We had the battery replaced there and they said we need a $500 alternator and tried to sell us a credit card. They got really pushy. We took our car to another mechanic we usually use in Harrisburg that we couldn't get to yesterday, and lo and behold the alternator is fine. Went in for an inspection and oil change, when I received to bill , I notice a cost unknown to me. Seems they added a treatment to my car that I did not request. When questioning they advised me that it was recommended by my cars manufacturer. I read and reread my owners manual and no where does it state using a treatment. They advised me that if I didn't want it that I should of said something before they did it. To me, that was pretty stupid to say. On 9/4/21 I took my vehicle to Tires Plus to have 2 tires balanced, and a front turn signal light bulb replaced. When I tell someone that's all you're to do, that's all you're to do! They came back to me and told me I need a new battery. When I said no, the mechanic loosened up the positive end of the battery terminal. I know this because I tightened them myself a few months prior. When I went home and parked the truck, it wouldn't start a couple days later because they loosened the battery terminal. I called the store on 9/11/21 and called them out on this. A manager named Jonathan cursed me out terribly on the phone, probably in front of customers in the showroom. I had him on speaker phone, and my wife heard the whole thing! I don't think his managerial skills, because you should not ever curse any customers out like he did me! On a road trip home on a Sunday afternoon our car was overheated and the fan was not working to cool it off. Tires plus took a look at the fuses and switched the relays and topped off fluids. Aside from the headache inducing smell of rubber, this comfy cozy car maintenance shop is among the nicer places in the area. With nice leather seats, a good variety of magazines, and some coffee (if you don't mind it black, it's not a bad place to kick back and relax while they work on your car. You can schedule online and they usually get you in and out in the amount of time they tell you. They do ty to up sell, which can get annoying, but be strong and just say no. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS!!!. My 17 year old daughter had a slow leak in her tire on her older Volvo that I had purchased for her a few months earlier with a recent inspection. They told us they could not patch- the tread was too low. The only tire for her car in stock was $150. So we didn't have a choice. The worst is yet to come! When we returned to pick up the car- they said all the break pads were dangerously low and a ball joint was bad. Total est- $1000.00. Luckily my daughters boyfriend is going to school to be a mechanic and interns at a local dealership. So, he said he would take a look. The break pads were almost brand new on the front (still had Volvo emblem on the break pad) and in excellent shape in the back. The ball joint does need fixed. And come to find out, they overcharged for the tire as well!!!! Scammers!!!! Can't trust. read more

We needed new tires ASAP due to an emergency long distance trip we had to make on Monday. We called Tire Plus on Saturday and they said to come between 2-3pm on Monday. We called at 12:30pm on Monday to confirm the appointment and they said to come at 6pm instead. We obliged. We arrived at 5pm to drop off the car early so they can start working on it at 6pm. When we arrived, they said they can't take us anymore because there were too many jobs they had to do and there was no more room for us. They had the audacity to ask if we'd like to reschedule. We said absolutely not. TERRIBLE customer service. Do not waste your hard earned money with this business. We ended up not going on our trip because my tires were too unsafe to drive that day and other shops were already closed. Will never do business with them again. read more

Can't believe the service I received here yesterday I had an appointment to have four Michelin pilot sport mounted and balanced and one tire sensor .Because one of my tire sensors was not reading on my car .I was informed by the shop once they started to do the work that all my tire sensors had stopped reading that they were going to hook it up to the machines to try to reprogram them . when I spoke to the man again he said that he got the other three tires to register the one was still bad. I came to pick the car up my tpms service light was on and upon doing research the sensors needed replaced so I went and bought new sensors I call tire plus this morning to set up an appointment to put the sensors on to fix my problem and they informed me that they can't put on customer products but you had no problem installing my tires yesterday and doing the one sensor. Smh this is exactly why places like you close. You don't get to pick and choose work if something isn't right on a customers car you should see it through!!!!And to top all that off my appointment time was at 12 o'clock they didn't call me until four read more

Do not ever take your vehicle to this location in Camp Hill or any other location... I set a appointment 2 days prior for inspection, tire rotation and oil change... and to pick up vehicle for 4 pm... work order was created at 7:05 am the morning of appointment and vehicle was not touched as of 4 pm ... vehicle was in the same spot as where I parked it the night before... the excuse was they were short handed and only one mechanic with an inspection license... none of my vehicles will never set foot at any locations of tires plus... one time my battery was not secured correctly and tipped over and car was bucking when I hit bumps on busy I -83... had to hold battery in the back seat floorboard position to get it back for corrective action... they never knock of the Tpms sensor when they rotate tires and I have to reset my own oil reset...what a ham and egg operation!!! So please save yourselves some aggravation and by pass this business ... I hope this place goes under!! read more

