Sorry to see so many bad reviews. I have had oil changes and tire rotations and tire repair/replacement, and even dropped in to check my tire pressure when the air was low. I have always had good service. I do make appointments to decrease wait time. I have been using this tire kingdom for 4-5 years with 3 different vehicles and no shortfalls yet. My advice: know what you want, and know how much it costs to get the repair or replacement before you get hit with sticker shock. Probably the most expensive thing is the labor fees. This is a national chain, so I don't know how there could be such price gouging as other's have stated. I have never had a problem here as someone who does not know much about cars! read more

Up sell, up sell, up sell. I've actually worked at a tire place before and know when a patched tire needs to be replaced. These guys tell you that you need new tires NO MATTER WHAT. I've got plenty of tread (yeah... I actually have a tire gauge you liars), and the nail is MIDDLE of the tire, nowhere near the sidewall. They act like they can't replace it for safety reasons and are just so worried about you... but you need all new tires. Or at least 2 new tires to keep it balanced. Well the tire with the nail in it had more tread than the others... so you were OK with me replacing that one but not the ones with less tread!?!? Now I remember why I didn't use you the last time... you wanted to charge me $800 for 4 new tires (before installing) that I got elsewhere for $450 installed. read more

Disappointed! I purchased 4 new tires just about a year ago with lifetime hazard and all kinds of warranties. I just had a nail in one of my tires and Tire Kingdom wanted to charge me almost what I paid for 4 tires to fix it, claiming my lifetime road hazard doesn't apply. I tried calling their Corporate and the response from the Customer Service Manager was that it sounds like I don't like them and should not go back there. I only buy Michelin tires and Tire Kingdom tried to tell me the tires they sold me are the worst ever and I needed all these upgrades for this one tire. Incredible. Problem got quickly solved by Discount Tire and Michelin directly for half the price with better tire including hazard insurance. I will never go back to Tire Kingdom!!! After a ridiculous blowout during rush hour on I-95, I was in desperate need of four shiny new tires for Rambo. Tirerack.com offered the best prices, and they ship to recommended installers. Tire Kingdom was the cheapest, and closest to my pad. I made an 11am appointment, and headed over. Staff was friendly, and told me I needed an alignment. I grudgingly agreed (not wanting to spend more since I just shelled out $900 for tires). He did offer me $15 off, which I appreciated. The inside of this place was COLD. I was freezing in the waiting area, which in itself left something to be desired. There were like two magazines and an old TV. The installation and alignment were supposed to take 1 1/2 hours, so they told me. Instead, it took 2 1/2 hours. That was rather annoying. Before I left, I asked to make sure the spare tire was put back underneath the truck. It wasn't. However, the guy who helped me came out and did it himself, which was really nice. He was cool all-around, which is really the only reason this place got 3 stars. Plus, the prices were pretty good - but otherwise there was nothing exceptional about this place. read more

It was a rainy, cold, hungover saturday afternoon. My tire light comes on...shit. I went to the nearest place I knew of off the top of my head...Tire Kingdom. The staff was polite, and attentive. I wanted just a rotation, pressure check etc which would have been around $30, I ended up needing me alignment fixed. They took me back into the shop and showed me the computer screen so that I could see with my own eyes just how off it was. Which was nice because Im a sceptic. They fixed it, gave me a one year warranty with free rotations, for about $112. I had some nice conversations with the others waiting for their cars to be worked on. Took about an hour or so. I will go back for my rotations, nice staff clean place. Wish I didn't have to watch cnn the whole time but whatever. read more

Sunday 2pm.. My tire light comes on. Pull over at a gas station and see that in one of the tires the valve is bent and I can not put air and in another tire I have a nail. I went to the nearest place I knew of off the top of my head, this Tire Kingdom. I came in seeking help and I got none . A very rude and lazy attendant refused to help me and gave me a bunch of excuses. I went to Tire plus literally across the street and I got all the help I needed. This issue was bigger than I thought and I end up replacing the 2 tires there. Congrats tire kingdom , probably you don't care but you lost a 515$ sale and a lifetime customer. read more

The batter replaced on 6/4/2015 was replaced today 8/6/15--elsewhere. This time it lasted 2 months! I still have a nice warranty on this 60 month battery but due to the horrible experience that I have had with this place, I would rather forfeit my warranty than have to pay another arm and a leg to have it replaced again in the near future. Folks, don't buy their batteries. You get a warranty but then have to pay a lot to have it replaced because the warranty is on the battery not the labor. What a racket. read more

