I've been here a couple of times over the years for the odd oil change and tire patch-up. Those experiences were fine. More recently I took my car in for more serious work, and there were some new faces and a new professionalism that was obvious. I dealt with 2 gentlemen during the process, and they were both fantastic. They explained the scope of the work that was needed and answered all of my questions. The work was completed within the time frame quoted and the price was fair. They called the next day to follow up and make sure I was satisfied. My car is running great. Been an NTB customer for a long time and just moved to the Augusta area. I brought my wife's car here for a new set of tires and an alignment as the old ones were just a bit worn and she has a decently long commute to work. We keep up on maintenance very well and the car had no issues prior to the visit. After replacing the tires, my wife noticed that after reaching a speed of about 55 mph the car would start to violently shake to the point where she was worried about controlling it. The car also was drifting like the alignment was off. I didn't notice this since I didn't drive very far and did not go faster than 35 mph on the way home, but I realized I never got the paperwork for the alignment. I took it back and had the team here redo the work. The worker came back assuring me that there was no issue with the tire balance , but they went ahead and did it again anyway to be safe. Long story short the problem remained, so we took it to our dealership where the employee told us that the tires were absolutely not balanced and the alignment was off as well. So now I am spending more money to fix the work that had allegedly already been done twice. I recommend you do not bring your car here if you value your time, money and safety in your vehicle. read more

The front desk staff is great. They were upbeat and fun. Colby was very professional and obviously took pride in his job and the performance of the store. I had an appointment for a tire change and tire patch. I got there 10 minutes early. I could see my car on the rack. Once the oil change was done they confirmed I wanted the tire patched. I said yes. I saw the tech remove and replace the tire. After about 10 minutes and having been there for an hour and a half already I asked how much longer it would be. I could see the tire was back on. Colby went out to check and told me they were just putting the tire back on and balancing it and it wouldn't be much longer. Strange because the tire was already back on. Another 15 minutes passed and nobody ever touched my car. I asked again pretty upset that I had now been there almost 2 hours. Finally they got my car down and I was able to check out. Colby did his best to check me out quickly and gave me a discount for my next visit. Which was nice. However it should not have taken 2 hours when I had a set appointment. And I think time was wasted when my car was finished it was not immediately brought around. read more

I came in to get an alignment on my car. The process took about 45 minutes which is what I was expecting. However, the outcome was less than stellar. Upon checking out, I asked for the test results. A before and after test reading is standard for all alignments. The employee assisting me told me that their printer was out of ink and they had taken a picture of the results instead. This sounded fishy. I asked for the pictures and I was told that I could not get them. He told me that the car has to be hooked up to the machie to read the results which is accurate but he was obviously unwilling to do that again trying to get me out of the door. How am I supposed to know anything was done without the results? I left and my car drove exactly the same as before. I decided to go to the Tire Kingdom in Evans later on that night to get the free alignment test that they offer. The men working in Evans gladly showed me the results on their machine (they were also out of ink) and explained to me what needed to be done but I definitely needed an alignment. My suspicion was confirmed. No work had been done on my car earlier that afternoon. And there was proof for them within the same company. This morning I called to speak with the store manager and he offered to re-do the job that should've been done right the first time. I had almost taken him up in that offer but I decided to speak with the regional manager and he offered me a full refund. You know the saying...'fool me once...'? No thank you. It is difficult to find an honest mechanic and if that's what you're looking for then don't come here. read more

This is the only place I take my car. That is because the store is honest and tells me what I need and what I don't need. I have thought I needed stuff done on my car before and they will be honest and let me know that I don't need what I thought. I have a car with nearly 400,000 miles on it and they are the ones responsible for keeping it running. Nearly everything that has been done in this vehicle has been done by them. Now I have another car with 67,000 miles and they have kept it going strong. I buy Toyotas and have them serviced here, where I trust the service and advice. Sometimes I may have to leave the car or wait for a while, but that's because they are busy with other people who also love it here. read more

Not only was I refused the tire rotation but I was somehow charged $28-something for the basic oil change after I specified that I wanted the deal on the billboard. After that they did a workup trying to sell me -two- tires for over $570. lol no. I'm not coming back. What a mess. read more

I just needed new wind shield wipers and an oil change....I bought the wipers and got them replaced. They were put on incorrectly I guess because they flew off of my car when I used them for the first time. Pretty scary when it is raining and you are on the highway! I delivered my car to NTB May 27, 2020 and gave the key to Colby the guy I talked to on the phone prior to bringing it. He assured me that my car will be worked on in a timely manner. I went out of town for the weekend and I decided to give them a call that Tuesday considering they never called me. Colby told me that the technician called in 2 days in a row and they don't know what going on. So I said ok. A whole week went by, still no call. I called NTB ONCE AGAIN. Asking what's the hold up. And nothing. I was not told any new information concerning my car. Still sitting on the outside of the shop ALL DAY AND NIGHT. So I walked up there after working all night and wanted to know why my car has been sitting there for 2 weeks with nothing done to it. Not even a simple diagnostic done. Colby told me the technician just came back yesterday and was cleared and offered a discount or rental but have to get with manager. That was a Thursday. Here comes next Thursday and STILL NO CALL, CAR STILL SITTING IN SAME SPOT!!! I just finally called another shop and had it towed there. This company has lost a customer. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had at a place in search of an oil change. I called up here yesterday around 5 pm and spoke to lady. I told her I needed to schedule an appointment because I needed to be back at school by 2:30 and probably was not going to be able to wait long. I told her I could be there at 12:30 but she said (for some reason) that she would schedule me for 12. In this conversation, she said that it would only take 30 minutes max. However, when I came in today for the oil change, the guy there was very rude and told me it would take over an hour. He continued to say "we're not Jiffy Lube" and "we take longer than Jiffy Lube" even though I never mentioned Jiffy Lube - all I asked was how long it would take. I also received some not so good looks from the employees probably because of my age and because of my outfit- still made me uncomfortable. I had time to sit for the hour and have them do the oil change. However, I refuse to support a business who cannot be true to their word and is very rude. I would not have made an appointment with them if they were going to be this rude and disorganized. I've been a customer for years, but will no longer go to a business that doesn't value my time. It took over over two hours to get an oil change, even though I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment. Why make appointments if you can't honor them? Yes, they were busy, but 4 jobs were done and I was the last one left waiting. I checked on the status a few times and saw no one touching my car until I pushed the issue. They checked me out without the folder with the paperwork from the tech and my key. I asked for my key and no one new where it was! Car was still in garage. I stopped using them last year for tires because somehow cooper tires with a buy two/get two special ended up being $250 more than another place with better tires, no "special" and same fees & road hazard coverage! The list of "added fees" on the tire estimate last year almost went onto a second page. The oil change is cheap, but not when they waste your time. The pricey rating is because their other prices are jacked up! read more
