Called in the morning and the woman who answered told me they had full availability all day and I could book any time, I asked for 5pm and she confirmed all of my information. We showed up on time and went to a restaurant next door. We never got a phone call even if it was just to say it was done so I felt uneasy. We walked back over to see my car in the very same spot I left it 45 minutes later. I was informed that they weren't able to fit me in... I booked the appointment because my car was feeling unsafe to drive, and we had a lot of driving to do the next day. Despite confirming my number again in person, the man behind the counter informed me that they had a different number for me and they tried to call me a bunch of times. Needless to say, never going back to this location again. Instead of taking full accountability and actually apologizing, they all sat around on their phones waiting for us to leave so they could leave for the day. I do not write reviews but this one is mandatory. I went to Tire Kingdom in North Port Florida after making an appointment to change out a carrier bearing on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma. Once up and after an inspection I found out I needed U Joints replaced on my drive shaft. I had them go ahead and replace them as well. 762.00 dollars later I was off and driving. 20 miles later on the freeway there was a snap and a vibration. I pulled over safely to the side of the road and called the shop. Of course they were closed. hi then proceeded to crawl the truck to a parking lot nearby for overnight At 8am I called the shop and 14 hours later, I arrived back at the parking lot to have my vehicle loaded to a tow truck. The tow truck took my vehicle to the local Tire Kingdom for repair. Upon arrival at the closest Tire Kingdom, I found out that they did not have a mechanic that day and were unable to fix it. I was provided a rental truck until the mechanic was able to fix it. With my truck back in my possession, they provided a refund and many apologies for loss of my work vehicle, my time and patience as they worked out some internal issues. I highly recommend in the most sincerest terms Tire Kingdom in Northport, for standing by their word and getting me back on the road as soon as possible. Went in not knowing what the issue was on my rear left tire and expected to be spending 150-250 just for the repair, and was shocked when I was told it was free of charge. I greatly appreciate the service provided and will definitely be back for any future issues with my tires! read more

If I could give it a 0 star I would, not only are the prices astronomically over priced but they stole my cars tire socket. my car purposely came with one due to the complex nature of my tires/car, i needed a last minute change & tire kingdom agreed they could do it, not only did they not fix my tire, my tire is worse than what it was & when i realized it trying to get it properly changed, i realized they never returned my socket. i go back to get it & they tried arguing with me over my own property & refused to return it, now im out a socket, a tire & a bunch of time. Terrible customer service. We brought the car to this location because we had a screw in one of the tires. The tire will no longer fill with air above 29 PSI. This was an emergency and the company turned us away. All they said was they were booked up and could not patch the tire, not even look at it. It takes 20 minutes to patch a tire. How do you let a customer drive away from your business with a tire that is in danger of going flat? That tire could burst and cause even more problems and is unsafe. They didn't even offer to fill up the tire as best they could with air. This business is ridiculous. read more

Had my car towed due to a flat tire. They had the tire in stock for me but repaired it free of charge as I had bought a there in the past. They notified me when the car arrived, called to tell me they were repairing. Picked up 15 mins later! read more

Had my tire pressure light turn on while traveling down interstate- stopped at 7 gas stations and nobody had working air. Pulled in and the technician was busy but quickly looked at tire and determined no nail and added air for me! Super kind !! Sad that I had to go this far out of my way, but SO THANKFUL to have found this shop! Back on my way and felling much safer! read more

What is the point of an appointment? when you show up early and after sitting almost 2 hours, my vehicle hasn't even been driven into the bay. I say something and the guy seemed confused, looked at the computer and some papers and went to tell someone to grab my car. Not once did he apologize or say what the issue was and why I was just forgotten. Odd I thought. I sit down. Took 30 minutes to work on my car. Time to pay, I call Mr. out. I didn't get his name sadly but I say good thing I told you to check on my car cause it wasn't going to get done... he doesn't respond just says this is what I owe. Then I ask for an apology or at least acknowledgement of what happen and all he says is apologize for what? The nerve. Then the "manager" was next to him and offered nothing really other than saying they are busy. Basically just wanted my money and gone. Place didn't even seem busy and that isn't an excuse. It looked like they had a car on that rack when it wasn't suppose to be tbh. That overlapped my appointment but no admission of this, I would have said ok no big deal. It's pretty clear that this place 1, can't handle the amount of customers per hour and 2 doesn't care about customer service.. not even the most basic of training. Absolute worst tire place ever, don't go here if you want work done correctly!!! I had these guys mount and balance 2 tires (the exact same tires) and their tire tech decided to stack all the weights in one spot on the back driver tire and kinda balance the back passenger tire correctly. This almost killed me this morning on the highway with how bad my vehicle was shaking at 70mph merging on the freeway... The manager then tried to argue with me that this is the correct way to balance a tire when literally every website/video/and forum tells you not to stack weights because it's wrong!! Also I should state while I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours to get my tires mounted at the tire Kingdom (even though I had an appointment) I heard multiple people upset with the work done by these guys. Found a nail in my tire on a Saturday afternoon and Tire Kingdom took great care of me and my car. Not having an appointment, they squeezed me in and while I grabbed lunch at the shopping center behind, my tire was fixed. Great service and staff! read more

