They were already out of most of the fresh baked bread from today. They did have one bag left and I…read morehad nine pita pockets in it. The owner had to go in the back to grab them. I was hoping to get some radishes and some mint here, but I only saw some fruit and a few veggie items. They didn't look so great and it wasn't a huge selection unfortunately. The owner wasn't the friendliest or warmest, but was nice enough to tell me that there was another store just north on Ryan Road that might have more pita pockets. I need more for the party I have later today. They at least had plenty of Lebanon and a variety of different kinds too. I also grabbed a bag of regular pita as well, not the fresh kind from today though. It was $12.46 for three containers of Lebanon nine pita pockets and one bag of pita.

I was in a hunt for raw, unsalted cashews. Meijer sold them in the ethnic aisle, but it seems…read morethey're lacking some things in the Middle Eastern section nowadays. I drove into the parking lot, watching out for potholes and crazy drivers, parked, and walked in. The cashier was very nice! She was extremely helpful and recommended I try some things out. My goal was strictly for some cashews (which they have), but I also got a bag full of this snack mix, which is very addictive (the large bag slightly off to the right when you walk in). Got kids? Get them hooked on this stuff instead of candy. It's a bit salty, but chock full of nuts and seeds. There is quite a bit of bulk items, something I wish I could see more of in other grocery stores. There is also a selection of hookahs and shisha for those who appreciate a smooth smoke. As far as the bakery part goes, I wasn't so interested in that part, although I hear that it is in fact a functional bakery. In all, if you're looking for Middle Eastern groceries, snacks, or candy, this is the place to go. Support local grocers! I'll definitely be back.
