Way cheaper than going to the dealer and I was able to get military discount and the Discount tire pay over time with 0% Apr benefits! No scratches on the rims, job done perfectly. They were unable to do the alignment because components of the vehicle needed to be taken off, so they told me to get that done at the dealership. My tire shredded on the way to do errands on a rainy Saturday morning on a holiday weekend. Thanks to running flats I was able to pull into discount tire and pay just 10 dollars to have the spare tire put on. Be aware due to appointments, I did have to wait about 70 minutes but they did a great job. My only complaint is that the earliest they could have gotten a replacement tire in is Wednesday and that was a big MAYBE. The service attendant was great. Once they got to my tire they were quick and efficient! If the TAT on the tire supply chain was a bit quicker, it would have been an excellent visit. read more

Great Service Despite a Rocky Start Had an appointment at Discount Tire for Friday to get four new tires, and I dropped my truck off Thursday afternoon. Initially, I was frustrated by the long wait just to drop it off -- it felt disorganized and time-consuming. However, my experience quickly turned around. Later that evening, they called to say they had time to go ahead and work on it that night and had everything finished ahead of schedule. I even had enough time to pick it up before closing, which was a pleasant surprise. To top it off, while I was on the way to the store, they went ahead and checked the alignment for me, going the extra mile without being asked. That level of service really stood out. Very disappointed with this visit. I was looking for a place to get a tire repair. I saw online that this service was provided at no cost. I booked an appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Sessel, the assistant manager. He said we needed to take a look at the tire. Before we were half way to the car, and not having seen the tires, he was telling me that my tires were probably dry rotted and couldn't be fixed. He kept telling me that they probably couldn't fix them and I needed to buy new tires When we got back to the office I asked for new tire prices. He pulled them up on the screen, turned the screen towards me and said here are the top picks. When I asked for a copy of the available choices to make my decision, he said no. He could not give me one. How can I decide on a tire, with a possible cost of over $1000, without the opportunity to review the information? He then asked what I wanted to do if my tire couldn't be repaired, because he would not put it back on the rim. I then said just give me back my keys, I'll go elsewhere. Not the experience I expected. I have been on this earth too long to tolerate this type of pushy behavior. I pulled in to have my tire air checked. It was pouring rain and there was a semi blocking the lane for tire checks. A really nice employee, Jerry, told me to pull up at an angle and he'd check them. As I pulled away, something was making a horrible noise under the car. A cone had beenin the way and was under my car. Jerry and another employees jacked up my car and removed it. This may sound like a simple review but I'm older and the respectful, accommodating employees are hands down the best. It's a corporate culture that I also experienced for many years in Phoenix. I ordered tire and told customer service representative that I was using a specific tire and wheel coverage plan. Tire arrives in 5 days. I went to get tire put on and told same thing to the different customer service person and they tried to charge me for their replacement warranty. They failed to get prior authorization from my insurance. They did not inflate the tires to vehicle specs. They did not reset tire warning. The wait time was reasonable. Cost was reasonable. Employees weee polite but did not communicate with each other. Doubt I will go back. read more

Just an hour and a half away from our campground, with 3 kids and a dog we got not one but two blowouts on our 5th wheel. While my husband was replacing the tires with our two spares (thank god), I called probably 8 different places between our location and the campground. I recently purchased a car with brand new tires, unfortunately one tire kept losing air and I finally got fed up with it when I couldn't find the reason for it. I went into the shop without an appointment and immediately said I needed to replace the tire already knowing the tire was going to be in excess of $180. Then the man who was looking at my car said he would get his guys to see if they could patch the tire first, free of charge and then we would go from them. Great value. I started purchasing my tires from Discount Tire a few years ago because of their solid tire selections for trucks and have not looked back since. I originally went from some Bridgestone Blizzak DMs(snow), to Bridgestone A/T Revo 2(road/highway) to the Coopers(All Terrain) on my tech's recommendation for the type of driving I was going to do in the future. I have taken my tires through its paces on highway, gravel, pastures, mud and torrential rains. My ride quality will be different in a 4 by 2 truck but these are my observations. On the highway, the ride was soft and responsive in the beginning, but after many miles I do hear some road noise, but then again I am driving a truck. Gravel driving was all smiles, no punctures even though I caught a couple of nails during the trips. The grooves are so deep that most of the rocks would be spit out by the time I hoped off a trail back to the road. Riding in a pasture was epic just keep it slow and steady for better grip especially in sharp turns or doughnuts. These are not mud grapplers so you will lose some grip, but it has a decent sidewall and if you deflate your tires no problems should arise, but always bring a tow hook and winch. Now with any tire no matter how good it is, there will be some hydroplaning in standing water or heavy rainfalls and yes these do a bit of that, but to counteract the effects I found that if I drop to 4 Low from Overdrive than it is smooth sailing with minor lapse in road contact. Overall, I am very satisfied with all the Discount Tires I have purchased from. I wish they did wheel alignments, but if it messes up a good thing, I will pass!!! The standard remains the same, great tires for a good price and if it is not too busy you can catch one or two technicians dancing to their music in the bays! read more

My appointment was scheduled for noon on a week day (the day after I called) but I dropped it off closer to 10:30 and told them it wasn't a rush. At 11:10 my car was ready for pick up! Basically an hour before my appointment was even scheduled. I also found a lower price online and showed them and they were able to beat that price on the spot after quickly authenticating it in less than a minute. I visited this location in late 2019 to get the tires rotated on my wife's car. At 15 minutes past my appointment time, they took her car in, and an hour later I left. Told myself I'd never go back. Last week, I decided to try again, and ordered two tires for my car. I was given an appointment of 4:15. At 4:30, when I was seen, I was told my tires had not arrived, at was promised they'd be in the next day, and was once again given a 4:15 appointment. Upon arrival the next day, I was greeted just before my 4:15 appointment, but sat in my car for another 15 minutes before I gave up and left. Not certain if they need to learn how to schedule better, or just not concerned about their customer's... Went to get a price on 2 tires just now. Never seen such apathetic workers. Rude too. Tried to tell me I had to get 4 new tires when I know better. I had a flat this morning and went to NTB. They gave me a decent price but had to have them delivered so I decided to ride up the road and get a price at this place to see if they were cheaper. He quoted me 312.00 for 2 tires. At NTB it was going to be 229.00. And he said I would need to wait until tomorrow to get them. After he tried to tell me I had to get 4 new tires when I know good and well I don't.
