Driving from KY to KS our tire had a leak. We called several places and this was the only place that answered their phone. We showed up 10 minutes before closing they still took us. They found a hole in the side wall and it couldn't be patched and they replaced our tire. Great service would recommend!! read more

Highly recommend this place. The man running the desk this previous Saturday got me in last minute less then an hour before they closed for a new tire. Absolutely disgusting at the situation that occurred this evening at this location. My husband and I came in wanting to replace four tires that were in bad shape. We expressed to what we believe is the manager that we weren't looking for anything specific just that we needed something tonight. He said that he would be able to find us something and we'll be taken care of. That was far from the case. When he searched up the tires that we needed he showed us a $474 for four tires. We weren't in the place to negotiate so we said let's do it. He also said that this was the only ones he had in stock. So it was this or nothing. We had just came from an oil change that let us know how badly our tires were and that it was in risk of being dangerous. He told us he can get it done and and printed out a receipt for me to sign. At the point the only price that was ever mentioned was the $474 which my husband and I both heard and saw as he turned his screen to us. So it was to my surprise that after walking away from signing the receipt that the price was $747. We understood that there was labor and fees but this was way over what we were expecting. I did not look before I signed the paper and that is on me for my negligence. But what isn't okay is the actions this man took and how he treated us. We were going to just take the hit but I didn't know if there was a possibility there was an error in the pricing. I brought it up to the man after a couple minutes to which he reacted out of pure anger and defensiveness. He started screaming at my husband and me about how he didn't change anything and I signed the paper so I agreed to it. We are not confrontational people and this was an incredibly difficult situation for us, especially just coming after work and an oil change and being told our tires were in such bad shape. The man's erratic behavior continued as he only put blame on us and in no way was apologetic about the situation. By the time the car was about done, which we basically had to just wait it out, he pushed it even more by telling us our car was leaking oil everywhere and if we wanted it "fixed" to which my husband responded no out of frustration of the situation and told him that we weren't going to be scammed into paying any more money. When we finally had to pay he was on top of us about the card reader, had to call someone over the phone to get us a receipt, and was so nasty and argumentive with us with no professionalism. I am at a lost for words and utterly disgusted. I know I should have looked before I signed but in no way was his behavior excused. Once home we had our bother in law check the tires to make sure everything was okay and we found all the lugg nuts were lose and had to be turned twice. Meaning that if we were on the road for long this could have been deadly. Also our car is not leaking any oil or is there any sign of a leak. So we believe this was a more of a push for a scam. Please if you go here make sure you are reading everything and don't sign anything until you 100% know what you're paying for. read more

We had two trailer tires replaced on our vintage camper in less than one hour. Great techs and great service.

Took my truck in for an oil change and a tire rotation which was great. I also had a check engine light come on and also asked them to run diagnostics. They did and told me in layman's terms to not worry about it and that it was a disconnect from the computer to the engine. Awhile later I had to get my emissions tested and my check engine light hadn't turned off. So I took it to the dealership where I found out I had to order a piece for my engine cause it was broke. When I went back to ask for a refund (for the diagnostic test) they told me, "The dealership took your diagnostic test one step further then we did" and didn't refund my money. I didn't realize I was paying $100 for you to run a half assed diagnostic test. However, instead of a refund he offered me a free tire rotation so I could come back and spend even more money. I just moved to Columbia after having great experience for years through my previous Tires plus. I was meet by the manager Bill Kundraw and informed him that I need an oil change, tire rotation, and to check the alignment. Bill told me that we could not do the alignment so I asked when would this be done because I have put 10,000 miles in 6 weeks and I paid for the life time alignment . Bill told me that it has not been six months and would not check it. I was taken back by this and called my previous tires plus to question Bill Kundraw answer. I was informed that if I had any concerns about the alignment and or if it is pulling that Bill Kundraw should get this taken care of. I told Bill what the other store had told me and he became dismissive. I have never been treated with such rudeness, if there was another tires plus here in Columbia they would have my business. I will be taking any issues to St Louis and have my oil changes done else where. Do NOT put yourself through this punishment. I call The customer service number and they informed me that this is a private business and does not have the same responsibility as other tire plus is do around the nation. DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give them 0 stars I would've. I had a flat and took it here to get 2 new tires. They gave me an estimate and I (being a college student) said I would talk to my dad about the finances because these were expensive Pirelli tires. I ended up canceling my appt for the next morning so I could find cheaper tires. When I went to pick up my wheel, that the owner insisted I just leave there, he wouldn't give it to me. He said I had to pay for ordering the tire, mounting and dismounting because he just put the tire on my wheel as soon as they came in without confirming anything with me. The owner preceded to call me a liar and literally yell at me, shh me and point fingers at me IN FRONT of 3 other customers. When my dad called to try to resolve the issue they spoke on the phone for about 15 minutes and the owner put the phone down and refused to pick it back up. Then called me and my father a liar saying my dad hung up on him. HA. I thought he was just taking advantage of me because I'm a girl and obviously no girl would have any knowledge about tires, but no. He was just an all around a$$hole to everyone. My dad could hear him fighting with another woman customer when the owner left the phone on the counter. Whatever you do, don't give Bill Kundraw your business. He is a horrible person and ill be calling corporate and the better business bureau to report him. I'm trying to save you from all the agony I've gone through dealing with this prick. read more