Bait and switch business. They don't honor their online price. They don't mention that most of the appointments they accept online show a "total amount due " that they will NOT honor. They hide the new price in their highly overcrowded documents that you sign in 5 seconds BECAUSE YOU ARE DISTRACTED. There is a reason this place has low ratings..THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. I was told my front brake pads were less than 3mm, and the rotors and suspension control arms needed replacing for a total of $1200. I took it across the road to another auto shop and they showed me my brake pads which were at 6mm and found no cracks or issues with the suspension control arms. This shop found issues that were not there and tried to screw me over. I will not bring any business here or recommend it to others. read more

Making the appointment was the easy part. I walked in and saw my name on the scrolling board; I made my appointment on line. The attendant was somewhat friendly and offered to make a better deal for me. I have a corporate discount. I accepted the deal and waited about 2 hours. The coffee machine did not work and the television was on a station I wasn't much interested in watching. After about 2 hours, I thought about asking about the status of my vehicle. I noticed one of the workers in the back placed my keys and work papers in the completed box. I figured I would be out in the next few minutes. Well, it seemed that the staff was preoccupied with chatting it up with other customers than tending to the tasks at hand. I ended up having to tell them myself that my vehicle was ready. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this tire kingdom location. Hopefully other tire kingdom locations are better. Started off pleasant with the typical upselling of services that are not needed. Regardless, tires were there and were switched. Important to note I was trying to be up sold on a set of tires that were going to have better warranty. It was only 5K more miles. Went to pick up the car and the rims were damaged. Some damage was there from before. But there was new damage. The response was there's no way we can do that. The staff does not care and just wants to upswell you on services. I had Similar experience at Goodyear with a previous car. The difference, they do not lie and admit when they made an error. They charged me almost $1300 for four car tires then told me I needed brake work. They didn't have the brake parts in stock so asked me to pay for them upfront. I read bad reviews about the shop and decided to have the work done some place else. I called at the shop to pick up the parts I paid for but then they wanted to charge me more money for them because I didn't want them to fit the parts. CUSTOMERS BEWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE YOU LET THEM DO ANY WORK AND DONT PAY FOR PARTS UPFRONT. read more

