that I'd found one in the front left but had no idea whether there were any more. He assured me that they'd check all of the tires for nails. The flat repair was on the expensive side ($32.99), but I had no options at that time. Instead of complaining about the price I thanked him profusely for taking the car in at the last minute, and I (now to my regret) even went around to the work area and thanked the two employees who'd stayed behind to work on my car--and gave each a tip. When my car was ready I walked outside to see them lowering it from a jack in the parking lot--they never put it on a lift!! I wondered how they were able to check all of the tires for nails. Soon I had my answer. Pulling out of the lot I saw the lights go dim in the now-closed Tire Kingdom location. Before I reached the speed limit I heard the tell-tale "click click click" from my open window alerting me that at least one tire still had a roofing nail in it. I pulled over into the closest parking lot and confirmed with the flashlight from my cell phone that the right front tire indeed had a roofing nail it, which is why I'm now waiting (and paying) for yet another flat repair instead of making my way to Saint Augustine. Disclaimer: I cannot blame the workers mentioned here. Their manager said he'd make sure they checked the other tires and he failed to do that. It had to have been with his permission, or on his instructions, that they worked on the car in the parking lot instead of bringing it into the garage and putting it on the lift. While the manager was friendly and accommodating, and despite his assurances about the thorough and professional job his team would do, he failed to make that happen. If he had any thought about me having a 70mph blowout on I-95 on my way to Saint Augustine there is no evidence of it in the way he handled this situation. read more

I am so upset after getting an oil change here. It actually started when we moved to the area and we're excited this location was conveniently located for car maintenance. We gave this place numerous chances. And the following review seems nitpicking but these are our cars, kinda important. Plus when you're used to good, thorough service, this place is unacceptable. We made appt. for oil change but apparently it didn't take in the computer and when my husband arrived, was told nope, no appt and we r very busy. You would think they would help make another appt. to make sure it's done right. Nope, don't seem to care. Gave them second chance because it's close. Took it for flat tire, almost went home without the hub cap. Ok, third chance, oil change, told needed shocks and struts, but tires ok. Agreed to shocks. Got call that it needed tires, WHAT! I was told it didn't need tires just shocks. Now I really don't have faith in these people, so I took my other vehicle to another shop for brakes but decided, against my better judgment to return to this tire kingdom for easy, quick oil change. Told me I needed ball joints when they forcefully "moved" the tire said it had "play", I declined will take it elsewhere for those. Then I asked the manager when he told me about the ball joints if the liquids were topped off, he assured me they were. Well, after thinking about the bad experiences i checked the liquids myself at home and guess what, the window washer fluid was empty, . Makes me wonder what else was done wrong. I'm afraid my tires will fall off. Not only was their service terrible, but they smile but don't listen, when I try to explain things they totally don't listen, disregard it and doesn't get done. Bottom line, I feel like they do the minimum and don't really care. Just mark off jobs they don't do. I hope my oil is actually changed. I don't care if this place was next door to my house, I'll drive further for better service. Oh yeah forgot to mention they didn't put a window sticker reminder for my next oil change on. read more

This is the second time that I've tried this place. The first time was for a tire. They promptly got my van on the lift and there it sat. The mechanics move as if they were in slow motion. 2 hours for a single tire when the shop only had a few cars in it. Pitiful. So I waited a few months to give them a chance to get their act together. This time I made an appointment for an oil change. I arrived 10 mins early. They courteously took my information and my car key. After sitting in their waiting room for 1/2 hour, watching their mechanics move in slow motion, without my car even being pulled into the shop, I asked them if my car would be done in another 1/2 hour. They said, "no". Even with an appointment they wouldn't get to my car within an hour. Sorry. I don't have time to sit in Tire Kingdom for 1/2 a day. I will NEVER go back. Incidentally, a woman who arrived 1/2 hour before me for an oil change was sitting there, irate, as her car sat on the lift for an hour without being touched. I would choose 0 stars if it were an option. You advertise no need for an appointment for an oil change yet every time we come there in the morning on a Saturday or Sunday we are told that there is no way you are going to get to it today... Seriously??? Sounds like you need a new manager. read more

Unbelievable!!! STAY AWAY!! We went in to get 2 new tires for a Mercedes CL250 and they wanted to charge $846.00 for tires and an alignment. Because one tire was flat and it being the July 4th weekend, I agreed to pay the price. After 6 hours of waiting for a phone call they informed me the work was done and to come and pick up the vehicle. When I arrived we noticed that the treads on the new tires had wear. They tried to tell us that the tires they put on the car were the wrong size and that they ordered new tires which would be there in 2 days. Mind you they did not say this when they called. Had I not protested they would allowed us to drive off with used tires for $846.00. I do not recommend anyone use this retailer. These people are deceptive, overpriced and do not deliver on what you pay for. They are good at what I will call "Counter Manners" but they are not honest to the customer. read more

This Tire Kingdom Store diagnosed a potentially dangerous problem that we had not been aware of (a broken red spring). They provided a reasonable estimate nd when the work was completed they came in under estimate, a unique experience in my auto repair dealings. read more
