All right, I'm all set to venture out to get something to eat. UGH! I turned the key and the tire pressure warning light was on. I was secretly hoping one or more tires were under-inflated and just needed air. I went into the lobby of Tire Plus where I was greeted by a male employee. After explaining the situation, I asked if one of the technicians could put air in all four tires. I was told to pull up by the bay and someone would take care of it. Within a few minutes, air was added to all four tires. When the tire pressure warning light went out, I noticed in the side mirror that the technician was inspecting the back right tire, and I already suspected what he was going to tell me when he approached the driver's side door. I sighed heavily as I followed the technician, only to see the little culprit that immediately ruined my mood. I was recommended to replace the tire, resulting in another heavy sigh, as I just replaced one that got a nail in it last month. I didn't have time to get the tire replaced at the moment, so I made an appointment for the next two days... fast forward two days and 90 minutes; I'm back cruising on the road. To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at Tires Plus and the inspection performed on my vehicle. I brought my vehicle to this location because it was shaking while driving. I clearly explained the issue to Rick and also informed him that I had recently purchased four new tires. Rick advised me to leave my vehicle so that it could be inspected and told me that I would be contacted with the results. After the inspection, I was given an extremely high estimate and told that my vehicle needed several services and repairs. I was very concerned by the amount quoted and decided not to move forward with the recommended work. The following day, I took my vehicle elsewhere for another evaluation. I discovered that the shaking was simply due to the tires needing to be balanced. I paid only $30 for a tire balance, and the shaking issue was resolved. Tires Plus, 1000 W Bay, Largo, FL. I purchased four 70,000-mile tires at $1,078.00, along with a supposed warranty. This morning, I had a flat and brought it in. Tony the manager said the flat was 75% used and they could only warranty 25% off my bill. I drove 24,000 miles total on the 70,000-mile tire. I used about %34.29 of the tire not %75. I rotate every oil change and they are wearing totally even. What happened to that other 46,000 miles??? Tony blamed me for not having them do alignments. I didn't because the car didn't need one. I took my Infiniti Q50 Red sport here to get 4 tires replaced, after getting my car back from them i noticed when i hit the breaks going faster then 50mph the car shakes, i went back there to tell them they did something wrong & they blamed it on my rotors being warped & tried to charge me to resurface them, mind you the car has 17,000 miles on it how could that be possible, so i took it to the dealership & they told me they tightened the lug nuts by twice the amount they are suppose to be!!! 0/10 do not recommend They caused me unnecessary time & money. read more

I needed new tires which is something I have been putting off. It is so hard to know if you are getting a good deal or even a good tire. The last time I bought tires from 4 Corner on Commercial they sold me a set that became discontinued. When I got a nail I couldn't just replace one tire. This time I decided to go with Tires Plus because I have been traveling to Orlando a lot. They offer a road warranty protection that can cover you when you are traveling. I went in at 11:00 on a Thursday morning and was out at 12:30. I was looking for a mid range tire and they offered me Falken which was on sale for 30% off. Four tires mount and balanced plus the extra road hazard for my Jetta came out to $436.52. The waiting room is adequate. They had a coffee pot but it didn't like it had been used in some time. They had a TV tuned to a morning talk show. There was also a drink and snack machine. If you want to grab something to eat there is a McDonald's right next door. The thing I was most curious about is while working on my car they had the hood up which seemed strange since they were only supposed to be putting on tires. I was expecting to get a long list of suggested services but when the car was ready I was just handed the keys and wished a nice day. I have driven the car for a few days now and I feel like it is riding much better. So far so good. Today I was talk to aggressively and loudly about an issue that was addressed almost 3 weeks ago. First of all, I know they charge way over the markup for any parts for your vehicle. This age everyone should get an estimate and then Google the part and see what they're being charged by Evan and the crew at 4 Corners tire. My example is this I need an ABS module! I cannot use any other ABS module only the one made for my vehicle so I could find a used one about 100 maybe $200 depending on the condition or a new one $200-$400, my estimate for that piece of equipment was over $1000I had another issue a couple weeks ago where my driveshaft fell off, destroyed the rear differential for the driveshaft alone I could find a used one from four $600, I think I was charged $2200 for a new . I had a prior issue where my driveshaft fell off and also my rear differential was ruined. If you look up the price for the differential and for the driveshaft, it will be incrementally less expensive, but for the driveshaft I was charged somewhere around 21 or $2200 and for the differential 500? With those things repaired the final bill was $6400 and some change. That's all on me. I agreed to have the work done the hourly labor is a little more than the Joe Schmoe Mechanic. The pricing isn't the issue I just say beware, the issue is how I was spoken to for the last three weeks. I needed the insurance company to come down and write a supplemental check for the repairs that had not been covered, this information was given to the shop almost 3 weeks ago I called Monday was off I called yesterday. Evan told me he would have my back take care of it. He has been real busy. I said thank you this morning I called back I had to ask him a question he had not spoken to the adjuster in over 2 1/2 weeks and on top of that he yelled at me and said he didn't want to do it and that he was busy and that he was doing me a favor. And then we hung up the phone, couple hours ago by and I wanted to call and tell him how I felt which I did. He answered the phone and I said I really don't appreciate the way you spoke to me I didn't pressure you on any of this, you told me you were gonna take care of it last week but you didn't do it. You told me you were busy now you tell me you don't wanna do it because you're busy and he said that I was a problem ever since I've known him, which is five years now, and he has never uttered a single word About me or my behavior. But when I preached the subject about the way, he spoke to me there was zero effort to put the