We have been taking our vehicles here since 2018. During that time, we've had countless things done with all of them. Frequent oil changes, replacing brakes, tires, fans, everything. The service over the last two years has really declined. It seems to be nothing but high school students now, or employees that don't know a lot about what they're doing. We've been charged for services they clearly did not complete. Our last trip there, they cross threaded our wheels during a rotation. read more

Oil change done. Moved across country. Brought vehicle to another tires plus that confirmed they had stripped the oil pan screw. Usually this would require them to replace it. They failed to even say it and then told me my rear end was shot and not repairable. Car is great. They are unethical. The new tires plus is fixing the problem. read more

I used to go here for my oil changes all the time. Idk seems their quality of service has been going down since before the pandemic.

On the third attempt to get an oil change, I got in. After that (which took 2 hours), I was quoted for a set of tires that I didn't ask for. I then left. When driving home, the car dashboard notice went off with a low tire pressure warning. I don't think this was a coincidence. I won't be going back there. read more

Services and prices are always top notch!! However, today I brought my truck in for an oil change and after plans changed, I couldn't return within 30 mins to get it. I never received a phone call before they closed and now I'm stuck in town with no way to get my vehicle and get home today. I feel for Raison. I've had car troubles in other places on a long holiday weekend and it never goes smooth and usually involves a stay over. My experiences with Tires Plus in Bemidji are much different however. I own 5 vehicles and have them do any repairs and all maintenance needed on all 5. They never need an appointment just walk in ...even on Sundays! !! They are located close to restaurants and shopping so I never sit twittling my fingers when my trucks or cars are being worked on. I recommend for fast servicing, good work and no appointment. read more

Kids vehicle had brakes go out less than a year ago. Got a quote over the phone to replace the brake lines that ended up being more when the job was done. Was told I never should have been quoted that price. Anyways here we are less than a year later and brakes are out. Rear brake line is leaking. I thought great it's under warranty. Turns out they never replaced the rear lines just the line to the rear. So not under warranty because it wasn't ever done. Kid called and was told the kit didn't come with all lines and they didn't look bad so they didn't replace them. Funny my invoice says "replaced all brake lines" next to the labor charge and it ended up costing more to replace less parts than originally quoted. read more

I was told first come first serve. Came in as soon as they opened and was told there were 4 vehicles ahead of me. Told me it was going to be an hour so I decided to wait. 2+ hours later it was done. Had a lot of excuses. Also bill a little spendy for an oil change. Also was not presented with paper receipt. This is the second time I had problems with this business. A month earlier I purchased tires and it took a whole day to put them on also a lot of excuses that day. read more

I bought two new tires for my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica on line at tirerack.com and Tires Plus was the preferred installer in my area so I called to be sure the tires had arrived, was told not appointment was necessary, and headed out early the next day. My general impression was that Tires Plus of Bemidji was not overjoyed installing the tirerack.com tires, it seemed some paperwork was missing from the tire shipment, but the staff came through like champions. Customer service was top notch, I was happy enough with my initial contact to add their computer alignment and gave them the go ahead to install a new tie rod. Great job all around, I am going back next week for an oil change and transmission service. read more

Very impressed. Took my Prius in recently. Had a broken strut and my front rotors needed replacing. I'm not extremely auto savvy, but I know a thing or two. I know more than i let on. I really appreciated the excellent customer service I received. They were knowledgeable friendly and showed me the problem, pointed it out (even though I knew the problem prior to taking it in). I was reluctant on having them repair the broken strut. Two other places quoted me prices of $1200-$1500. I was going to save and postpone that repair. However, Tires Plus quoted me $311.33 (for a used part) and that's exactly what they charged. NO surprise charges. AJ was my guy. But everyone I spoke to there was friendly and professional. It's safe to say any future auto repairs, I'll be visiting them again. Thank you guys! read more

Very poor service. My car needed a new alternator and I took it in to Tires Plus. It was the Friday before Labor day.They said they could have it done in an hours time. After waiting for almost 4 hours - they told me that they had taken the alternator out but they were unable to put the new one in!!! Also their 'master" mechanic was gone for the long weekend it would be Tuesday morning before I got my car back. I was stuck the entire long weekend long without a car. read more

On everything AJ was my POC I had a few cars that needed things done to them. AJ was always present with a smile and ready to help me out. By far changed my perception of Tire Plus locations which I usually avoid. Will definitely be using this location again if I'm in the area or Tire Plus locations when ever I see them. read more

Went in to have a shaking in my car fixed. After three different things they did to my car that they were sure would fix the shaking, it is still there. All I ended up with is $1500 or repairs that didn't do anything and over a week without my car. read more

I have a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. It has the 3800 Series II V6 motor in it. On 9/24/11 I dropped my car off at Tire's Plus because it wasn't running right. The temperature gauge was slightly elevated and the volt gauge was slightly lower than normal. There was also some white smoke coming from under the hood on the passenger side and there was the smell anti-freeze after my car had been running for awhile. So when I dropped it off they said that they were going to call me that day to tell me what was wrong with it. They never did. I called them at about 2:45 PM because I knew that they closed at 3 PM. They told me that my head gaskets were blown but they didn't know how much it would cost because the shop foreman wasn't there and that they would call me on Monday. They did call on Monday, the 26th. I picked up my car on Wednesday, the 28th and I got the estimate. It said that I needed all new gaskets for me motor, a new thermostat, a new water pump, my radiator flushed and cleaned, and that I needed to have my cylinder heads pressure checked and resurfaced. The total for parts came to $870.23. The total for labor came to $848.15. For a grand total with tax of $1780.64. I didn't have this kind of money laying around so I had another mechanic look at it. He said its common for the motor that's in my car to have a plastic hose crack and said that if that was the case, the symptoms that my car was experiencing would be explained by that tube cracking. One elbow tube goes to the lower intake manifold and the other goes to the water pump. A set of two of these elbow tubes cost $12. They were replaced with about an hour of labor for a grand total of $90. This has completely eradicated all of the problems my car was having. In my opinion, Tire's Plus either has mechanics who are incompetent, or they thought that I was incompetent and they could charge a huge amount of money to fix something that wasn't wrong with my car. read more

i only go here because my mom makes me and every time its the same thing VERY poor service and very expensive! i hate going there they told me that they wont fix my wheel bearing until it is broke and i went to get my turn signal check out and the guy basically told me to jiggle it around and play with it and that it will be alright. also they take FOREVER to do things and they don't tell you when your car is done so you're just sitting there like an idiot. read more
