Awful experience!!!!!!! I scheduled an appointment on 6/8 for today (6/12) at 10am. I dropped off the car, confirmed everything and was all set. At noon I get a text that my appointment was changed to 7pm. I call them and the guy that answers has some BS story about their system getting messed up and he was just rearranging stuff, but they're getting to my car shortly. At 2pm I call and the same guy says they still haven't got to my car but will shortly. At 3:45pm I call again and a woman answers and knows right away what car I'm asking about. She sheepishly says they haven't started yet. At this point I get mad. I'm like what the hell is going on here. She starts with the excuses about jobs backed up and their compressor went down, blah, blah. I just said I'm coming to get my car. When I went in to get my car, the guy just gave me my key and said nothing. No apology, silence. My car sat for 7 hours and never moved!!! This place is a damn joke. AVOID!!!!! read more

BUYER BEWARE! I truly hate even giving them 1 Star! I had a very disappointing experience at Tires Plus on E. Martintown Rd., North Augusta, SC. I was charged for work that was never performed. What makes this even more concerning is that the Manager acknowledged that the work had not been completed, yet I was still billed for it anyway. That is completely unacceptable. I expect honesty and transparency when doing business with an auto service provider, and this experience fell far short of that standard. I strongly recommend that others carefully review their invoices and confirm that all work has actually been completed before paying. I will not be returning. And I will be filing a complaint with the BBB! read more

I had an appointment for inspection at 2:00 pm and I got there early. I sat for over and hour and 30 before I asked if they had started on my vehicle. They said that the mechanic was still working on another appointment. No one was going to tell me anything. I sat there wasting my time when I scheduled an appointment. What was the point in scheduling? I just asked for my keys back and left. I will not be coming back here. Customer service is trash and non-existent. The old manger that ran this place was amazing! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! My experience started one week ago when I requested an appointment online. I then requested a chat about the appointment because I wanted to make sure they had the time a tired I needed. My appointment was set at 4:00 pm I was advised to go in an hour early to get my oil changed, my tires changed, my air filters changed, and my brakes checked. I promptly arrived at 2:30 for extra time as a curtesy to both the store and my technician. My car was worked on at the time tires changed, oil changed, air filters done, I was advised I did not need breaks at this time and then informed at the end of my appointment almost 4 hours later they could not accommodate the alignment that was requested (should go hand in hand with a new set of tires). The advisor told me they there wasn't any one qualified to do the service on site and assured me as long as I wasn't going to drive over 150 miles that week it would be fine to wait until Sunday (my only day off until Christmas), he then called to make sure someone would be available Sunday morning at 8 am... once he got confirmation we set the appointment. Immediately getting into my car that night I noticed my psi on all four of my tires were different 31,36,38 and 34.... On a BRAND NEW SET OF INSTALLED TIRES.... Today is Sunday my only day off until Christmas and I show up on time with the mind set of getting it done early so I can't get the rest of my errands done I specifically also asked my psi be fixed..... with no stress I went next door and had breakfast.... I come back about 30 minutes later to wait, then wait then wait some more about 9:47 I ask how much longer it would be .... The technician tells me the guy that will be doing my alignment hasn't even showed up to work yet ..... HE LET ME SIT THERE FOR HOURS WITHOUT EVEN GIVING ME THE COURTESY OF TELLING ME THE MECHANIC HADN'T SHOWN UP!!!! I am livid I had this experience!!!! I was promised the appointment first thing; the appointment was confirmed and double checked with management; I also went a step further to call and make sure to confirm yesterday. The guy running the front told me he can't make people show up for work .... I immediately went online to chat requesting immediate assistance, I requested the tech to call the manager (he refused) (he said they have no manager and scoffed that he's not calling someone on a Sunday) , I was told my case would be escalated and I would be contacted asap ..... no one has touched base no one has called ..... this has been one of the most unprofessional and worst forms of customer service I have ever experienced. I don't plan on using Tires Plus again! I have been a loyal customer for YEARS!!! And I will go out of my way to make sure to tell my friends and family not to go to this location!!! I left there so mad, frustrated, and annoyed at the whole situation!!!!! I also then had to turn around and go right back because my 4 new tires STILL HAD 4 DIFFERENT PSI!!!!!! I've had good experiences with this location in the past, with very good employees. But some of the employees I've dealt with last visit were stoned or didn't speak English at an 8th grade level. So after the stoner took several hours for a repair that didn't take, I then had to call them on the phone and try to understand the next guy. I make an appointment for even the most minor repair, in this case a slow leak on a tire they patched a couple weeks ago that continues to leak, it takes HOURS. Even with techs standing around. What's the point of buying tires here with the road hazard insurance if you cant use it because you don't have 4 hours to wait around for a 30 min task? read more