customer. Instead, he blamed everything on me and as you all know, it takes two to tango. And even if my behavior was a little aggressive, which I wouldn't expect anyone to tolerate, but even so that doesn't make it right for the manager of this big company to speak to a loyal, repeating customer over the last five years and their ego is too big to say anything positive and is unwilling to admit their actions and their part in this relationship. I'm gonna follow up with an email or two to the corporate office. Find out if I can find the owner. I'm sure anybody who knows the numbers would look back in the thousands of dollars I spent in the shop would try to retain a loyal customer and if I was that unruly or aggressive at any point in time why wouldn't someone say something about it? Came here this morning as my brakes were making a g d awful grinding noise every time I stepped on the brakes. We dropped off the car and they called within the hour to let us know the status and cost of proposed repairs. My husband had brought his car here before and had a positive experience. He has an account with them that allows him to charge repairs and services. It's conveniently located near to our house which was an added benefit. After we gave the authorization, they told us it would be ready by noon. A few hours later, a bit earlier than expected, it was ready for pick up. In September I purchased a set of expensive all terrain tires at the Boca Raton location. About a month later I was checking the tire pressure and noticed one of the lug nuts was loose and would not tighten. It appeared to be cross threaded or stripped. I made an appointment with my mechanic who discovered a total of six studs that were stripped and cross-threaded.Because of this an immediate repair was required to make his vehicle safe to drive. The bill was over $500. After filling a claim with Tires Plus it was denied since they didn't inspect the vehicle before repairs which was impossible since it was unsafe to drive with the stripped studs. Another issue was trying to get in touch with the store manager and the adjuster which took multiple attempts. I would not recommend Tires Plus to anyone because they put my life, and that of everyone in my family at risk due to their incompetence and severe negligence. read more

Bring the car in and when I told the gentleman it was red fluid (knowing it was break or transmission fluid) he rudely told me it wasn't oil. I decided to purchase a set of tires locally for a sudden road trip that came up and this place beat all tirerack.com prices out the door! The sales associate Caryn Schindler is hands down the best sales woman I have ever worked with at any auto repair place. She is VERY knowledgable and very kind. Tires Plus even called around and matched the lowest competitor pricing for a set of half shafts I had then install on my Honda Element. My son needed a set of tires. I swapped cars with my son while he was at work to help him get this taken care of. The staff at Tires plus's accepted me on a Saturday evening shortly after three pm, they close at six on Saturday. They were able to help me get this done with a smile. All of the staff were very polite and courteous. I waited for about three hours in the waiting area. They had a coffee machine, vending machine, cable television. I felt very safe while waiting. The AC was very cold, which was awesome!!! There's a bathroom, if needed. There is plenty of parking. Most important for the life of the tires we have free rotations, they pride themselves in safety after installation with hand checking to tighten the lug nuts....I would definitely be back for other services if necessary. 4 brand new tires with a $40 coupon was extremely reasonable!!!! Went to location in Delray Beach for tires. The service guy called me and told me I needed brakes all around and had leaking calipers on my Honda. Priced at $1800 without tires! I declined and took the car to Honda direct. All I needed was new front pads for $259. COMPLETE HACKS!!! STAY AWAY, ABSOLUTE HORROR SHOW I had a screw in my tire for about a month and finally brought it to this location for a tire patch. I woke up the next morning and the tire that had been patched was completely flat - STRIKE 1. Had to call an Uber in order to get to/from work. When I got home from work, I put my spare tire on the car and dropped off the damaged tire to be fixed correctly. I told them, I wanted them to repair the patch, put the tire back on the car and refund my money for the inconvenience. They agreed to refund my money if the tire was leaking from where it was patched. I return to the shop an hour later so they can put my tire back on, but no one has had a chance to even look at it yet - STRIKE 2. Finally, the "tire manager", Chris, call me into the shop and tells me they can't find where the tire is leaking from, but its definitely not leaking from where it was patched the day before. He says they are not going to refund my money. I calmly explained to Chris, that if it is not leaking from the patch, its leaking from somewhere else because of their work the previous day! Its not a coincidence that they worked on the tire the day before, I drove from their garage to my house (1.7 miles away), parked for the night and the next morning the tire is flat! COMMON SENSE. Chris tried to tell me I may have picked up another screw on the road - he claims it happens all the time and customers come back to have their tires re-patched all the time, sometimes right after leaving the parking lot!!!!!! Chris, YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!! After lots of yelling, Chris tells me I am not getting my money back and he's not going to put my tire back on!!!! STRIKE 3. He refused to call the manager, who is never there apparently, so I parked my car under their garage door and shut my engine off and locked the car so they couldn't close the garage. Idiot Chris then goes to the back and finally calls someone, probably the manager, and tells me he will refund me and put the tire back on. I am still uncertain if it will leak again! STAY FAR AWAY! My husband dropped off his car for a tire to be patched at 11am. We called at 3:30 PM to see if the car was done. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes they got on the line and asked to call us back. They called my husband back a half hour later and indicated we left them the wrong keys? We called back and spoke with Josep, who indicated he was sorry he was confused and they had to run another ticket. We got there at 4:10pm and the car had still not moved from the parking lot. I asked why it was not done? The said they will take it back as soon as they can. They then to the car back 15 min later only to indicated that the tire could not be patched which was bullshit!!! And we needed a new tire. This tires plus is not managed well at all. Unfortunately this is the second time we've had issues with them. I tried calling corporate and the customer service rep hung up on me.