AVOID this North Port store, the manager Matt is as dishonest as they come! We took our car in for new rear tires, they stripped one of the lug nuts, lied about it, then told us to take it to the dealer. Now we have to find a way to remove it because they claim they are NOT LIABLE. If you don't believe just check out their BBB rating, I just did.....This place is bad! I am used to go to the Tire Kingdom located in the far end of Port Charlotte but unfortunately due to the hurricane, they have been closed so I have now had no choice but to go to the TIRE KINGDOM that is located on Aiden Lane in North Port. I understand that when it's time to get work done you need an appointment unless you can leave the car entire day. With my type work that is difficult. I was advised by the manager prior to this visit ( since I bought 4 tires from them) that if I didn't have an appointment and I wanted to be seen to come first thing in the morning. Well today I arrived at TIRE KINGDOM on Wednesday, January 25 at 6:20 AM. Not a soul insight not even the employees of TIRE KINGDOM. As soon as I saw him arrive I explain to him that I have a flat tire and that I needed to be replaced that I actually have an additional tire so there was no purchase. I feel this is the reason why they're not willing to see me or they're now telling me that I have to wait since they had other appointments. I am not one to expect anything for free but really how long does it take to put ac tire on ? It is now 9:30 am, 3 hours have passed since my arrival and my car is just getting put into bay. I am not going to apologize for being honest it is the principle. Obviously my call to corporate, brought light to-my situation, and the manager was contacted. How do I know this. When taking my. When 1st meeting the staff at this location somewhat 6 months I felt everyone was extremely friendly and honest, I was in a bind ( needing new tires) they did what they could do to ensure I got what needed. This is the FIFTH time I myself have brought one of my vehicles or friends into this business. Matt and his team are absolutely amazing and have taken such good care of me with my oil changes and tire rotations. And taken such good care of my best friend. I wish I was joking but this is the THIRD nail/screw we've gotten thanks to 75 in her damn kia in a single year! And every time Ive been able to bring her here and Matt and the team have taken care of us with such kindness and thoroughness. Im grateful to my dad for raising me a girl who knows her shit about cars but Im even more grateful to this business for being a business I as a woman don't have to be on alert because people see me as female and thus unknowledgeable when it comes to mechanics and try to take advantage. Its why I bring my girlfriends and tell my moms friends to go here I know they won't be duped for being female and not knowing better about these things. They treat me and my mother and my bestie the way they treat anyone else and have good honest fair pricing. I don't have to pull out my own knowledge I can walk in and trust they'll take care of me without having to be even more stressed out about a car issue than I already am. DID I MENTION THAT THEY TAKE WALK INS AND HAVE NEVER TAKEN LONGER THAN AN HOUR TO FIX MY TIRES?! Because I was not used to good work in this state let alone quick top tier work. read more

Tire Kingdom Recommendation The are located at 4400 Aidan Lane, North Port 941.564.7539 Last night I had a tire alert flash up on the car display showing low air pressure on one tire. I did not see a screw or nail so I aired it up hoping it was just low. This morning it had lost about 10 lbs. of air so I knew it was something bad. I had been to another tire store before but wasn't real happy so I went to try out this place. They are about 8 miles from me and their website says the open at 8:00. I get there about 7:40 and walk up to the door just to make sure the hours were right as sometimes they are not on websites. I see it does say 8:00 so I start to walk back to my car when Matt, the manager, opens the door and says to come on it. They aren't officially open yet but it was cooler in there. There is one person already there and we chatted for a bit. I asked if they had been here before and he says he is a "frequent flyer" there because he drives a construction trailer and they get a lot of tires punctured. That was comforting, knowing this place that is new to me has a customer that does a lot of business there. Matt takes my info and says he will see if it can be fixed as they try to do that first. I appreciated that but I had a feeling the tire was too badly damaged. Around 7:50 they pull my car into their service bay. Keep in mind, they are not even officially open yet. It was determined that the tire was not repairable and they had a comparable type in stock. I left their shop before 9:00, one happy customer. read more

After a couple Really bad experiences with another shop in North Port, I've been looking hard for someone I could trust working on our vehicles. I'm Happy to announce that I have found that place. Had oil changed and tires rotated, the mechanic found something stuck in my tire. Here is where the trust comes in. Me knowing very little about if a tire is good or needs replace, I figured they now got me by the, well, I'll say "wallet". But to my surprise, they removed the " what we believe was a fork" and said the tire was ok. That could of been a $200 pay day and I would not have had a clue. Plus even more, they are all friendly and knowledgeable. I will return when ever car work is needed. read more

I brought my car in this morning with a flat tire. I didn't have an appointment and could tell they were extremely busy. They were able to get my car in quickly and did great work! I have purchased my tires from them and will continue to use them for any of my car issues. From the Service to the Staff I can honestly say a 5 star experience all around!