Sketchy and unprofessional. ZERO STARS. I had a flat tire that needed a patch. Had called ahead of time to find out pricing and availability. Representative was helpful and gave me the standard price of $19.99 plus tax. Not bad. I arrived at the Bird road location which did not seem very busy, maybe two cars ahead of me, however, the sales rep explained that it would be a 3 hour wait. Understandable, I guess, I didn't have an appointment. The same rep. Explained to me that if I "throw the old guy in the back a $20" he would take care of my right away. Personally, I didn't think I should have to bribe a professional to let me "cut the line" nor did I think that was fair to the other people who had been waiting. I decided to make an appointment for the following day, no problem. Upon examining my car, the mechanic said that I actually had two flats that could be patch and it would be $84. Surprised, and feeling a bit mislead, I asked them to explain their pricing that had doubled. He said, in more or less words that "it had to do with the type of car and tire, and some are more difficult to fix, because they were bigger, if it was a Corolla or smaller car it would be $19.99". Never heard of such a thing AND they knew what type of car I had from the previous day when I had brought it in to make the appointment and fill out the paper work. I called two other Tire Kingdom locations to inquire about their pricing and they both gave me the same price, $19.99, regardless of car, type of tire, size, etc. I explained what I had gone through and the very professional representative at the location on 8th st, apologized and offered to take care of me. (Extremely happy with the 8th ave location! Go there if you appreciate professionalism and customer service). I tried several times to call bird road location and speak with a manager, but the representative continued to give me reasons not to put me through, explaining he was busy, in the back, stocking tires, or already left for the day. I brought my car in for one tire replacement after hitting a pothole and blowing out a tire (tires were only 2 months old). I told them I had the wheel with the bad tire in the trunk and the replacement wheel lock in the glove box, I drove in on the spare. About 10 min after driving my tire pressure light came on and it was at 32 psi. At first I thought maybe the rim had been damaged and wasn't holding pressure so I re inflated the tire when I arrived home and it was fine. While inflating the tire I noticed my wheel lock also wasn't replaced and the weight was missing from the rim. I promptly contacted Tire Kingdom to let them know of the problems I experienced. The gentlemen that answered the phone was extremely nice but when he asked the mechanic who worked on the car if he replaced the wheel lock and used the wrong tire pressure, the mechanic began barking furiously at him. I immediately asked to speak with the mechanic directly and he began barking at me as well. I quickly pointed out the mistakes that were made and he immediately changed his tone offering to fix any issues that were encountered. Appreciated but I passed. Installed the wheel lock and inflated tire to proper pressure on my own. I won't know if the wheel was properly balanced until I hit the highway. While the staff was initially very friendly, and it's the only reason I didn't leave one star, the whole experience left me with a horrible view of the establishment and it was just replacing one tire. CONNIVING AS THEY COME! FIND ANOTHER PLACE. Went to this location last year to get one repair, ended up having to spend almost 2k on items my car didn't actually need. They didn't balance my car properly, so my two front tired got damaged and now THEY DON'T HONOR THE WARRANTY and tried tricking into paying for something that should clearly be free under warranty. Do yourself a favor and avoid a headache. I've been taking my car to this Tire Kingdom for years and have dealt with just about every major repair on my Honda Civic (from new tires, struts/shocks, suspension, radiator replacement, dead alternator, engine leaks, air conditioning leaks, flat tires, etc). The sales reps and managers are honest and upfront and will say it like it is. It may not be convenient to your wallet to know that you need 4 new tires - but trust me - after having a tire blowout on the highway from wear/dry rot, stay safe and buy the new tires. No matter what, it's going to cost money to have your car fixed. Shop labor costs are $105/hour and if you are likely also paying a premium for parts that you could otherwise buy on your own. My Honda Civic is 13 years old, with nearly 197,000 miles and still running great, largely because of the regular maintenance and work I've had done at this Tire Kingdom. I wasn't always happy having to pay the bill, but that's part of the deal that comes with owning a car (especially one that is over 5 years old). I continue to take my car to this Tire Kingdom, because it's convenient, cost-effective for routine repairs (oil changes, new tires, etc), and I can take 6 months (no interest) to pay off larger bills using their credit card. If you are planning repairs in advance, I highly suggest purchasing the parts from the auto-shop or online and bringing them with you. There's also WIFI and fresh coffee in the waiting room. read more

Went there to get my window fixed. 4 trips and $415 later, the original piece they told me was broken after taking apart my car twice was not the root cause. The manager, Charles Marranca, missed his calling to work in a used car dealership. The guy is more slippery than a snake. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I had the worst customer service experience and I will never have my car serviced at Tire Kingdom on Bird Road in Miami ever again. On Sunday, I had a minor accident and the tire of my Maserati got damaged. Since the Collection was closed I had my car towed to the closest Tire Kingdom. They didn't have the tire in stock and had to order it. The tire arrived on Monday and I was informed that my car would be ready on Thursday, which was very convenient as I would be out of the country until then. I was later informed that 2 tires need replacement and that my breaks need replacement. I told Anthony, the customer service rep that saw me, that I'd rather take it to The Collection, where I usually have my car serviced. He told me that they could do the same job at a much cheaper rate. I agreed to get it done at Tire Kingdom. On Wednesday, I received more than six calls and 4 voicemails saying that my car was ready a day early and, if I didn't pick it up, I would have to pay for storage. Wait, what? My car was supposed to be ready on Thursday and now it's ready a day early and they want me to pay for it without even looking at what they did? They insisted that they needed my credit card to close the ticket because it was a big ticket. Unfortunately, I was traveling, and unable to get the car until Friday morning. To my surprise, when I arrived to pick up my car, it wasn't ready. Even though I had received numerous voicemails asking me to get the car because it was ready. They said it was because they weren't able to reach me to tell me that there were additional issues with the break sensors. The cost of the repair was almost $3600. I called The Collection and they gave me the same price. Wasn't their price supposed to be much cheaper than The Collection? Not to mention the level of service and professionalism I'd get at The Collection, as opposed to Tire Kingdom. They do not have qualified staff to fix a car. Everything seems to be in pieces, very disorganized. Henry Merchant, the manager I saw when I picked-up the car, was rude and clueless, and I was deceived into leaving my car at Tire Kingdom under the false pretense that I would pay much less than at The Collection. His argument was that they didn't charge me for storage (the car wasn't even ready!!!) In the end, after paying almost $5000 at Tire Kingdom, I still needed to take my car to The Collection, so they could finish the job. What a rip-off! read more