I had an appointment today at 3 for an oil change and tire rotation. I got there about 2:45. At 4, I am still waiting for my car to be moved. I decided to leave. When I had not heard from them by 5:45, I called and was told he was bringing it out and would be ready in a few minute. I got there to see my car still parked in the original spot and had not been moved. No one could explain the lie, offered an explanation or even an apology. I was told they could still take care of it so I decided to wait, after another 15 minutes, still no movement so I decided to get my keys and leave. Again..no apology. Was here visiting from Atlanta and had an issue with my tire. I tried at least 5 other places that were completely booked for the day prior to here. When I got here the lady at the front was super friendly and helpful. I stayed no more than 40 mins in and out. They checked all 4 of my tires added new weights and were super friendly. The customer service was excellent and I was able to get back on the road in a decent time!!!! I definitely visit again! read more

They need a negative 5 stars for wasting two days of my time. Brought it yesterday for a problem and they made me take it back today. All the people I deal with had a bad attitude and lots of stories and excuses why they could not find the problem or get to the car. Dropped it off today in the morning and get a call in the afternoon saying they needed more time and wanted it another day and had looked at it and found nothing again. Went and got the car and it had not moved from where we parked it, they had not looked at it today in spite of it being the SECOND day there. Made me wait another 30 minutes to even get the car. Avoid at all costs, waste of time and they are incompetent and mismanage things and have an attitude with customers. Not surprised, they screw things up all day according to their sale rep. They can NOT be trusted to work on a bicycle and when I called corporate to give them feedback they hang up on my the first time! read more

As a young couple from the Atlanta, GA area, we deciding to drive to South Carolina for a weekend trip. On the way our tire was popped by a screw. We had a tow truck bring us to this location and I am so thankful we did. The wait was long, however while sitting there waiting for the vehicle to be serviced, the young woman I believe by the name of Cayton was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. Not sure to give a 3 star for great services recommended or a 1 star thinking I might have been SCAMMED... This experience happened sometime in June 2012. I just went in for oil change $39.95... yea, changed within one hour!... I left my 92 yr. old father in the reception area and I went shopping...I thought all would be great... HOWEVEVR, they "discovered I had 2 parking lites out and proceeded to change when they asked my 92 year father if they could perform the service, of course, my father couldn't check to see if they were out... so they proceeded to "do the work"... or did they???? Another $40+ SO - thus, I give a 1 star as I just heard rumors that most garages are using this ploy for charging for unnecessary services performed. They've been claiming that parking lites are out which includes another $40 + on the bill. I used a coupon that I had in the mail that took off $25. TIP --- for future coupons - they are found online! Print them out before going AND definitely check your lights before you go! read more

Just got a set of new tires here. And was pleased with the fast and friendly service. I take my van here for oil changes and been having my Prius serviced elsewhere but thinking of just switching to here for everything. I don't know a lot about cars but I get a mostly honest vibe from them here. I don't like that it seems you get some lady off-site who answers phones. There was some communication gaps between her and the technicians but overall service was friendly and good. Definitely check out coupons online. And if you have a friend at Bridgestone then hit him or her up for a friend and family discount. That saved me $$ too :) read more

I have been to Tires Plus on 4 different occasions now for oil changes, tire rotations, a new battery and a set of new tires. Each time I have visited since my first time in, the staff have recognized me and made me feel welcome. The service advisor keeps me informed of the progress, as I wait for my car each time. The technicians are always available to talk to me if I have questions and treat me like I am their only customer. The service is outstanding and although they give me a full report on my car, they never pressure me to purchase anything I don't need - unlike the dealership. My most current visit was during the COVID-19 crisis and the team made sure they provided great service while observing the social distancing rules. I am grateful they are making the effort to remain open so I can still get my car serviced, as I need it to travel to and from work as an "essential, front line" employee at an area hospital. True hometown service at a great price! read more

Don't ever use the place. The customer service is terrible. The guy was texting when I walked in and finished his whole message before he asked could he help me. It was 5:15 and they close at 6 pm. I had the tire off of the vehicle and needed it repaired. He told me they couldn't do it today with only one car in the bay and the other guys standing around on their phone. I went across the street to NTB and they also closed at 6. They had a car in every bay and still helped me as long as I didn't mind the wait. Some people just want a check but don't want to actually work for it. NTB has gained a customer for life. read more

Quoted the wrong tire and wrong price on the phone after reading to Kevin the size directly off the tire. Had an appointment for 8a but they ordered and installed the wrong tire, it's 2 hours later and I'm still waiting for my repair to be done. The manager has a HORRIBLE attitude problem and they are in no hurry to help anybody.

I called ahead for a new battery when I got there I was told that I was lucky because they had one. I have to leave my car because they were busy, I received a call about 3.5 hours later, that the sales person made a mistake and that they couldn't get the actual battery until tomorrow. I did express that, that wouldn't work because I'm scheduled to go out of town in the morning. There was nothing offered to me for my inconvenience and a mistake made by their employee and the apology did not seem very sincere! Disappointed, because I have been a customer for years. read more