Brought my vehicle in to have a punctured tire repaired. I assumed that because they are in the business of expensive rims they must know how to handle a wheel. Apparently not because they scratched and gouged my rim. What was infuriating was that the guy who was in charge (the owner?) refused to take responsibility for the damage. He kept insisting that the machine that holds the wheel doesn't touch that part of the rim, as if the air impact wrench could not have skidded across the surface. It isn't an expensive rim but that is beside the point. The vehicle is less than a year old. Now, if I don't want the rim to start rusting, I have to spend more money for the scratch and gouge repair. read more

A wise consumer is best off finding another avenue of repair, of which there are many in the immediate vicinity. Tires Plus might be a fine company overall; however, this location seems to nickel and dime their customers. An example: if one takes their car in and tells them the rear brake line needs replacing, they will charge an extra amount for a "brake inspection," when there is nothing to inspect--they have received their instructions and only need to carry them out. Simple, you'd think; yet, there's money to be had in nonsense of this sort. Like I said, this is merely a single example of how their business is run, and yet I have noticed if the Assistant Manager (the younger Caucasian fellow) is taking care of your service--as opposed to the older Indian man--you will wind up spending considerably less. Often, in the latter case, surprise charges appear, and it's possible your vehicle will begin repeating it's ailments soon after it's been returned to you. I might be wrong, but it feels as if corners have been cut in order to push more customers through, rather than truly addressing the problems thoroughly. As I've stated previously, there are more reliable repair shops within a handful of blocks away, and it might be in your interest to investigate those before dealing with Tires Plus. read more

Probably the worst experience ever. Complete bait-and-switch with the tires, wouldn't service my brakes after inspection, and conned me into replacing all belts when only one was needed. Wanted to ensure my vacation drive to the East Coast went well, so I was willing to get the recommended service. On the trip home the AC went out, not two weeks after they worked on it. Suspect. If I could give Tires Plus Total Car Care negative stars I totally would. I went in late July because I was on a road trip and I had heard a rattling in my car, and wasn't sure what it was. The Owner, Bill, "solved" my problem by selling me 4 tires, alignment, and balancing. My Honda's TPMS sensor came on after I left. When I called in Sonu (spelling?), The manager, told me it was the tire pressure sensor and to take it to another store Tires Plus Total Car Care Store. I was already back home at this point and the nearest store was far out of my way. That along with the way this place treated me made me not want to go. I decided to go to Honda instead and they found that with the tire installation one of my sensors in the tires was broken hence why the sensor, which wasn't the tire pressure sensor, came on. So at this point I had to pay this Tires Plus Total Car Care and Honda. I talked to Sonu again after talking to Honda. He lectured me on the warranty saying it does not work since I didn't go back to their store, and he told me to take the broken sensor, put something in between the tire (I still don't know what this means), and take it to the Far Away Tires Plus Total Car Care store to replace it. He also told me that I would have to call corporate if I wanted my money. I called corporate only to find out that this was an independently owned store, and it would ultimately be up to Bill to give me the money I had to pay Honda to diagnose the Tires Plus Total Car Care's mistake. After talking to corporate I talked to Bill which really got me nothing except a worse a worse temper. I had forgotten Bill's name when I was calling, and he would not tell me his name until I had asked him 3-4 times, and until I told him that the call was regarding a complaint about my service. He told me that it wasn't his fault that Honda was ripping me off, that Honda knew nothing about my Honda, and that the TPMS sensor and the tire pressure sensor are the same thing. (Makes total sense since it is two completely different sensors- One is represented by (!) and the other (TPMS)). Bill also told me that Honda broke my sensor and would not admit it. I went to Honda with the problem and the sensor on, so they couldn't have been the ones who broke the sensor. After Honda proved it was Tires Plus Total Car Care's fault I had them fax over papers to the tire store and I again demanded my money back. Bill told me that I was being ripped off because replacing that sensor should take 5 minutes, and it was a $50 Pre-programmed part. (These sensors are not preprogrammed and have to be programmed for the car they will be used on). I would not recommend this place to anyone. They will not own up to their mistakes, and don't know how to treat customers. I will NEVER go here again. read more
