I made an appointment for a tire rotation. I was told multiple times it would definitely be done within an hour of my arrival time. My wife and I dropped off the car and went for a walk. We came back after exactly an hour and the car still hadn't been moved. We ended up having to wait another 35 minutes before we got the car back. They told me they would do an alignment check as well which was never done. I had a similar experience with this shop when I purchased the tires 6 months ago. I was happy with the price I got the tires for, but the service was slow. Last time, they took over 90 minutes longer than the promised time. I get it. Sometimes things get busy...but I have given them two chances now and both times I was disappointed. Don't plan on getting anything done quick here. If you are dropping off, then it may be fine. But if you are needing something done and don't have the ability to drop-off, plan for a good chunk of your day to be consumed and don't trust the given timelines. Hopefully they can improve the accuracy of their time estimates or better prioritize their customers to ensure better customer service. read more

THIS! THIS RIGHT HERE!! This is why I stopped doing ANY business with this company. Look at the picture, you can see the hole where there was a screw in the tire. Brought it in to the store on Semoran, just a little from State Road 50. Tire was leaking air, representative comes out looks at the tire and where the screw is we call that the "bridge" of the tire. (I'm making up a word here because I don't recall the stupidity blathered out of his mouth) So we can't repair it. BUT I can sell you a new tire! Now get this, all 4 tires are 60 days old with PLENTY of tread on them. I told him Thanks, but no thanks!! I left and went down the street to another shop, showed them the tire, told them What discount tire said and they couldn't use enough profanity to describe them!!! Not top of the line, and not bottom either. So I had discount mount and balance the tires. Got the truck back, pulled out and my IFS truck was shaking like it had Jeep death wobble. Immediately turned around, told them it's not right and to rebalance. They tried again, got truck back, same thing. I told them it's not right, I'm not happy with how much shake is in the steering wheel. Salesman said "well if you bought better tires from us you wouldn't be having this problem" which made me rather mad to have that sort of customer service. Drove from there straight to Toyota of Orlando and had them balanced on their road-force balancer. And wouldn't you know it, they rode smooth as a Cadillac. Fast forward to today. I went with my dad to be his ride for him to drop his truck off there. Pretty much same scenario, he bought tires elsewhere and was having discount balance his tires on his truck, despite my warnings. Same thing, they couldn't balance them after two attempts. Sales manager said we shouldn't have worked on the truck in the first place, the tires aren't rated for the truck, and if he would've bought tires from there originally they'd be able to take better care of him. E-rated BFG KO2's on a Ram 2500 which if you know a little about tires then you'd understand how comical that is. I told my dad he needs to go somewhere that actually road-force balances. Immediately as I parked an attendant was walking out to my car to address me, seconds later pulling vehicle into garage. Fast service from start to finish, this stop took 35 minutes tops. Winsel at desk informed me one tire had separated likely causing the shaking, so I purchased a new replacement tire. He kindly walked me through price options and what he recommended, no pressure whatsoever. Having bought this new and last tire from this company he waived the balancing fee. Nice clean lobby, decent coffee and a text when car was finished. Sanchez, the mechanic, drove it to front door and walked me through the work they did. Then he asked for my phone number, I said "no Thankyou", so he just froze. I look at him for awhile then ask him what he was doing. He replied, "I can't do the receipt without a phone number." THEN I tried giving him a fake number and he told me if it "didn't match the system" he couldn't sell me. I got a flat tire, they were super busy so I decided to just leave it there and pick it up later. I would continue driving with the spare for a few hours. Once there, I realized the spare was almost completely deflated, and a second tire was flat too. Jason was so humanly compassionate, he told me not to worry despite everyone working intensely. He just asked to give them time. A couple of hours later my car was ready, all tires checked, a valve replaced because it was broken, the spare tire carefully and cleanly put back and securely set in its place. Jason just gave the key and said: "you are all set, just consider us next time you need tires. For now your car is fine and you don't need to worry about anything". I had a spike (small) in my tire, they were really busy but did take the time to take the tire out of the back of my truck fill it up with air and said it was to dangerous to patch I would have to buy another tire. I am working here in Orlando and live in Atlanta. They said their " Safety " guy said it was to dangerous. I have road hazard insurance. On my tires but the shop that I bought them at is not located here in Orlando. So after work, I took my tire to Goodyear and I explained to them what the issue was. They took the tire off the room. They found a small hole where the spike had punctured the tire they patched it they filled it up, they put it back on my truck put my spare back where it belongs underneath my truck clean. My windshield charged me $27 for the patch. They were also busy but they took the time out to help out an out of towner. Thank you, Goodyear. I took my mini van in to get a low air pressure light checked out and this is my second stupid interaction at this place with a sales person. I really don't understand what the hell kind of training these guys get or how their pay incentives work but I'm sick of going here and having the safety garbage being pulled on me to "buy a new set of tires". The sales guy tells me OH MAN YOUR FRONT TIRES ARE ALL CHEWED UP ON THE INSIDE! while doing the raised eyebrows of concern and suggesting I should look at new tires. I asked if I could just get them rotated to the rears being that I had JUST INSPECTED my tires due to my low pressure light and had identified the tire with the low leak, I had a pretty good idea of what my tires look like and the rears had plenty of meat..nearly brand new. Your front tires take approximately 70% of the stress and wear during normal braking, so rotating some regularly worn tires to the rear and putting the thicker tire tread in the front is not a huge issue, no matter what these car tire places say to you. Well the sales guy says no they cant do that because BLAH BLAH BLAH. After a while the bald guy in the back that I've dealt with before rolls up with my vehicle and gives me a "hey we fixed the rear tire and I looked everything else over, it all looks good". He's given me level headed responses before, he's the guy you want at the front counter doing sales that will know what hes looking at and will gain trust from your customers. These sales guys can blow smoke all they want to push their $1000 set of tires to me, but what pisses me off is had this been my grandmother or some other family member just stopping in for help they would be rolling out with some big ass bill for no reason.
