Adrian took the time to clearly explain the services being done and was completely transparent about pricing. I had new tires installed, and the whole process was efficient and smooth. I also received email updates while waiting which I never experienced before, but it made the visit even better to receive "Vehicle Inspection Information" in real time. These guys are scam artists. Took my car in for a standard oil change, and they did a whole inspection. My car only has 37,000 miles on it for reference, so it needed an oil change, but should otherwise not need much service at this point. Told me my battery needed to be replaced immediately, my shock needed to be replaced, and all four tires needed to be replaced. Total they quoted me was over $3000. My boyfriend took my car in so they couldn't do anything without my permission, which I obviously didn't give. We then took the car to autozone to check the battery, which was totally fine. I then took the car to another local mechanic for them to do an inspection, to make sure there wasn't actually something wrong with the shock or tires. What do you know, they said the car was in great shape, and didn't even mention either! Either way, these guys are con artists trying to scam people out of their money by scaring them with blurry photos of their car and telling them that if they don't fix it, it will fall apart. I drove away from this shop and notice smoke coming from engine compartment got home and used oil measuring stick from my car it was over a quarter. I've been going to this Tires Plus for years. I live in Aventura but I always come here. I've had 2 Lexus, 1 Audi and now a BMW and this is the only place I trusted to replace my tires. Not anymore since they damaged 2 of the back wheels of my BMW. I came Monday 11/28 right when they opened at 7am. I had an appointment as well since I ordered the tires from Tire Rack. Check-in was easy and fast. Less than an hour later my tires were installed. I drove off to go to work. The following day, that's when I noticed that both back rims were scratched near the center hotel and also some grinding on the actual center hole. Keep in mind this was the first time I had my back tires changed so I compared the back wheels to the front wheels which the tires have never been replaced. My back wheels were definitely damaged during the tire installation because my front wheels are in perfect condition. I called the store on Tuesday 11/29 to let them know what happened. Carlos called me back a few minutes later and told me to bring the car to inspect the wheels. I told him I can't go until Thursday because I was working late. So I drove 45 minutes to the shop early morning on 12/1 and arrived at around 7am at the shop. Pedro took pictures and told me that his manager will call me. I went to work and all day no call from anyone. Friday 12/2 still no call from anyone so I called Saturday morning 12/3. Pedro answered the call and I told him nobody reached out to me. He said his manager, Carlos, is off this weekend so he will make sure that he reaches out to me on Monday at 8am because they will be both there in the morning. On Monday morning 12/5 nobody called me. I waited til 8:30am then I called the store. Pedro again answered the call and Carlos called in sick. Carlos had Pedro explained the findings and basically said that the paint/coat of the wheels peeled off. I said how? The only possible way they got scratched was during the installation because they were in perfect condition before they changed my tires. I told Pedro that they should compare the back wheels to the front and you'll see the difference. He then suggested bringing the car first thing tomorrow morning so Carlos can take a look at the wheels. On Tuesday, I drove again for 45 minutes. I arrived around 8am and guess what, Carlos called in sick again according to Pedro. I said you could've at least called me when you opened the store so I didn't have to drive all the way here for nothing. The only thing he said was sorry. He said Carlos called in sick 30 minutes ago and completely just ignored me and started doing something else. I wasn't hostile. I was calm and respectful. I even said good morning and this was the treatment I got from the employees? I'm flabbergasted because I never had an issue with this shop in all the years I've been going here. I also have sent many of my customers from my dealership and no more. Now I filed an official complaint and opened a case through the customer service line and still waiting for someone to call me or at least acknowledge the issue. If I don't hear from anyone by the end of the week, I will have no choice but to consult legal action. read more

I used to be such an admirer of this place. I left a past review when I was in desperation and was happy to have a solution in Tires Plus in that moment to fix my car. I trusted their knowledge and expertise and spent well over $2k to replace my alternator, have my AC fixed, replace the clutch and fix my ac. Couple months later - my serpentine belt wraps around the engine coolant container and now my car is out of commission again. . If it was fixed for the price they charged me - why am I having issues with it not even 1 year later?! And I'm STILL paying the credit card for all the repairs. Also: my dashboard and panels are now messed up from their work on my ac. NEVER coming back!!!! Waste of money. Since I have the lifetime tire rotation and balance - that's probably the only thing I'll ever have them do if even that at all. I came in to have my tires replaced because it was time already. Turn out that my brakes were also bad in the front. The customer service and timeliness of the repair were great. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. This time seemed knowledgeable and explain everything in detail to me. However, as I've been driving the car since yesterday I noticed that I have to press extra hard on the brakes to make a full stop. And now in the afternoon my brake light came on. Needless to say that I am not a happy camper. Not to mention the fact that all four caps on my tires were missing. Caps I mean the little thingies that go over the air gauge. I'm not sure if I'm describing that correctly. I came in today to get that all looked at. Again the staff was very friendly and very serviceable. The car got looked at in a timely manner. And the caps were replaced as well. But I think they need to review their work before handing the car over back to the customer, especially if you're changing the tires and the brakes. I don't think it's a bad idea to take the car on a test drive after you do that kind of work. I don't recommend this place at all. My brakes are still making noises. Purchased (4) new tires for my vehicle (2) weeks ago (700.00). Upon driving off the property my wheel alarm icon on my dashboard came on; called Tire Plus and explained the situation. Was advised to depress the 'reset' button due to tire pressure having to be recalibrated with the new tires. Since then, every other day, I've had to add air to one tire; decided to return to the store. Upon inspection of the tire it was determined a nail had punctured the tire and since I didn't purchase 'roadside assistance' I would need to PURCHASE a new tire! The nail had punctured the tire on an angle damaging the sidewall so it couldn't be repaired. The only solution was to purchase a new tire (which would take about two hours), plus balancing fee, and for 'my' protection, roadside assistance for the one tire. The other option would be to pay for roadside assistance on all (4) tires plus balancing fee for the damaged tire for $120.00! The culprit (nail), I believe, punctured the tire in the Tire Plus parking lot.... A sale I thought initially was a good deal, turned out to be a major pain with no understanding of the events on the part of the salesman. Basically "there's nothing we can do attitude"! read more

