Service - This store was very busy when I went in to ask about having my truck lifted. One of the sales associates made time to answer all of my questions about tires, wheels, and lift kits. We were able to put together an amazing set up for my F150 and now it looks amazing! The service was off the charts awesome! Prices - As far as the tires go, the prices are pretty much the same everywhere you go. TireSouth gave me a great deal on a new set of Nittos and each set comes with free lifetime balance, rotation, and flat repair. For the money, this place was the best experience. Atmosphere - The store side was very clean and well organized. It's not that hard to find a tire shop that you don't want to stand in for longer than a few minutes for fear that you might catch a disease. TireSouth was not like this at all, and they mentioned to me that they're breaking ground soon on a new, state-of-the-art facility. Overall - I would recommend TireSouth way over Discount Tires or Tire Depot. The knowledge of the sales associates, the service I experienced, and the pricing were all top notch. read more

Customer service sucks. Not one person told me how long it would be or checked on me throughout the process. Took my car to have routine maintenance. Needed two new tires and an oil change. That's it. It literally took over two hrs. to complete the maintenance. I will not be returning to this place. They are slow. If you have all day to wait go here but ask how long it will take before getting your car worked on. That's where I forgot to ask and I usually do. read more

Lack of communication. Had my truck all day and waited until I got there to tell me that they couldn't do the job today. We had agreed upon a 8am appointment which was kept and I got back there at 1430 to be told we can do it Monday. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!! Let me preface this by saying I usually don't leave my reviews of establishments and experiences, but I think my experience with Tire South was enough for me to put my documentation skills to use for a review. I drove by on the previous weekend to see about getting a last minute alignment; I had recently gotten a new set of tires and wanted to make sure I didn't put on any unnecessary ware during my commute to Atlanta. I told them that I knew they only had an hour left before closing and if they were tied up, I didn't want to trouble them. The guys told me it wasn't a problem and they'd "take care of me." They had the car for 15-20 minutes before taking me out to show me that "It had bad bushings" on the lower control arm on the passenger side. Considering the car's old and there was some wear on the previous tire in that spot, I conceded that could be an issue and I may have been mistaking symptoms of this for a normal driving experience with a 5-speed manual. I went in to talk numbers with them, figuring I'd just set something up if it was reasonable. What started as bushings turned into "a lower control arm" as well as "new brakes and rotors" and being told that my rear shocks "were shot" (for context, the car drives and handles fine and I've definitely hit some back road turns pretty hard with it on the weekends without issue). They gave me a quote stating that parts and labor for the passenger-side lower control arm alone are going to be around $700 "because these Subarus are tricky to work on and we'd have to break down the front end." They also added the caveat that they "hoped it would include the bushings (that started all this in the first place) but they'd have to see." The brakes and rotors were going to be another $350, which while I think is absurd, I can at least get the math of the labor and utilizing higher end parts there. The shocks they decided to leave off because "If you think the suspension handles fine, we don't have to do that. We're not trying to ream you." I went home with my $1,000 quote (more than I paid for the actual car) and planned to just do the work myself; I'm mechanically inclined and have gotten my hands dirty before fixing other things on this car and other vehicles. Before I committed to this though, I took the car to a frame shop that's done work on other projects of mine just to have a second opinion before I started tearing into it (they aren't open on the weekends). Turns out there was nothing wrong with the bushings and he handled the alignment for $65.00. I'm sure these guys do good work with lift kits and trucks in general and it seems like the trend is they usually take good care of their customers. If that is the case and my experience was the exception and not the rule, they could have just been more up front over not wanting to mess with my old beater at the 11th hour on a Saturday and I'd have totally understood. read more

I had an issue at first with how my truck was aligned after leaving but I brought it back immediately and they made it right, I was even contacted by Jake to make sure I was happy and if I was not he wanted to change that, by Jake doing this it let me know Tire South cares about their customers and I will not hesitate to let them take care of my truck....they would have gotten 5 stars had there not been an issue but they actually deserve higher than 4 just on customer service alone. These guys are great and extremely professional along with quick. Had an air leak in my rear right tire, they couldn't switch my full spare tire out because it was over 7 years old. They showed me the date, my spare was 15 years old! Since they couldn't change it, they went ahead and inspected the flat tire for leaks and found a nail, plugged it, filled it with air, and balanced all 4 tires for $30 flat. There was an 18 wheeler there too for a flat, saw them get the tire on that changed and got the guy out of there within 20 minutes. The facility is large and spacious, and the interior is awesome. I'll definitely be returning to this place for all my tire needs, my dad recommended them and I saw the great reviews online. It's a newer place, saw them building it a while ago. Thought they were going to be crazy expensive but they're very affordable. Located right next to the interstate too as a plus. read more

I purchased a $1100 set of tires for my truck from this business and They did not balance them correctly. Fast forward two weeks from my purchase and I had a nail in one of the tires so I came back; they plugged the tire because they felt it was okay; well it wasn't; tire went flat after a few days and when it was brought back they wanted to plug it again! They eventually replaced the tire but the back and forth trips first with the balancing issue and then with the nail issue did it for me. Chris and his team were able to troubleshoot and diagnose my car beyond the scope of the work that I came to them for. Best place for tires, alignments, etc... Awesome prices and fantastic customer service. They do really good work on domestic and European vehicles. They did great work on my domestic truck and now on my German car and SUV. This is opposed to another place that stripped out a lug on my German SUV recently (I was not where I could get back to Tire South). Nevertheless, I did have Tire South repair their work even though the other place offered to fix it for free. Needless to say I'll only be going to Tire South from now on! read more

It started out to be a great experience and then went down hill. Just got off a 12 hour shift and was there at 8:00 a.m when they opened and was the first person there. He told me it would only take 45 minutes to an hour and I would be out. I said great and told my wife to go home I would just wait. They put the tires on my car in about 15 minutes and then drove it around for the alignment. There it sat on the rack for another 45 minutes and was never touched. So around 9:10 I asked what happened to 45 minutes to an hour and why hasn't my car been touched for 45 minutes? I was told a Mercedes came in and the alignment guy was working on it. I asked wasnt I here first ? He said yes then I wanted to know why he was in front of me? Never got a good answer but they could tell I wasnt happy. Finally got someone to work on it and then the alignment guy finally finished it up. Guess I should have been driving a Mercedes maybe would have had better service. So almost 2 hours later I get to leave. I was supposed to get emailed a quote on getting shocks installed but I never received it. Not sure what to think first time there. read more

I cannot begin to tell you how appreciative I was to find Tire South in McDonough. I had hit a huge truck tire tread on I-75, and almost wrecked my car. After the hit I knew there was something wrong with my car, so I slowed and exited right at the right place. I went into Tire South and Chris immediately calmed my shattered nerves and assured me that they would take care of my car. They did an alignment diagnostic test on my car and showed me what the hit had done to my alignment. They went right to work repaired the car in as little as 30 minutes. They test drove it, and got me back on the road in no time. Not only were these young men helpful, but extremely understanding of my shot nerves! Great place! Lost me as a customer forever today due to terrible customer service. When you make a mistake at least offer an apology. Mounted an asymmetrical tire on a rim the wrong way. Tire clearly marked with inside and outside. Made another trip back thirty minutes one way. Not one word from anyone in management! Nothing for my several hours and multiple trips of inconvenience. I did not expect anything other than a simple "we made a mistake, addressed the issue, and it won't happen again". WRONG!