So originally I went in for brake pads. Until they found stuff that Faulkner Subaru was hiding from me trying to charge me more for a wheel bearing and a torn cupling. All together they gave me a very reasonable price compared to the $2400+ that Faulkner was gonna charge me. I am so glad Andy and his team took care of me. I needed new tires in a pinch because Sun Motors BMW insisted on installing run flats, all four mind you, on my vehicle during the inspection. Less than two weeks later, two of the tires just popped. Tires Plus got me in and out the door in less than two hours. Mike is the manager and he is superb to deal with. Charles at the Jonestown Road location is equally amazing to deal with. I was on my way home from a cross country road trip when suddenly my driver side window got stuck in the 'down', fully open position. There was a huge rainstorm that was going to start any minute and continue through the next day. I had no idea where to go to get help. I called the car dealership and several other mechanics and glass repair shops only to be told that with such short notice there was nothing they could do (seriously?!). Tires Plus was the only exception. They immediately said, 'sure; bring the car here. We'll do what we can to help and at the very least can get the window up so you can drive safely in the rain.' They not only did that, they also accurately identified the problem and the part needed to fix it so that my mechanic at home had everything waiting for me when I arrived several days later. People who choose to help when everyone else takes the path of least resistance, who instead of looking away and saying 'not my problem, not my job' roll up their sleeves and help - - these are the people who make all the difference. I had it inspected for $385.00 at neary auto-inspection garage. Whoa. I've always been charged for my tire rotation, but it's FREE here! They also top off all fluids and do whatever a 'road check' is for FREE. Both men who waited on me didn't treat me like a typical girl in a mechanic's shop. I didn't buy tires, but the prices were reasonable and comparable to what I've paid in the past. Not only did they just replace and install my 2 tires they "recommended" having an alignment done within 30 days, not "insisting" that I have it done immediately. On 1/17/2019 I requested services for a nail in my rear passenger tire at Tires Plus. I called on 1/16/2019 for an appointment that was scheduled for 2pm on 1/17/2019. I dropped my car off at the location to have services completed at 12:47pm. I was told the expectation would be completion around 4:30pm, which was perfect as I am someone of medical profession, and it adequately fit my schedule. Around 4pm I had not heard anything which was making me nervous, I called initially no one picked up the phone. About 10 minutes later someone did call, to advise that my tire couldn't be patched and that the tire needed to be replaced. I was perfectly fine that I requested that both back tires be replaced to keep them matching. I was under the impression when they called they were working on my car, how else would they have known the tire cannot be patched. I asked them for an updated ETA, because I must rearrange patient care. They advised give them 30 more minutes., this would have taken my completion time to 5pm, I figured I would give them an extra 30 minutes by coming to pick up my car at 5:30pm. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate appointments with the expectation that my car would have been completed. I arrive at tires plus at 5:32pm, and my car is not completed. The gentleman at the front desk advised that it would only be another 20 mins, I advised I need to be out of the place by no later than 6pm, because I have other important appointments. Ironically, I saw that they only started working on my first tire, which made me furious. I ended up not leaving the place until 6:43pm. This is an hour and 43 minutes later after being quoted a 5pm completion time. A gentleman who was in the waiting room advised me he heard the conversation with me and the gentleman on the phone, and said he dropped his car off at 4pm and he was out before 6pm. This is by far the poorest customer service and interaction I have ever had an auto body shop. The fact that I was quoted 2 different times, and at both times I gave them extra time just in case they had problems. To arrive at the facility to a not even started work on my car scenario is ridiculous. I wasted and additional hour and half waiting for my car at the location. I missed my two appointments that were scheduled because they were not doing the job they promised to deliver. The gentleman ignored my frustration at first by ringing me up at 6:10pm, not quoting me the final charge, nor apologizing for taking as long as they are, when they haven't even started to work on the car. To be offered $40.00 off per tire, only to find out it was just a discount he could have given me because it was a promotion, is an absolute slap in the face. Unfortunately, this is not customer satisfaction. They must have thought I was either dumb or didn't care that I was frustrated or angry. I gave you additional business for a second tire, only to have a delay on a finished product 2 hour and 43 minutes later, on a job that takes no more than 30 mins. I timed the time they worked on both tires from 6:13pm to 6:41 pm was the time it took them to complete both tires, when I arrived, that is less than 30 mins. My boyfriend had good experiences with this shop in the past(he had a car that kept having a flat tire and they diagnosed for free and oil changes were pretty quick and cheap) so I decided to give it a try. I had to reschedule my original appt because of inclement of weather and reluctantly came in on a Saturday. I expected them to be busy but to take my car back to be serviced 2 HOURS after my appt time is ridiculous. I'm tired and hungry because I foolishly didn't eat before I came.