I've had three visits at Tires Plus in the last 12 months, and all the staff members have made my experiences seamless and wonderful. Between purchasing a pair of tires, to patching a slow leak ($22), to replacing my Mazda3's battery ($147, including $15 labor), I will be coming back to this location for as long as they can help me fix my emergencies! I also have recommended this team to friends. First, this location is so clean. Keurig and cookies await, along with a singular TV that's quiet but not muted, and plenty of magazine options to choose from if you wait. WiFi as well, and clean restrooms. Second, the staff are quick to recognize you - if they're with clients, they'll at least say hello and "be with you in a moment" so you don't feel invisible, or they'll wave you right up to the counter. Third, they listen to you. Not one person has tried to push an unnecessary service on to me in any of my visits. They are straightforward, thorough, and a welcome relief in Miami. So far, my experiences, all on weekends mind you, have been timely - the tire replacements took awhile and their estimate of a few hours was spot on. I had left, but they called me within four hours and I was ready to pick up. For my patch and battery, they had me done and ready to go within 20 minutes. I found that the clerk Pedro disrespected the value of time of the 5 costumers that arrived before the shop opened opened on a Sunday; when it seem to be a friend of Pedro who arrived. If is not that I was standing outside I wouldn't have noticed that he was prioritizing the service to his friend by jumping 4 of us. GARBAGE. I went in for a simple oil change and that's certainly not how this turned out. I walk in for my 11am appointment at 10:58am and no one comes out for a few minutes. No biggie. The guy starts filling out my paperwork and automatically applies a coupon for my oil change and also gives me a free complete inspection. I'm like wow, ok thanks. On the other hand, I used to go to the location on 8th by the palmetto and you mean to tell me you really can't find any of my car history so the inspection is necessary? A few minutes later I hear him on the phone mentioning notes he sees from someone else's car with work done by their Pembroke Pines location? Already seems a little sketchy to me, but maybe it's just because mine closed. Fine. By 11:09am I look up and my car has already been taken back for them to get started. Next thing you know, an hour later, I need $1200 worth of work. I knew I had some things that needed to be handled, but really guys?? The guy walks me to the back and shows me filters, brake pads, etc and I'm like ok fine. Do it so I don't have to come back. The guy says it'll be done in two hours and they'll call me. Since it's going to take so long, I decide to hop on the trolley and head home. Two hours come and go and NOTHING. Finally at 3:30pm I give them a call basically asking wtf is going on with my car and thank god it was ready. So I start walking back to them, but really? You can't notify your customers yourselves like you promised? You obviously have my car so it's going to be inconvenient to get there regardless, so at least be considerate. I get back and some new guy pretends like they tried to contact me. I decided to just let it go and leave. The time it took me to pay them and get out was maybe 5 minutes. Obviously the part where they take your money is going to be the quickest and easiest part. Now it's 48 hours later and I have warning lights on my dash lit up for the BRAND NEW TIRES THEY SOLD ME. I am so frustrated that I will now have to take MORE time off of work to go handle this when I already had to miss an entire work day due to their unexpected maintenance and lack of consideration for calling their customers upon completion. My car doesn't need a new valve cover gasket (it was done 11 months ago), or a new vtec solenoid (also done 11 months ago). The small leak is from the oil pan gasket, and I've known about it. Consumer beware, I arrived simply for a patch and was forced to buy two tires due to "worn out" wear and then quoted for 2 sets of struts due to the back ones wearing out my tires "system failure" I changed the tires but not the struts. I've serviced the car two more times at their sister Firestone and funny no mention of any system failure involving the struts. read more

Yesterday I went into this tires plus to fix my right front tire due to a flat. It was around 5:30 pm. I was forced to buy a new tire because the clerk told me that my tread was too low to patch my tire. Also he told me that I needed to get my axles aligned due to the purchase of the new tire. I asked the clerk what would be the total for all this , he told me $310. It was raining so I was not able to watch them do the work. After waiting for two hours I was handed my keys and told me everything was fixed. Before driving off I noticed my oil sticker was not put on I still had the old one still on my front window glass. I went back inside and explain to them that they didn't put the sticker on and also question did they even change my oil. The guy told me yes. I drove home to check to see if my oil changed come to find out my oil stick showed black oil as if my oil was never changed. I took my vehicle to my cousins the next day and asked him if my oil was changed he took a look and told me that my oil was never changed. I went back to the store and and explain to the manager that my oil was never changed. He advised me that it was. They lifted my vehicle for the oil pan and my oil was still black meaning that they never change my oil. And I was distracted by one of the technicians and it kelp me from recording my oil being released to show it was still black ( old used oil) after the oil was changed it was amber color and clear The manager was sorry and clearly I was very upset and they change my oil also they never aligned my tires after Saying they did. I'm a man and I'm also a police officer and once I told him that he and the others became apologetic but before that they were extremely rude.
